    I’m more than a week behind catching up on the people I follow on YT. Thanks for the Lloyd Alexander book suggestion. I’m going to check him out. I thought I was a “putty only” person for my multiplacer, but I recently discovered Dream Wax Studio on Etsy. They’re based in Canada and their wax works amazing in the DAC thin multiplacers. It scrapes and molds easily but isn’t flaky or too soft either. I can use it for multiple diamond painting sessions, ABs, and it doesn’t pull off coating or leave residue on my drills. Oh, my heart melted hearing that you got to see John Denver in person. He was an amazing artist. I love the way you can feel his heart in the words as he sings them. ❤

      Oooh, I'll have to check out Dream Wax Studio! I've never tried any other wax in my multiplacer besides the regular pink wax. I hope you enjoy the Prydain books if you read them! And yesss, John Denver put so much of his heart and soul into his music. I cried for a long time when he died when I was 16. The world lost a great artist and activist!

    Finally found your channel! I’ve heard people mention you but they never named your channel. I LOVE that you interact with your subscribers by asking a question. I’ve always thought if I had a channel that would be what I would do. I started with scrapbooking in its hay day. Then card making, then during the pandemic I got into adult coloring. That led to diamond painting and I am hooked! So glad I found your channel!

      I’m so glad you found me, welcome! I love learning more about you guys each week with yea or nay, hehe. I started scrapbooking back when it first got popular around 1998 or so! I miss it sometimes but since all my pictures are digital now it became too much of a hassle to print them out in order to scrapbook them, haha.

    Oh goodness! Such a loaded video this week! Lol. I loved cartoons and books growing up too! My favorite cartoons were Jem and the Holograms because of fashion and music and Thunder Cats! Favorite movies to this day are Never Ending Story and Wild Hearts Can't be Broken. Favorite book series as a kid were obscure: Standin' Tall, Serendipity books and then The Littles. Later in youth was the Song of the Lioness and then the Wheel of Time. My favorite fast food was the McSalad Shakers!
    Yay for the question. I cannot sit still, so I sing, crochet, read. I've dabbled in drawing, painting, i had a bread loom and used to make chokers. I barely knit, and I love to bake and cook. Mostly just diamond painting now, some crochet here and there, and i want to try cross stitch.

      I definitely watched Jem and Thundercats too! AAAALLL those 80s classics! hehe. Definitely played Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken on repeat for a while after it came out too.

    Oh my gosh did you bring back some good memories. All of the movies you named were my favorites. I also collected my little ponies and strawberry shortcake. I remember being able to stay up and watch quantum leap because it was on at 10 o’clock on a school night and I have the whole series on dvd 😊. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and for making me remember those leggings with the straps 😂 my other hobbies I like to do are crocheting, knitting and reading

    Heia 🤗 I was/am also a HE-MAN fan when I was young 😀 I have too many hobbies, so I usually do like an hour of each, and then experiment with witch I can do together. I LOVE to read, write, knitt, crocheting, sew (machine), x-stitch, nidlebinding, weawing (big and small), karding and spinning yarn and of course Diamond Painting! Some of these are seasonal hobbies, thankfully 😉 Thanks for a tripp down memory lane (both good and not so good). I still cringe when I see old photos of me with "crepe" hair, Bic Box sweater (pink or baby blue) and rainbow leggings😅😅😅 Best wishes from Norway 🤗🤗🤗

    Thanks for posting this video! I love classic rock, also. I think Crosby, Stills, Nash are one of my faves, and saw them play in Vegas about 10 years ago. 😘

    I was fortunate to see the combined Billy Joel/Elton John concert a while back. Wish I could have seen them each in their prime, and individually, but it was a great concert. PS they do still make candy cigarettes, they just aren't sold in as many places. For whatever reason, my MIL gets them for my husband for Christmas each year... I don't understand; we're definitely anti-smoking. And yea! My husband and I joke that our hobby is collecting hobbies! I'm a huge jigsaw puzzler and even travel to participate in speed puzzling competitions (I'm ranked quote well in the US!). I also make paper art, play video games, and read, and just generally craft when the mood strikes.

      Oh man, I'm so jealous you got to see Elton and Billy together! I bet that was a great show! That is such a weird, random gift that your MIL gives your husband, what the heck?? lol. I'm a bit sad they still make them, just seems like a bad idea. >

      OMG they do still make the candy cigarettes? Noooo, that's so bad. XD I love the huge jawbreakers too! They still make them and I used to get them every time we visited the beach nearby. Now with my diabetes I probably shouldn't, lol.

    Yayish? I also really like doing stuff with resin but haven't been doing much of it lately. I'd like to start messing with it again but the humidity around me makes it more difficult

    • @DPandDP
      @DPandDP  3 місяці тому +1

      Oh, I didn't even think about how humidity could affect resin projects! I've never worked with it. It intimidates me a bit, tbh, but I'm also fascinated by the things people make with it!

    Yay this week. I’m a reader whether digital or physical but I cannot do the audible thing. It’s too cringy for me to listen to the narrators to do various voices. So I take breaks from DPing to read and play with my dogs. I garden too but I consider that work…weeding never ends! 🤣🤣 …. 💜💚🩷
