SPOILER STUFF, stop reading: Seeing Shine advance was so heartwarming. I cannot believe he didn't completely lose his shit, because you could definitely see that man really starting to tear up. And for fuck's sake I cannot stop to love Flash. I still have his Vod against Bisu where he cheesed the hell out of that game saved on my compy, and he put his mark on the game, and then just became God thereafter. Such a great group. Best games. Seeing BW in English, is so magical. I have been watching these Vods for years, not knowing a damn word of Korean. I adore the ASL. This is AMAZING.
that fucking tvz was incredible... WOW flash is just so good i dont think people understand.. no other terran in the world is as good as he. i think that hyun beats pretty much any terran with this strategy.
Yeah he's my favorite player of all time, he was taking beating(drops) like a boss managing shutting down Hyuns bases at the same time. When i saw this group i already was expecting Flash wrecking zergs xD
Hyun's strategy was perfect, his execution wasn't. He needed to protect his islands more. Flash noticed the Scourge and flew around them in a path Hyun didn't expect.
Hyun had multiple times the chance to defend an actual expo with or without nydus. It's not like Flash had maphacks to kill the drone or something, it's just that hyun was never prepared to turtle his acquired bases.
I am just jumping into this asl thing this week after quiting sc2 after HOTS, so when they say in the video to check out thier gsl channel do i still need to do that at this point? thx in advance
I love this group just for the way that Flash made tvz in an art form in these two matches. Not meaning to undersell these Zerg either. Those off the wall strats gotta be respected, win or lose.
Im a flash fan, but tvz is so boring, he always do the same. Wheres the fun? Show us some nuke or early vulture drop, watching him play lately is boring. If wining in sc1 is doing always the same, for a new player is not a fun game to enter, isnt?
I know its very hard, i was a C player on iccup, my point is that 5rax opening, then, transition to mech is sooo boring to watch, i watch that like 1000 times. .If im a top SC1 player i re-think being a programer, i mean, where is the creativity? thats my point, not fun!
But he did straight up SK terran in game 1, pure bio+vessels ?? I was personally very excited to see that as I feel like that's a sign that the skill level is reaching the same heights again that it used to be at (my feeling is that mech is easier to play). I'm still waiting to see the zergs do some of the good old 2 hatch and 3 hatch muta, personally I haven't felt like zerg players have proven their mutalisk micro to be up to what it used to be. I think it's important to have 2/3 hatch muta as something terrans have to fear and prepare for.
Good point. Overall i think the golden era of SC1 was 2005/2006. Where savior for example make popular "3 Hatch muta" then lurkers at ramp on the 4th... Then all zergs just copy that. If you want to win you must "do builds", of course, but todays builds are sow few... Back then 2 gate vs terran/zerg for example was doable, players take less risks now. Because mechanical skills leads to victory rather "fun/crazy strategies " leads to failure in professional leagues, thats why slayer boxer eventually get beaten by everybode, because macro came along and build orders are everything now.
1. Flash (T, bottom right) vs Hyun(Z, bottom left) @ 16:00
2. Shine (Z, bottom right) vs ggaemo(Z, bottom left) @ 47:20
3. Winner1 (bottom right) vs Winner2 (top left) @ 1:02:30
Love you for not spoiling... NO Homo intended :D

Music after first game is Defiance - Righteous Vendetta (it slaps!)
flash surely is expecting a TvZ finals either against soulkey or jaedong, that's why he wanted to practice in this round
he chose the players he considered to be weakest of all, and he only chose Zergs because of the imbalance in TvZ
Can you make an "Eraser" with a speed vulture? Or is it to flimsy and/or not actually a mech unit?
I love how the people who select the music always make sure to put songs with "Flash" in them at some point.
If Bisu gets out from group of death and meets Shine and loses that'll be funny.
lol
Guess what happened XD

because you don't know the difficulty of this. go to fish server get 2,000 points and do this to zergs.

I don't think the competition that flash is up against could allow for that kind of cheese, unless they are significantly lower level then you cheese.
