Thanks man, cool product and great video. As for the product, since pretty much every single Model Y that has ever been made has exactly the same frunk, why would anyone want to have to cut that light strip? I think it should be a perfect fit from the factory. I would wait to see if Hanshow does this sometime... or buy something else. Having to cut that light strip is shoddy manufacturing in my opinion.... just lazy.
The picture on the Hansshow link is showing what looks like an additional cable that attaches to the battery, is that an old pic maybe? Could you list the model/part # so when I order I get the right version? Thanks
@@en3rgy187 hey man, i just want to know the seller of this floor mat installed in this Tesla because i like it and i can't find the seller on the net. there is nothing extraordinary about this question. I am neither incorrect nor anything negative or insulting. I just want to know the address where to buy this floor mat, so yes, indeed, I am off topic, but nothing dramatic either. I just want information. Thanks.
So i installed it.. and i recorded using time lapse video on my phone and recorded for five minutes. The frunk led stayed on for the entire time. Suspect this will increase the amount of lost power leaving the light on all the time.
Even if you leave Frunk open it will turn off if no one in car after car goes to sleep after about 20-30 mins then you have to manually close the Frunk to reset
Hi, I'm a french futur owner Tesla, can you give me the link where you bought your mats with the red edge. Thank you very much.
I’m interested too
They're the mats from Autotailor, from USA
There used to need a ground also I believe. No longer?
you should if the one you bought has provided that for safety
I just installed the wxtra
Can you still use the emergency latch after installing the light?
I would have used the extra bit too, put it below the button.

Does the light turn off when frunk is closed?

does the Light always stay on or does it go off when the frunk is closed?
@@Matte_olo no, doesn’t stay on after close it will turn off in under 10 mins after car locks or go to sleep. While in drive it will remain on.
after in drive for about few mins it will turn off too it only remains on after open and close once close should turn off in drive after few mins.
Even if you leave Frunk open it will turn off if no one in car after car goes to sleep after about 20-30 mins then you have to manually close the Frunk to reset
Does this work for the Model X?
Just check the voltage. If it's the same it should be fine.
