Heh, voice actors do that kind of thing all the time, both in English and Japanese. You should have seen the live stream of Mcree and Winston's voice actors playing Overwatch. Mcree's voice actor yelling "It's high noon!" into the microphone and watching everyone freak out was amazing.
Ono daisuke voices so many intimidating roles but his actual personality is so opposite whenever I listen to these kind of his characters I burst out laughing cus I imagine OnoD going TOTALLY out of his personality. No kidding but seriously the character that matches his personality the best is jyuushimatsu.
Euclase Artist I looked him up on google once and when I saw a picture of him I just couldn't believe that a guy like that could voice one of the most muscular and badass characters in anime hahaha but you're right, he seems so sweet and nice rather than cool and strong, in my opinion :3
