My take from real estate experiences over 20 years: 1. Clean and declutter trumps an empty every time in selling a house. Talk to your agent. 2. People expect you to be moving. It’s ok to be packing into a garage and have the house on the market. The people who are purchasing May want your riding lawnmower. Things you typically use to do your maintenance are often desirable to the new owner. 3. Do know your social security rules. I recently read about a couple who really messed up theirs while living abroad.
We’ve been looking into the rules - there is some impact if hubby also collects CPP. Right now the thought is to work less than full time but not retire for a few more years. Thanks for watching!!
Hello...🎉...Sending peace & serenity your way. I can only imagine how stressful this must all be. Glad it's not me, but I def. don't mind listening as you process and all the while we know you will get there...one day at a time! ❤ TY for sharing your life w/us Daphne. Much appreciated.
It's kind of nice to hear you talk about all the stress and thoughts about the move. Me and my hubby is also in the process of selling out home and buying a new one - and its very stressful for us and we're only moving to a bigger place within the same area 😅
If you need to take a break from the channel and diamond painting to focus on moving go for it. We will still be here. I can't imagine doing a youtube channel trying to please the youtube gods and also getting ready to move to another country basically.
Libraries often take books if their Friends groups host book sales for fund raising. The library I worked at for 22 years (until I retired in January) has a Friends of the Library group that has 3 book sales a year to raise funds to support programs at the library.
Wow, that is a lot going on. I think at this point it is best to just rip off the bandaid, pack up, move and figure the rest out on the other end. Save all your receipts when you move, I would think you’d be able to use those come tax time next year.
I don’t hear the neighbor’s dog at all on the video. I keep thinking I’ll fill out a form for your random act of kindness bc it’s such a nice idea, but somehow I haven’t managed it yet. I really like the Jasper Sea! I don’t think I’d ever consider choosing it before.
Check the local library, even if they do not put them at a location, most usually have a place for people to pick up free books and you know they are readers since they are a the library. Also we have a non-profit animal rescue group that does sales to gain donations, they did a book one and raised lots of money, they may even be able to come pick up. Just give them a call or email, the worst they could say is no and then you won't have to drive from place to place. Diamond painting is supposed to be relaxing not pressure, take your time and enjoy the process. When you finish in whatever month it is the result will be the same, a beautiful piece. 😊
This may sound a little weird but and I'm not even sure how you do it. But your local jails they may need book donations. They will definitely use them. So if you have any left over maybe make a quick call to one of them and see if there's a way that you can do it. I don't know if there is any type of protocol for that I have no idea but I know that they don't have much to do but read in there LOL so I would assume they would take donations
I’ve decided diamond painters are a unique bunch. I wish you happiness.
Always happy to listen to you ramble 😊
Thank you!!
You certainly have a lot on your plate..happy to listen..❤❤
Thanks for watching!!

Just sharing about the stress is helpful! 😂 Thanks for watching!!

Moving anywhere is super stressful!! Thanks for watching!!

If it becomes too much, I will certainly reassess, but for now, it's all good. I just need more hours in the day! 😂
Busy girl! I didn’t get The Jetsons, but I loved that show growing up. I did cave on Bountiful Voyage though 🌊
The Jetsons were one of my faves too!!
Hi! You can donate books to the library. Great chat🥰🥰
Thanks for watching!!

Good to know! Thanks for sharing!!
I feel your pain Daphne, we moved from one province to another a year and a half ago. We sold our old house at Christmas time and it was so crazy!
I think moving is always crazy, no matter when it is!! Thanks for watching!!
I’m glad I’m not the only one bummed about Astro. It was one of the main factors in my decision not to buy it. But it is on my wishlist
I’m hoping maybe they will do some individual character ones? We’ll see. Thanks for watching!!

That’s kind of where I’m at - if we keep getting bogged down in all the details, we’ll never get there! Thanks for watching!!
Bella Art is doing a drop this coming Saturday and I’m so excited 🎉🎉
Me too!
Ooff. Hang in there!
It’s a process, so we are just trying to focus on one thing at a time. Thanks for watching!!

I love the abstract look of it! Thanks for watching!!

There are a couple of ‘little lending library’ places around our area - I thought about dropping some there as well. Thanks for watching!!

Oh, that's an interesting thought. I will check it out! Thanks for sharing!!
May I ask why are you spot dotting instead of doing the same code until an area if complete?
Is complete instead of if!
I am adding in some random ABs of that color. I will go back and fill in the rest of the area with regular 310. Thanks for watching!!
Life is too short not to spend time with love ones. You should spend as much time as possible
Yes, exactly! Thanks for watching!!
Yep, it's getting real! If you have more books, maybe a relief shelter would love to have them. Have a blessed and productive week, sweetie! ❤❤❤
I will check! Thanks for watching!!
Paint on the wall after time will never match the original paint color/chip.
Paint fades over time. Places in direct sunlight will fade quicker.
Yep, but I was hoping to get lucky and find a lighter shade that matched so we don't have to repaint the entire upstairs. 😅 Thanks for watching!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous I understand that hope. (My ex is a professional painter so I have tons of useless interior painting knowledge.)
@@IfersInklings Maybe we’ll be like that Behr commercial and just use some strategic furniture placement. 😂
Your pens almost get lost there on the artwork 😮
They do! Thanks for watching!!
