- This project ( Fear of silence ) will be be longest short film to date. I had a goal this year to shoot a short film of myself. Working with this story and being creative has been such an adventure. Here's what I'm learning so far, Enjoy!

I have a suggestion! Maybe start the short film with a TON of overlapping noises and sources. Really show just how much you’re making your mind busy with constant noise around you??

Just came across your channel today. Not sure how I got here but your style and open honesty is fresh and engaging. Looks like you may be editing on Adobe Premiere Pro. I did for over 10 years and just got tired of the Creative Cloud subscription. Jumped to DaVinci Resolve two years ago - much better. I just got my BMPCC4K in January, rigged it out, and trying to blend it in with my Sony work flow I have used for 15 years. CInema camera work is more challenging. I'll be back checking on you. Keep filming.

Some lovely shots man. How are you finding the 4k with the low light? See you have lots of dark shots in this so interested! I have a muscle roller that I use for focus when I'm shooting myself - put that where I'm going to be and then focus on that. I also try and open up the aperture a bit so that I'm not shooting crazy wide open and that helps keep things in focus. Loving this journey so thanks for the inspiration.
Sorry I’m just having time to reply, so for low light it’s nothing like the Sony cameras that can shoot and 12000 iso but I find often as long as their is some light to work with, either natural light or just any light that I can get a good image in low light situations. If it’s low light I try to shot 1250 iso and will go up as far as 3200 if I have to. But for me it’s been great

Man thanks so much ! I’m actually making a working on a video right now that’s all about filming yourself in the 4K. I’ll make sure to include the shot laying down. I used a tripod for it.

I'm doing a similar short film about loneliness and also using myself as the talent, so I feel you when you say that you struggle getting the shots right!

Love what you have so far I am finding myself in a similar situation of having to put myself in front of the camera instead of depending on other people. And I would and am sure others would too love to see how to set up your shots
