Sure. If it's unable to scan, it indicates that there's lack of stable satellite signal. So let someone check the satellite dish to get you the signal.
It's not available on every Zapper HD decoder currently. It's only On DStv Explora Decoders. It's DStv new upgrade, I can't confirm if it will be back or not.

The signal is not enough for all the channels to work. Get some few numbers on top of the current signal quality percentage
