You can actually legally claim further losses on the same product year after year if you don't liquidate and value continues to depreciate.
documentation of distruction is the standard
Honestly when I first saw metazoo my thought was, “that is dogshit art. No way it lives much longer than a meme.”
I want some of that MetaZoo, but not for the prices they’re going for. Nobody plays it around my area. I just collect. I love cards and their artwork. Anyone that has any for sale let me know, anything unopened. I will buy singles but it has to be a great price and in very good shape, NM at minimum.
Wow almost as if investing in the NFT of trading cards was a bad idea 🤔
Dude deserved every part of this loss… SMH
I can’t be the only one who has never heard of MetaZoo until I found this channel.
RUDY'S HUGE BAGS ALWAYS GET MY UPVOTE
I like the art and theme, plus the game always looked to be dumb fun. Buying product to crack and have fun with.
Umu is buying it all up. Beware Ruby.
Scalping is killing games.
Finally some loss porn. CCG peeps never show their losses and it's no fun.
How is it a tax loss if it’s unrealized loss?
Yes you can write of unsold inventory as a business expense
Creative accounting
Tax accountant here. Yes you can write down inventory. You can value it at the "lower of cost or market." Look it up if you don't believe me. Form 1125-A Line 9a.
@fsmoura when he does his accounting, he can reevaluate the price of all his Metazoo at the current market value, so he will get a write off without selling anything 🧏♂️
I thought the max is 3000$ in the US..
Not that i care
SELL ME SOME WOW COLLECTOR BOXES
if anything it makes me more interested in the game now that there are no more new cards coming out, but to be honest never even heard of the game.
I can't speak to speculating and collectors, but my youngest son and his friends love playing and collecting MetaZoo.
Let me know on them clearance prices, lol.
Such a shame i had hope for this game
I've been buying up all the MetaZoo I can get my hands on. I absolutely love it!
Stop... before you hurt a family member or close friend.
Hey Rudy, do you keep in touch with Andy“power 9 quest”? I believe he was deep in Metazoo and was doing some collab work with them. I hope he didn’t get burned too bad in this collapse.
Is it really a loss if they paid you in boxes to shill their garbage product
show us what that process looks like when claiming a tax loss on inventory that loses value
People FINALLY like Metazoo cause MIKE is finally gone.
Nice of Rudy to show us 1/10th of his Metazoo holdings! But seriously, condolences on the losses
Is that the first cut in any Rudy video?
Found out about metazoo like a week ago. Looks super cool. Nobody here knows anything about metazoo. Do you try to sell them ? I am looking for some Boxes to buy to play the game 😊
by all accounts the game is absolute garbage and not worth playing. like genuinely it was not made to be fun to play at all, more so for people like rudy to buy shit tons and then sell in the future for profit. which fortunately has not happened.
@@Binzob I never learned how to play it myself, but all the people I saw playing at Dark Tower seemed to be having a blast.
Sell me all of it for $2000 dollars 😂
...why not buy the IP Rudy, and do it right?
