If only more people could see choral arrangements like this, they're the hidden jewels of the internet.
Thank you for this lovely performance. What a beautiful choir! Blessings to you, Susan
Not to sound morbid, but this is the piece I want played as the recessional for my funeral
Kevin Glass I had this same thought! Not a morbid thought, it’s a very hopeful message in the song. Now only if I can get this exact choir to do it
@@Hunter-zb7cy That is sort of what that song is for. This one, too. My Piano intro sounds similar to Ms Brunfield's, but I wrote this song 20 years ago.

This choir got it right! The tempo was perfect! If you listen to other choirs who sing this song, they sing it so slow that it becomes a mournful dirge. It looses its power. Rivertree Singers sang it so beautifully!! Bravo!!!
Marvelous! That chord progression at 3:25 just kills me.
I LOVED SINGING THIS SONG OMG STOP I LOVE IT SO MUCH
truly a hidden gem of the choral world💙
A lovely piece, lovingly rendered. Almost a prayer, and wonderful reminder as a beloved family member has hovered on the brink of Home these last weeks. Thank you Susan, and Warren, and Rivertree. Listening oft, finding comfort and peace in the shared Journey.
fundamentalists might be the absolute worst, but their choirs do kinda be poppin
Such a moving piece, and their voices are so beautiful . I'm very excited to be singing this in my choir.
Make sure you listen through the 3:00 mark! :-)
Listening to this brings chorale back to me like it was yesterday! What a life blessing that was!
Rise, oh, fathers rise; let's go meet 'em in the skies.
We will hear the angels singing in that morning.
Oh, I really do believe that, just before the end of time,
We will hear the angels singing in that morning.
Rise, oh, mothers, rise; let's go meet 'em in the skies.
We will hear the angels singing in that morning.
Oh, I really do believe that, just before the end of time,
We will hear the angels singing in that morning.
No Time to tarry here, no time to wait for you,
No Time to tarry here, for I'm on my journey home.
No Time to tarry here, no time to wait for you,
No Time to tarry here, for I'm on my journey home.
Brothers, oh, fare ye well, brothers, oh, fare ye well,
Brothers, oh, fare ye well, for I'm on my journey home.
Sisters, oh, fare ye well, sisters, oh, fare ye well,
Sisters, oh, fare ye well, for I'm on my journey.
Journey home, journey home, on my journey home
Rise, oh, fathers, we will hear the angels singing in that morning.
Journey home, journey home, oh, fathers. Hear them singing, on my journey home.
Rise, oh, fathers, we will hear the angels singing in that morning.
No time, no time, no time, for I'm on my journey home.
No time to tarry here, no time to wait for you,
No time to tarry here, for I'm on my journey home.
No time to tarry here, no time to wait for you.
No time, for I'm on my journey home, Lord.
Oh, no time, Rise, oh, fathers, rise.
On my journey home, Lord.
Oh, no time, for I'm on my journey home
Oh, I really do believe that, just before the end of time,
We will hear the angels singing in that morning.
No Time to wait for you (or pray for you from the Methodist camp meetings)
SATB arranged by Susan Brumfield
I wish there were more comments so i can read while i listen
Okay, here is another comment. Excellent dynamics, tone evenness, consonant clipping. Beautiful!
I did this my senior year of high school, those were the good old days
I’ve worked with this conductor as a high school student, and no doubt they must have learned this song in like a week (I learned and performed it in two hours with him). He teaches FAST. But he’s amazing
We did this song in the fall. Best recording I’ve found that captures the spirit of the song.
What about the version in the UA-cam channel USSshowtimes? The HHS advanced women's choir. I thought they also performed well.
Wow. Brings me to tears. What a beautiful sound this choir has. Thank you!!
How can the crowd possibly look that bored!
My choir is working on this right now but arranged by someone else.
Absolutely amazing!
I am going to sing this song in the summer!
That was beautiful! Everyone was so together, and their tone gave me goosebumps! There was some bits near the end where the Sopranos really overpowered the other parts, but altogether still excellently done!
I heard the Los Angeles Master Chorale sing this song (No Time) today for the first time. When it was over, I whispered to my daughter that is was the most arrestingly beautiful chorale song I’d ever heard. I’d never heard it before today.
Very Beautiful ! Thank you
This sounds like an SCP
Lindo ❤❤
I've listened to so many choirs sing this song; this is the best out of all I've listened to 😊
Have you by chance heard the HHS advanced womens choir version? Also pretty good.
Nice one
So lovely!
Poor dog I liked my own commet how sad.
