Wow uve definitely Captivated the essence of the Howgills of the rolling hills and Sleeping Elephants i look forward to visiting at some point Thankyou once again 😀
@marksalmon6773 you will love Sedbergh and Arant Haw , especially if you continue to The Calf , just love rhe valleys and the light one gets on these hills , I'm sure you won't be disappointed
Hi Tracey, the Howgills are so nice, lovely walking, and as you say you get some amazing light on the sides of the fells and in the valleys. Thank you for sharing your days adventure with us. All the very best, Dave.
Really good to see these hills which I have no experience of. A lovely (and quiet) area by the look of it. Terrific views both from ground level and the drone. Hope you do more walks in this area in future. Thanks for sharing your walk with us.
Sedbergh, lovely starting point & as Andy said CUMBRIA, nin of this Yorkshire rubbish 😂😂👍another lovely walk amongst 'The Sleeping Elephants' ❤.drone footage was again very good at capturing whst the eye can't see Tracey 😀 map & scissors time very useful 👍 regards to Andy & Billy Bob 🐶🐕❤🎉
Hi Tracey, Amazed you managed to find so many people to talk to, it looked very under-trod. Billy was quick to get his feet wet. Your new(ish) camera picked up the light on the distant fields with their new season grass. Went for a walk with my group on Sunday and passed through a field of Yorkshire fog, so I think we are well ahead of you. Surprised you were walking in trainers. I'd twist an ankle in the first hundred yards 😳 . I recognised the drive back. Cheers Graham
Thanks Graham , where did you go walking ? We are gonna try to head to Yorkshire a bit more but we have no idea where to go , any suggestions not too far away other than 3 peaks or Ingleton or Malham ? Was looking at Great Shunner Fell from Thwaite , Wharfedale with its limestone , we have been to Muker that's nice , any other ideas?
@@Traceyattrill-Essexgirlinwild Hi Tracey, Sorry for the slow response, our walk was in Berkshire, a place with the delightful name of Tutts Clump. As for walks in Yorkshire we have walked from Askrigg common, from Butter Tubs and Thwaite. These were all before I got my Satmap so sorry no gpx files. Cheers Graham
We are going back to The Howgills this weekend Julie , we did record The Border Ridge onto The Calf rhe other month, I think we are doing Wild Boar Fell this weekend , perfect for dogs as no fences or walls anywhere and then fish and chips at Kirby Stephen haha
