The photos you shared were gorgeous! You being an artist sets you apart in interior design in the inspirational photos you source as well as how you decorate.
I love when you say, " Hey Babe," no one ever says that to this 70 year old grandma and I kind of love it! Stunning visuals in this video, love the music and your voice too, all soothing, inspiring and always the encouragement to be true to yourself. You are the best and I hope you know how good you are.❤
Izzie darling thank you for being here ❤️ Sending you big hugs 🤗 Thank you for tuning in and for sending your lovely comment. It made me smile and yes-you are a BABE!
Your art background shines through here, Christina. I love how you think of colours-quite poetic. My ‘10%’ interior accent colour is a subdued burnt-golden Mary-Quant-esque, ‘70s yellow’, as I think of it (I could’ve just said mustardy yellow haha). It's an ode to snippets of good memories from early childhood when I still lived in Europe. I’m also currently ordering a poster of the classic 1916 William Morris (‘cock pheasant’) tapestry for a bigger colour-pop in one of my vignettes-in my otherwise neutral-colour-furnished/white-walled living area. I need the option to be able to put away items with bold colours (or experiment with entirely new colours) and pare things right back to calm and quiet if I need that from my home. Have a beautiful day. J x
Yes! I am the same way. I go through phases but after Jerry saw the video yesterday he was inspired to add some color. I love yellow. It’s my favorite color-of course the subdued versions just like you!
Beautiful video. My livingroom is like that, meaning a neutral basis and some color, like my golden yellow sofa and my art. Also my books. I love this kind of combination, this is really me. Have only a tiny bit of blue in my home, but it contrasts beautifully with the ochre yellows. Plan to buy a 17th century Delfts blue tile, just for decorating and bringing some antiques into the livingroom, but also some of the blue/indigo color. Your pics were soooo beautiful and inspiring! Also a great intro, thank you.
This morning, I swapped my usual Sunday routine to wait for your video. It was a perfect excuse to indulge in a leisurely morning - listening to the birds outside my bedroom window, tidying up at my own pace, and lounging in my PJs on the porch. Instead of the chaos of Trader Joe's and its parking lot, I ended up having the groceries delivered, and your video was well worth the wait. The intro, imagery, and advice were just what I needed to take my mind off of my usual Sunday scaries. Yes, to yellow and indigo! I've been trying to find a way to incorporate Boro into my space. Thinking along those lines, I think Oxblood would be a wonderful color choice. I've found in my own home that it pairs beautifully with warm neutrals. I'm not surprised at all by how well your home tour was received. This is definitely a need for more contemporary, eclectic, and warm spaces on UA-cam - especially those that are achievable, beautiful, thoughtful, and result in something so special. You were able to take a relatable house and make it something truly inspiring. Congrats on the channel's success and so much more to come! Sending you and Jerry wishes for a wonderful week ahead! P.S. I was in NYC in May and left so inspired by SoHo and the new JCrew store. Visit if you haven't already!
Oh I haven’t visited the new J Crew store in SoHo yet-I definitely must. It’s not too far from our place in the city. Where to begin on your comment, first off THANK YOU 🤗 We worked so hard on our little home and enjoyed sharing it with you all. Thank you for appreciating it. We sure love it and it inspires me all the time. Also every color you mentioned is dreamy. You are speaking my color love language. I have always had a soft spot for ox blood in clothing, accessories and fabrics. Love it with all the warm neutrals. I would say I’m sorry for the delay on the video but your morning/early afternoon sounds amazing! I would have those groceries delivered all the time so you can enjoy that Sunday morning feeling-especially from TJs! I have no doubt you deserve it 😘
Textiles are the cheapest, easiest way to change your home. I think I follow the trends a bit too much, but I do it through textiles like my current love of ox blood red, maroon and plain red. I'm calling it my 90s phase 😂 can't wait for all the next videos. I think indigo might be my new obsession.
Omg CD that indigo!!! 😍 I wish this emoji had blue hearts for the eyes. So stunning. I’m obsessed too!! Btw it’s all about bringing back the 90s babe. So do it!!! 😘
I absolutely loved the photos you shared. Thank you. Another inspiring segment! These days, I am absolutely in a colour phase. My colour of choice at the moment is the Inchyra blue by Farrow and Ball. I am obsessed with it. However, not only....:) I love the colour palette I have chosen to incorporate into my home...each piece coming together. Your videos are so satisfying to keeping me on my creative odyssey...
Thank you, luv! Ahhh yes I remember your love of color-and that F & B color is gorgeous! Hope your home/studio is coming together nicely. I promise to keep more inspiration coming ❤️
I looked forward all day to tuning into this video after arriving home from our getaway to the Northern CA coast. You have selected the most beautiful pics showcasing the color indigo. It is one of my fave colors and I find I use it a lot in my art as well as accessories in my home. I’m drawn to indigo along with shades of ochre. Truly inspiring. Can’t wait for next week in SoHo, and Jer making us pasta dinner! 🥰
Oh yes! Indigo and ochre are magic!!! I’m so happy you e joyed the video my dear and look forward to next week, too 🤗 Big hug babe! Have a great week and see ya next Sunday 😘 PS Your getaway so sounds lovely 💙💛
Hi Christina love your beautiful design sense and could sure use your help making our apartment into something more pleasant on the eyes. We have been living in this rut of indecisiveness far too long. Time to make it into a beautiful space for relaxation and creativity!
Yes Kim! You deserve to have a home you’re in love with, there is no better time than the present. I hope that this video gives ya a little inspo to get started. More to come, luv 😘
I love your channel! I would love for you to fix my home. I have a small condo with no entryway. In my living room, there are three passage ways that make it hard for furniture placement. Thank you for sharing your amazing decorating skills with us.
Oh yeah for sure. I’ll let everyone in the channel know when I do the open call later this month. Also you can join the mailing list and I’ll email you all there too!
We just put an offer on a place with orangey wood floors and cabinets , so that’s enough color for us!! just kidding, I’m excited to neutralize the floors and then incorporate some nice ochres and ambers around the place later :) love your work and vibe so much, thanks!
It sounds to me like you have a great plan. I definitely want to see the result ❤️ We have those orange wood floors in our house but I gotta tell ya they have grown on me; however, I can the see how it could be a bit too much with cabinets and floors though!! 🙃 Btw ochres and ambers with look gorgeous my dear 😘
You made me sure I love blue with this video. Love all the pics. I’d love your thoughts on how to paint my cabinets. I think I want to paint them but need to get the color right, if I’m going to do all the work …
I love a painted cabinet. What is your kitchen like now and how do you want it to be/feel? We painted ours and I love the outcome. Stix primer is amazing!
@@ChristinaDiStefanoStudio the kitchen is builder-grade 2016 style cabinets that are very dark, almost black stain and are already showing a lot of wear. No hardware. Super boring and they do nothing for me. I want a new stove and to get rid of the standard builder microwave hood. I’d like the kitchen to be warm yet stay bright, mostly where you would feel cozy. My table is very farmhouse looking though, countertop height with stools instead of regular chairs. and it wasn’t my first pick, I defaulted to what my husband liked because I felt pressured to buy something when I should have waited. Look at Zillow listing from when we bought our house a little over a yr ago, so not my furniture or style in the pics. 2522 Holly Laurel Manor Conroe TX, and you can see the paint color and cabinets. We haven’t painted anything but a bathroom so far …. I can send pics of my interior look, but it’s pretty eclectic I guess and my husband is very traditional or trendy and matchy matchy, which is my least favorite thing. 😜
I like Banana Republic clothing and was surprised to see that they now have home decor. At first, I didn't think this would work, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I actually love their home decor and furniture. I purchased our marble coffee table and two of our side tables. The quality is excellent! I’m a big fan. Also like their clothing!
I’m buying a very small old home on Long Island and I have no budget for a reno at the moment. I’m sure I can you use your help with trying to make the space functional as well as aesthetically pleasing.
The photos you shared were gorgeous! You being an artist sets you apart in interior design in the inspirational photos you source as well as how you decorate.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Melanie 💙 I appreciate you noticing the care that goes into each image. Big, big hugs babe 🤗

Love Delfts blue porcelain 💙 the blue is gorgeous. That will look lovely with your sofa, Grady and pulling color from the books is a great idea too.
00:01-00:22. The opening and musical interlude were beautiful, inspiring, and fun🎉
Thank you so much 😘❤️🤗
Love this. I didn't think I would like Indigo but it looks so beautiful together.
Still looking for rugs!
