Every time, I am surprised, what we still have left of the past. No matter which shape or form. A lot of the historical patterns are truly mesmerizing 🥰
Hi my favorite vintage crocheter. This cape is absolutely beautiful. You amaze me on how you can just read these patterns with no pics and your work is so beautiful. Thanks for all you do.
Just seeing this for the first time and think it's super sweet of you that you give away your beautiful crochet work. Have you ever considered doing an auction for an item? It might help you fundraise for supplies and if you don't want the money, you could always donate it to a favorite charity. I think you might be pleasantly surprised by how much attention/support people would give for your beautiful work.
These are all so beautiful, it’s sad we don’t really see this stuff anymore. I’m REALLY glad to see there is a community of people keeping fiber art’s alive. You always have the nicest yarn! I wanted to try that yarn, I have some bamboo/cotton yarn that I’m going to make a shawl from I just need to decide what pattern!! 😂😂😂😂 How does anybody decide?!?!
Hi! Ladies in Europe and other countries use a cigarette lighter to go over the edge of the ribbon to seal the edges. You can use a tea candle, get close to the flame, and voilà! Better and faster than nail polish. I subscribed to your channel. I find your tutorials very helpful. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
I have trouble with posts so I appreciate you taking the time to really point out where we’re supposed to be stitching. Super helpful. I LOVE the color combination!! ❤
Oh my goodness, I have been looking for months for a cape or shawl for my wedding dress!! This is just what I have been looking for! Thank you so much!!
Yes ma’am Millie looked stunning in this! Well done. Especially like your color choices in yarn/ribbon. Merlin 🧙♂️ Is lovely and I appreciated his support during the group effort at end 🐾 🧡
What's old again is new again. I just love it. This would be great for anyone in a wheelchair or for someone who is sitting a lot. It wouldn't get in the way of arm movement or buckle in the back sitting in a chair most of the day. I will be making this one for sure for my mother without the ribbons almost like a bed jacket. Thank you for another one to add to my list. Love it!
You are totally amazing!! To put so much time and brain/hand effort into these patterns and then give them away to your viewers. There is no way we could love you as much as you love us. You and wonderful and whoever the lucky winner is- I hope they appreciate this!
Love watching your creations. Such patience and passion! The item came out beautiful. I appreciate the fact that you explain everything so well so that following along is easy 😊
I just love watching this channel and getting to see the beautiful patterns that come back to life from many years of being forgotten. Thank you for taking on these wonderful patterns and sharing your time and stories with the community. Good luck to all who have entered. 😊
Thanks for bringing these absolute Beauts of patterns back! I feel like you should know, that you are the Only crocheter/knitter/crafter, where I will just watch your videos without specifically seeking out a project to do or looking for help with a project that I'm working on. This video is a great example of that, I just watched how this piece came together. Although, I have made a few of the patterns you've posted. Thanks for being you doll and for bringing the history of crochet back to our modern lives❤
