Hey, everyone. Recently, UA-cam demonetized my entire channel for uploading "reused content", despite the fact that I edited both the two Jojo References videos with small comments here and there. Because of this, unfortunately I won't be able to upload a Part 3. But that also means there's a possibility that the jojo videos will have to be deleted (or unlisted if I'm lucky) in the upcoming weeks. I'll consider reuploading them with voice commentary in the future, but don't expect it to be released anytime soon, as I am trying to push more animations and maybe some video essay content later down the line. You're free to archive these videos if you want, and by any means, reupload them if you'd like if the videos are gone. I'd be fine with it as long as me and the content creators linked in the descriptions are credited. Stay tuned to more quality content in the channel, as I have a lot planned. Feel free to give some suggestions on what I should make!

If you pick Speedster and play through their backstory, Cartman says a line before the New Kid uses their ultimate: "But the intruder had made one fatal mistake: he pissed you off." The Speedster's ultimate move, Hyperspace Fury, is also most likely a Jojo reference, considering how much it looks like an ora/muda rush. Ehhhh probably not considering the only jojo things that the west got for the most part were the niche Dubbed ova’s from the 90’s and a dope 2D fighting game, other than that it was pretty much the same status of tatsunoko I’d wager more of it is due to its popularity with memes but also just the anime leading to viz itself making access to all versions of the series (games included) more easily accessible so there are more fans of it now more than ever from all age groups and backgrounds. I’m sayin it all secondhand considering I got into it around 2016, but my first actual recognized exposure of it was the “It was I, Dio” meme. But word of mouth from folks who were actually around in the 80’s and 90’s most people didn’t really know the anime beyond the ova, and even then, those were the more hardcore fans on account of how hard it could be to get there hands on literally any foreign media back then Most of the small group of people outside of it just knew it as “that video game?” Aka heritage for the future Which is wild to think about considering how it parallels its old rival (dragon ball) A lot of the first fans of the series introduction to it was dragon ball GT final bout (the first commonly localized Dragon ball game) where you can here fucking STEVE BLUM as goku 💀
@@NoLifeNoDice right? Didn’t know it at the time til I actually watched the series, but the first kinda official jojo reference I ever saw from the western world was actually the joke dragon ball z abridged made with the character of guldo A whole year or 2 before the anime debuted and before people even knew a jojo anime was coming💀 And the writer behind that joke already explained that and came about it how he knew about jojo through the ova, the fighting game and the ova’s abridged series Kinda giving a quick brief anime history lesson on how he knew about it and what the climate of jojo fandom was like before it blew up and how Americans like him found out about it at allow
2:04 The Lips are the give away. The hard shadow and the fact Araki basically was one of the first to give Men actual full lips (without appearing feminine)
These blew my mind. Especially all of the references in kid’s shows, I don’t imagine JoJos is mainstream enough in the west for anyone whose old enough to have kids to have seen and picked up on them. I don’t imagine the kids would notice either since JoJos is far from a kid friendly show. Crazy how they threw that in there
im sure a lot more games do this, but in the game "lost castle" one of the haircuts you can give your player is giorno's, among other anime haircuts like vegeta's.
In the henry stickmim collection you can also see two characters playing rock paper scissors One of them being the janken kid from part 4 And a fail text references the duwang translation of DIU Saying something along the lines of "Henry really steals? no dignity"
During Completing The Mission's "Distraction Dance", you can also see 3 characters in colored hats start doing a familiar dance. The hats colors are, from left to right, blue, orange, and I believe lime green. A reference to Mista, Narancia, and Fugo's Torture Dance in Vento Aureo
Imagine being someone who was strongarmed into watching Paw Patrol with their kid and having their brain rot, then seeing the scene at 3:14 and being blown away.
Yeah my favorite cartoon used to be adventure time but after amphibia I don’t think I’ll ever be the same and I’ve been watching jojo because a friend recommended it
Yeah you're right. That whole Egypt adventure episode in DuckTales is a huge JoJo reference. The corny bazaar/ bizarre joke was their cherry on top of everything that they already included
The Stardust armor's set bonus was actually a WoW reference, more specifically a reference about Algalon the Observer. The community just felt it similar to a stand, and they decided to embrace it and make its set bonus do the classic barrage of punches.
well tbh, it is standing right behind you, looks a lot like a stand specifically Star Platinum and attacks for you. it sounds really close to a stand so i see why they confused it at first.
During one of the distraction dance scenes in henry stickmin, characters do the torture dance lol. There are other minor references to jojo (like a few members of the toppats having hats that resemble stardust crusaders characters)
and the stickmans doing the torture dance are all named after italian dishes, just like how most of the passione gang is named after italian dishes. (also the la squadra gang)
Genuinely surprised Paw Patrol has a GENUINE Jojo reference. I was looking at it as the clip started and pause and was like "There's no god damn way this is gonna be a real reference, bro has to be reaching here." AND THEN THE KNIGHTS POSED!!!
6:13 If they ever bring _Reference_ back, then they need to make the subs say a synonym for reference in its place. Maybe even multiple! The weird thing is that they gave a localized name to _Time in a Bottle,_ that being _”Bottled Time.”_ Idk. Just think it could be cool.
I like how in the Henry Stickman one RHM says Time In A Bottle but the subtitles call it Bottled Time like what actually happens to the names when they're subbed or dubbed.
I'm pretty sure Henry's Reference is meant to be "Tribute" as a reference to the song Tribute by Tenacious D, but I can't quite tell whether or not Tribute is actually said in RHM's dialogue.
at 1:45 there's more jojo reference... 1-The suit is quite similar to the suit Prosciutto wears (Golden Wind) and Kira Yoshikage (The diamond is Unbreakable) 2- When the guy with the box is talking to the other character it's pretty similar to the scene when Kira is talking to Koichi before he hits him on the ground repeatedly
1:13 also reminds me of okuyasu's brother's stand at the first scenes of it's appearance 5:59 The name is also "tsar platinum" similar to star platinum
@@daftduck7385 Honestly it’s pretty horrible that Duck Tales invented planes crashing, and for what? An intro? Though fr I think the original post here is a joke
There is another reference in the Stickmen Collection that you missed. During the dancing option that makes Henry and the girl(I forgot her name, my bad) distract the whole room with the distraction dance, there are three guys that do the torture dance.
There’s another reference in the Henry stickmen collection where during the distraction flash mob scene, three characters can be seen doing the torture dance from part 5.
What I think would be funny is the unintentional references: Scenes from movies and shows which are similar to scenes in JoJo, most likely by complete coincidence.
There is also a jojo reference in Dead Cells. The weapon is called the Hayabusa Gauntlets which you use to punch your enemies. The flavor text is "UselessUselessUselessUselessUselessUsel..."
There are multiple scenes in centaurworld where the characters faces change artstyles, one of which is a jojo reference. If you do make a part 2, then it should be included.

It's the longest fail scene in the whole game too, which I find hillarious. So much so I made it all playable in Minecraft: ua-cam.com/video/cpUmMB_b-5g/v-deo.html
@@Nova-tl4yc This is not the greatest meme in the world

These references make a lot of sense when you consider that Jojo was around in the 80s and the creators who make these references saw em as kids.
Ehhhh probably not considering the only jojo things that the west got for the most part were the niche Dubbed ova’s from the 90’s and a dope 2D fighting game, other than that it was pretty much the same status of tatsunoko
I’d wager more of it is due to its popularity with memes but also just the anime leading to viz itself making access to all versions of the series (games included) more easily accessible so there are more fans of it now more than ever from all age groups and backgrounds.
I’m sayin it all secondhand considering I got into it around 2016, but my first actual recognized exposure of it was the “It was I, Dio” meme.
But word of mouth from folks who were actually around in the 80’s and 90’s most people didn’t really know the anime beyond the ova, and even then, those were the more hardcore fans on account of how hard it could be to get there hands on literally any foreign media back then
Most of the small group of people outside of it just knew it as “that video game?” Aka heritage for the future
Which is wild to think about considering how it parallels its old rival (dragon ball)
A lot of the first fans of the series introduction to it was dragon ball GT final bout (the first commonly localized Dragon ball game) where you can here fucking STEVE BLUM as goku 💀
I doubt it was that popular in western parts of the world. But it definitely was a huge hut in Japan making it the most referenced manga
@@NoLifeNoDice right? Didn’t know it at the time til I actually watched the series, but the first kinda official jojo reference I ever saw from the western world was actually the joke dragon ball z abridged made with the character of guldo
A whole year or 2 before the anime debuted and before people even knew a jojo anime was coming💀
And the writer behind that joke already explained that and came about it how he knew about jojo through the ova, the fighting game and the ova’s abridged series
Kinda giving a quick brief anime history lesson on how he knew about it and what the climate of jojo fandom was like before it blew up and how Americans like him found out about it at allow
Nah I doubt any normal kid would watch jojo or read jojo at all

No.
0:20 I like how she does Jojo poses then there is Sailor Moon's pose
For DuckTales, crashing the plane is a reference to Joseph and his... less than pleasant flight record.
0:59 the opening is also a reference, also Fake Demencia says ORA, and also Flug implements the Ancient Joestar Secret Technique
And the title pf the episode too
These blew my mind. Especially all of the references in kid’s shows, I don’t imagine JoJos is mainstream enough in the west for anyone whose old enough to have kids to have seen and picked up on them. I don’t imagine the kids would notice either since JoJos is far from a kid friendly show. Crazy how they threw that in there
The paw patrol one was kinda crazy but I can see the other shows mainly because a lot of the new creators of cartoons are heavily inspired by anime
I mean, a kid who was born in 2012 when the Part 1 anime first came out would be 10 now.
Kids show creators often throw in whatever for the fun of it knowing no one but them will get it

Yes lmao, I actually screamed in my mind as I saw this

The fact that the "Menacing frog robot" has this is a jojo reference next to it.
i love how the entire mad dummy fight is basically a love letter to jojos bizarre adventures
Seeing a JoJo reference in Amphibia actually makes me happy, since I love both series , and Amphibia is one of my comfort shows

The Stardust armor's set bonus was actually a WoW reference, more specifically a reference about Algalon the Observer. The community just felt it similar to a stand, and they decided to embrace it and make its set bonus do the classic barrage of punches.
It looked like a Risk of Rain guardian

well tbh, it is standing right behind you, looks a lot like a stand specifically Star Platinum and attacks for you. it sounds really close to a stand so i see why they confused it at first.

I'd also like to mention that the "device" controlling the dogs can also be compared to Dio's flesh buds (stardust crusaders)

If they ever bring _Reference_ back, then they need to make the subs say a synonym for reference in its place. Maybe even multiple!
The weird thing is that they gave a localized name to _Time in a Bottle,_ that being _”Bottled Time.”_
Idk. Just think it could be cool.
Reference was actually the synonym in this case, its actual name is tribute.
3:00 JOJO REFERENCE IN PAW PATROL LOL
Wait, wasn't the Stardust Guardian a WoW reference? But everyone thought its a Jojo reference so the Devs said "fuck it its a jojo reference"

I like how in the Henry Stickman one RHM says Time In A Bottle but the subtitles call it Bottled Time like what actually happens to the names when they're subbed or dubbed.
It's also a reference to a banger too
I'm pretty sure Henry's Reference is meant to be "Tribute" as a reference to the song Tribute by Tenacious D, but I can't quite tell whether or not Tribute is actually said in RHM's dialogue.
And it’s a reference to one of my favorite songs ever!!
