A true story to lighten the mood, I used to live in Cardiff and a few months before Watkins got arrested I was in a nightclub called Bogiez (which was the local rock club). Also in there was a guy called Magzy who played guitar for a few of the local hardcore bands. Watkins walks in and then out of no where a slightly inebriated Magzy lunges for and beats down Watkins. A few years later we joked/theorized that Magzy had a premonition of what Ian had done so got his shots in early.
What was up with the escort who unveiled his plans? She said she’d spent numerous times with him where he’d discuss his plans but then suddenly decided to go to the authorities. It seemed she was somewhat complicit and possibly his handler.
@LiClan she signed a NDA and took a pay off all Watkins barrister would have to say is "we have a signed retraction of her previous statements", what she was saying might have been true BUT she made herself a unreliable witness in the eyes of the cps.
