I’ve always known Matt is a talented man, but tapping wheels to remove them is next level! 👍🏼
This literally broke yesterday. This is a GREAT video. Many thanks.
As Model S owner, good to know. Many thanks!
@cleggbrendan Thanks and stay tuned for the next one!
To replace rear arm you need to drop battery pack off 😂
Excellent, many thanks. Looking forward to the next one!
@davidharvey5161 You're very welcome😊
I have a 2014 model s and they say to replace both the front and rear control arms due to them breaking. Tesla wont pay even though they know they keep breaking. Which ones (front or back) do you recommend replacing first. Which seems to break more often?
Thanks for any info.
@DelphiTechnologies The replacement part doesn't appear to be any stronger than the weak OEM part. What has been improved to prevent a future break in the same place?
Thank you for this great video
@johnthomas77704 glad you enjoyed it! 😊
awesome videos!
Plans this weekend...
Thanks for the video!
Thanks @miketriesmotorsports6080 ! Let us know how it goes 🙂
@@DelphiTechnologies Easy peasy. Sway bar end links and a pair of aft front lower control arms installed. Thanks for the video, guys!
Which models guys? And does the bush bolt have to be tightened wheels loaded to prevent the bush ripping under compression. ..? (Yes it does)
How did you suddenly have a witness mark at 5:19, with your brand new bolt now being installed the other way round...?
Hi could you please tell us what to torque the nuts? Thanks you gor the video
any alternative store for that kind of Tesla parts?
Do you guys repair Tesla ? Where are you located?
Could you put links for where we can buy oem suspension for the model s.
Great video. I have this issue. Will help me with the work
Hi @AdrianMcDaid, glad you liked the video! We're here to help. Feel free to ask if you have any questions🙂
@@DelphiTechnologies I actually have not looked yet to see if you have video But I know there are number suspension components at the rear of mine that need to be replaced.
all 4 of my axle nuts where hand tight! model s 85d 165,000miles
What size sockets and wrench’s am I going to need to do this myself?
A standard set of spanners, ratchet spanners, and sockets covering up to 22mm should cover the job. Don’t forget You can create a free account at service.tesla.com to view the step by step instructions for this task. Thanks!
HI, is your replacement part has reinforced failure points ?
Hi @Paulf3353, our lower arms match the latest revision Tesla part number. When Tesla made this revision to the OE part, our engineering team matched this later revision. Many thanks, Delphi Technical Team
Where can I get this bolt from.
Which one is this . If any one have link to buy please share.
Kind regards
Hi @snehalpatel534, the replacement bolt comes with the new Delphi lower arm, it is not a part we supply separately. Many thanks, Delphi Technical Team
Got replaced the lower arms by Tesla on the driver’s side of my MX 5 months ago. Now they’re squeaking as hell. Really bad quality…
👍

those parts look brittle
Hi @propanbutan4634 the Delphi lower arms have been designed to match the latest OE Tesla engineering design matching part number variation ‘B’ suffix.
And the oem ones from a brand new car that failed weren't? Lol
Tesla? Even for bmw your control arms lasted only for 15000km. Very poor quality. Tesla is huge weighty car.
Hi @vano.abesadze sorry to hear you have had issues with your BMW parts. Can you let us know which country you are from, and we can put you in touch with the local technical team to assist.
