Thanks for the walk through. I use the first one. In denmark they're called EZ snap. Only problem is that it snaps open if it hits any "bumps" on the road or a corner of a wall. And i actually ude the JG on both sides of my Uni-valve, in case it breaks down, i can replace it quickly, or if i need jo change hose. And of course JG on the brush
That is the best information I've seen on connections I've watched lots of videos on UA-cam about water feed poles an all the in an outs but never found any information about connecting a half inch hose standard garden hose to a water feed pole so from half insh to 6mm or 8mm You see all the videos only showing 6mm or 8mm on poles run from pumps I want to buy my own pole either ova8 or Gardiner slx not as a business but more to do with owning a large property and wanting to do my own windows and faciers in the long run a good set up will pay for its self over the years but I was unsure about the water supply part as I've only seen poles run off 6mm or 8mm directly run from pumps with in a van never from a garden hose
H James Im not sure how much research you have done into the water purification part of water fed pole window cleaning. I only use tape water to clean UPVC or conservatory roofs as the water isn't pure enough to do glass without leaving water marks. If you would like me to walk you through what you need to consider feel free to drop me an email squeakycleandave@gmail.com or give me a call 07956222348
Thanks Dave, great information in that video. Maybe there's an idea for some company, too sell a small kit ,with all those options you have shown us . Hope you get a bit of sunshine on your break. Cheers again 👍
I am impressed of your videos ! 07:32 I worked severall years with those hose connectors, but the problem is that the metal claws inside the fitting are getting worn because you are alway streching the hose and these claws are not made for it. I´m currently looking for another solution and so far I really like those one at 0:45. Have to try them
Up until now I’ve just dragged my pump to hose real pipe hanging out the back door, but of course this has security risks of having my equipment stolen. do you have any videos or can you give me advice so I can have the hose running from underneath the van with the doors locked? Thanks very much in advance.
Hi dave using univalve with 6mm reel hose and joined together with multiplex pole hose with a rectus 21 in middle Problem is I am getting kinks in Hose what am I doing wrong to make this keep happening A bit of a pain when extending pole What advise could you give me
It's hard to say without actually seeing it but if you want to send me a little video or some photos I will take a look and see if I can work out the problem. squeakycleandave@gmail.com
What would you suggest would be the best way of joining two pieces of microbore together? Really annoys me having to throw away so much hose when a small part of it wears thin and bursts. Finding something to join the hose that can cope with being dragged over the ground day after day without snagging or wearing out or simply failing from something driving over it I've found challenging
@@squeakycleandave1 yeah tried that.... Sheared in half. I think stainless steel is stronger than brass. But the ears from the orings snag on every little thing.... Pull on em enough times and they begin to open up and leak
This video has been awsome for me setting up my system. Thanks a bunch Dave, your vids are awsome.

Dave! you're a braver man than me taking window cleaning stuff on hols 🤣🤣🤣 Tenby is a nice place, dont forget to go seal spotting along the coast 👍👍
We did see a dolphin not far from the lifeboat station but the only seals I saw were on the fittings 👍

Thank you Dave. Personally detest those slip connectors , a real horrible bulky leaky connection. I'm happy you've been lucky with them though.

I haven't got any videos on it personally but a lot of the suppliers offer rollers to put through the floor
Thanks a lot Dave.
What is it I need to be searching for specifically?
Great video as always mate

Thank you Dave 👍🏼 where did you get the sleeve for the pole hose to John guest fitting from?
If I’ve got the right piece that you mean it’s the Go Tubeless from Exceed Innovation ex-ceedinnovation.co.uk/shop/go-tubeless/go-tubeless-pole-kit/
Thanks for the video, very helpful.
From noel.
Glad it was useful 👍
Hi, where does the black sleeve connector come from please? (8.11 in video) can't find them anywhere. Cheers

This is probably the best but I would use o clips instead of jubilee clips then wrap it in insulation tape

Hello, can I use a 8mm ID for the pole? Does it work and does it have have any benefits?
Hi
Yes can use it If you did you would be able to get a much higher flow rate. The downside is that it would make the pole very heavy
Another great video mate 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Gordon 👍
