Sorry man, maybe I missed it..., but I have one of the first PVR decoders and recently bought a small HD decoder (Model 8s)...For extra view, what are the settings on the primary and secondary decoder? I get the same E143-0 error message... Thanks

Hello I experienced it yesterday for sure even E16 on secondary Decoder
You need to check the distance from the primary Decoder to the secondary Decoder, it shouldn't be more than 30meters, most Decoders only 7meters is required. They don't want customers to share in different houses. So check the decoder type, not all Decoders are extra-view capable, check your cable connections, check the user Band if you're using a smart LNB and call Dstv office for activation. They have the overall power to make it work. ❤️

Good day. So my primary decoder is a DStv explorer and my secondary decoder is zapa hd. I watched the video and I realized that the figures ( 11:05 ) are already instated on my TV so there would be no need to change them right? What do you think is the problem?

You will change the LNB type from Universal only when you're using a Unicable LNB ( DStv smart LNB or Smart switch )
Hi ,I was using the explorer as my primary and the HD secondary. I broke the xtraview to use them separately but both decoders after subscribing are not working. The Hd is showing E143 while the explorer is showing E30-16 pls help
Reset the Decoders to Factory Defaults and Scan. E30 error means your subscription have not yet been confirmed. So reset the decoder and call Dstv. If there's no positive outcome, download MyDstv App, add the account details and select FIX Error.
What if I'm using a universal lnb paired with a multi switch

Bro I've been experiencing the same problem, the communication status on my primary coda is not stable. it's always idle and it changes to heatbeat sent for about 5seconds and changes back to idle what should I do to get the communication status stable?
Get some additional signal Quality from the Satellite dish. Make sure the primary Decoder is working perfectly.

Hello my brother, I connected everything very well am using the explora (primary) and DStv Hd model 4s(secondary) I even called DStv everything went well...I was watching extra view for the past 5 months until today when I have started experiencing error 143-4...I called DStv they resent the signal command but am still experiencing the same, I called them again they said I should use the RF out (primary) and RF in (secondary) it worked after that I removed the cable...it continued working but after sometime again the error came...Now what can be the lasting solution to this error 143-4 which says there's no communication between the primary and secondary decoder without using the cable which links them(RF out and RF in) but using a smart LNB... please help
Get a smart LNB if possible
@@pbtecknology Bro in short you are saying the smart LNB am using now may have a problem right?
If the Smart LNB is old enough, it loses some signal strength. If you're trying hard with the smart LNB, add a Diplexer to the smart LNB. But make sure the problem is from your end. Because even if all your connections are right, you can't force it to work without the power of DStv.

I disconnected my extra view since then have been getting this response. Do i apply this same method to fix it?

If you know everything is well connected at your side, and you're using 2 extra view capable decoders, call Dstv office for the activation. You can't force it to work if there's no activation from their side. So give them pressure
Hello, I'm currently facing the same issue i.e 2 zapper decorder and 2 combiners with dstv confirmed active extraview subscription.

How do I clear the E143-4 on extra view at a different location from my primary decoder?
Following this process will work in every location, you just have to select the right satellite in your Zone.

The problem I'm having is that the primary decorder is working but the secondary shows E143-0
When i call office they reset the secondary decoder and it worked but now its still shows the E143-0 error code
I don't know what to do about it

Kindly go to ur heartbeat connection and change the connection of the cable
Cables leading to the two decorders should be on the (o/I) input on the disect
Cables leading to the dish should be on the (sat) on the disect
Then the one for your heart beat that connects the two disects (ant)
