For a lamp in your cabinet, they have battery operated or remote light bulbs that you can screw into the lamp. Then you don't have to cut a hole in your cabinet.
Organising your stuff in a temporary space is a good exercise. You will be able to determine what your storage needs are and build them into your main bathroom. I did a major declutter two years ago. My family all have a penchant disorganised drawers. Every drawer in the house contains everything. I used baskets / containers in every drawer and designated drawers for like items. I now have batteries in one drawer, tech cables and plugs in another. My sewing supplies are all organised by type. It is so much better. And less stress. I know where things are. I like your bathroom - I am not a "brown" person but the brown works in your space.

Everything looks so nice. I personally like storage boxes that can be remove not built in. Easier for cleaning. Your hard work is sure paying off.
The samples would be nice to have in the guest bath when it is an actual guest bath. A nice treat for someone.
Hey, how about using the drawer dividers in the right drawer parallel to the front? They should fit from the box to the side and would give the opportunity for further division for the hair products for example. Love the bathroom

MaCenna! Can we talk about windows?! I did it!! I started to restore the old windows in our barn! O…M…G!! I’m in love!! I’ve only done 2 so far, but they are beautiful!! And I did them myself! I feel like a super hero! Haha!! Now I look at all the other things on the barn (doors, etc.) and think I can fix those up too! It’s so crazy how it completely transforms the exterior of the whole structure. ❤️😁 Thanks for inspiring me to tackle this project!

Great organizing. I love the hamper with the bent handles. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
I agree! I needed and found a round one for my laundry room and I too was worried about the bottom scratching the flooring. I tried the felt you put on yours and although they did work; unfortunately it was very temporary as the did not want to stay adhered to the metal sides. My fix was to take a remnant piece of indoor/outdoor carpet and trace the bottom of my basket.
Then I just glued it to the bottom. It does not show at all unless you pick it up and turn it over, but it is definitely more permanent than the felt I had tried first. My hubby told me we could put casters (wheels) on it by adding a small piece of luan glued to the bottom of the wire basket and then screwing the casters into the luan (and I loved that idea); however, when we do build our forever home I’m hoping to figure out another use for this round metal laundry basket with the linen liner so I did not want to add the casters now thinking it would be more versatile without the casters. (Like maybe putting in the living room or guest bedroom to place an extra blanket or throw in). Just thought I’d share my experience in case your felt protectors fall off like mine.

And lastly, I’m sure others have told you this, but I wanted to also…I am getting so many ideas from your renovation of this house and adding them to my notebook for my forever home so when we start the floor planning I will not leave out anything (i.e. like planning for electrical outlets for Christmas decorating or outlets for electronics above the fireplace, etc.)

I love everything so far you have done! My dream is to buy some land and do a smaller house, a garden and some animals. I never appreciated living in the country years ago but so ready to now. I know the dream to have to have a big beautiful house close to everything was of my past, I’m tired of no privacy with my neighbors five foot away. Plus all I do is clean and organize. Don’t get me wrong I’m very appreciative of what we have but I just want to live a more simple and minimal life now that I’m hitting my 50’s.

What you could put on the bottom of the laundry baskets is to get moleskin with the sticky backing. Or use a hot glue gun to put a thin beading alone the edges. Just a thought.

for the brightroom collection organizers you're looking for the draws are in the bathroom organization aisle. I know random, but that where I found them to organize my husbands draws at work. I that helps for the future 😊
Noticed the tampons in your bathroom organization, giirrl if you haven't tried a diva cup or menstrual cup, it's life changing! Saves you so much money, better for the environment, and makes periods so much less stressful. Just thought I'd pass that along :)

Something I was taught is to hold hammering things like hammers and mallets etc towards the bottom of the handle not close to the top that way you have more power and swing

MaCenna, these dividers that you didn't use you can put sideways in the other drawer, just not from side to side but from one side of the drawer to the organiser that is in that drawer

The guest bathroom is to die for. That tub " I'm envious " My first home had a cast-iron claw foot tub. Nothing like soaking the aches and pains in. I could just lay back and soak in a hot tub. The room is stunning.😍 🛁

It is so gratifying organizing things! I just spent a week on my linen closet where I store my lotions, nail polish, etc. in addition to towels. I too forget about things if I don't see them. I forgot to mention in the last video that I love the bathroom curtains-beautiful fabric. They bring some personality to the bathroom. It was a blessing in disguise that that handles wouldn't cut off the laundry baskets so you could bend them and still use them for lifting. I think some wicker baskets instead under the cabinet would add some texture and be pretty. You could still use the other ones elsewhere in the house. Just my 2 cents worth as it is your home, not mine. You do such awesome work!

Hello San Antonio here, just an FYI. If you need any more storage boxes get them now. People are getting ready to ship their kids off to college in the middle of August and supplies are running low. Also the weekend of Aug 5-8 is a no tax weekend on supplies for school shoes, clothes, and other items. Look up tax free weekend in Texas for more info. you may save a buck or two.
You were asking last video if you should keep the bathroom cabnet open or shut. Fluted glass would look beautiful with the antique detailing you have going on!
