Nice video. My son read the Bible on his long train ride into London every day. He did it for one year and completed the reading. He felt very pleased . I was so proud of him.
I can see myself listening to this UA-cam over and over. I get a little anxious because it's hard to find a quiet uninterrupted time to have personal Bible study without interruption. You may think it's children but it's my retired husband I adore. I used to have a full hour in the mornings but no more. I prayed about it and the Lord suggested just before bed. It's not my best time of the day and it's not always uninterrupted but it does work. I appreciate having a devotional time with my husband but to hear God clearly at least for me, I need to be alone. So... I'll continue and be grateful and watch your UA-cam for quiet encouragement. I have to go now...the love of my life is calling...:-)
This is my first time reading the Bible. I'm at the end of the book of Ezekiel. I will definitely check out the chronological order study guide the next time I start again. I am really enjoying my quiet time in the morning, reading and then praying. It feels exactly what I should be doing!
I did the Bible Recap reading plan last year and loved it so much! I decided to change it up this year and I am reading through the gospels each quarter of the year using a different translation each time.
Trank you Robin. I‘m on my Journey through the whole bible with the Bible Recap for the first time. I would appreciate you doing more Christian live videos! Greetings from Germany
Thank you. I have been reading the Bible all of life. It was required by our mother. As a young adult, I stopped.(glad to get away from all that religion) After my divorce, many years ago, I became a regular Bible reader, and back to weekly church attendance along with my young daughter. The difference is I am now learning, what "God wants me to learn". The Bible has sustained me in all of my struggles, however, it took years to grasp my part in my own Christianity. He has been there with me throughout my life, lovinlngly patiently waiting for my insight. It's astounding some hymns, gospel songs and sermons I didn't give my full attention, are being refreshed in my memory. Thanks for sharing your personal inspiration. God bless.
I am not reading the Bible in chronological order but I am doing a plan to read it in 1 year. I have found that I get so excited & really into God's word that I'm actually a little ahead of the plan. No matter how many times I've read a particular chapter, I always find more that I can take away from it each time I read it!
I've only read through the Bible in it's entirety once, starting at the beginning and just working my way through and it took 1 1/2 years. I've started again this year, but have been unable to figure out a way to "tackle" it differently and I think The Bible Recap is just the thing! I also recently purchased a tote to carry things around in as we live in a 3 story townhouse and I needed something to carry my bible, planner, phone, and etc. because everything was always on the floor I wasn't on, lol! This video was so encouraging!
I just love this! As a Christian woman there are times when I have felt alone in my faith but joint a good Bible study has always helped me so much. I do my own readings/studies but I am studying the book of John with a woman’s virtual group on Wed morning and studying the book of Revelation with my church on Wed evenings. I love both groups and will continue as long as God allows. I have read through the Bible myself so many times. I read it through as a child even before I was saved. I didn’t know what kept me coming back to it every night then especially since I wasn’t raised in a Christian home but I certainly know now. Anyway I’m sorry I clearly have been home alone to long haha. I just wanted to thank you for all of your videos! I love the ones where you talk about the Bible but it’s so refreshing to see you walk it all out in the other videos. It keeps me encouraged and I’m sure so many others too!!
Thanks for the encouragement Robin. I think there’s never been a time where we need our time with God more than we do now. I enjoyed hearing about your system. 🌺
Oh I love this video I have a daily QT too and so enjoy watching what others do just for inspiration. I’ve done the Bible Re-Cap plan & podcast for 3 years now and I have the book too & love it!! I hope you do more of this type of video not that I don’t enjoy all your other videos I absolutely do - it’s just so hard to find Christian encouragement lately!!
Thank you for making this video! My Bible study went through a book called Seamless to help us get an overview of the Bible. Now for the first time, I'm reading the Bible in a year, using a chronological Bible that's divided that way. So far this month it's been very helpful. Thank you again for sharing your own study. God bless.
Such a timely video! It seems there is a lot more negativity these days, I’ve been trying to spend more time in God’s word and less time on social media. Thank you so much for sharing. ✝️💕
This is also my second year joining The Bible Re-Cap as well. This has changed me, changed my life, changed how I practice my faith. My outlook on everything has changed so much. I hope I can help others on their journey as well. This is so life altering that I can't even verbalize it.
I really enjoyed this video. My husband and I are listening to the bible this year. We aren't doing it chronologically, this time, but we want to do that too. We do it at the end of each day. I believe it is good for our relationship and I have noticed my anxiety is much better, as well.
I started the Bible recap last year after watching a video you made telling about the Bible recap ,but I never finished the year, so I’m doing it again this year. I don’t have the book but I’m going to go order it. Glad you did this video on it I’m trying to establish a reading time everyday.
I have a planner that I use. I use the monthly section to write down verse of the day. I have a devotional that I read and write down what I get from that. I have heard of reading the Bible Chronologically but I haven't done it before. I may check into doing that and see how I like that. Thank you for sharing. I totally agree with how important it is to have a daily time reading God's Word.
Hi from Louisiana, Robin! Your latest video about your kitchen counter disaster and how you cleaned it just popped up in my feed. I had never seen your channel before and it looked interesting so I decided to watch it. I was very very impressed and I enjoyed watching the video. Next, I went on to watch your video about Bible Recap. I just found the Bible Recap a couple of days ago, and started following their podcasts. I knew then that this was a sign that I should subscribe to your channel! I enjoy your content, and I am very glad to have another faith-based person to follow. A third thing I want to comment on is the book you showed about the Bible Recap… I too am a visual learner, and I was having trouble following the podcast by listening, so when I saw the book in your Amazon shop, I immediately went and ordered it! I’m so excited to learn about this resource, it will really help me. I’m so glad I found your channel! Thank you for putting out such good content. I look forward to watching more! Have a great day 🙂 Meline
I am in a Bible study weekly however it is a structured lesson. I am interested in the Bible recap. I’m going to purchase this. Thank you for the inspiration. 😊
Hi Robin - I loved this video and it was so encouraging. I will watch it again to better understand how you do your time with the Lord each Day. I have been in a bible study of some sort continuously for 40 years. I believe it is so important in my life to keep me on an even keel. I believe prayer is how we talk to God but reading his word is an important part for how He talks to us.. I have been through a study on the plan of the ages which explains Gods plan from beginning to end many times. What I am doing now is I start with the Open Story on Youversion bible app that corresponds with the verse of the day. Then I do a devotional that I have chosen from the Bible app. Now I am doing the 100 descriptions of God. Then I do another devotional on the Bible app that my two daughters and granddaughter do together. By that time the Lord has put something on my heart that causes me to praise and worship Him so I go into my prayer time. Then I write in my planner what God has shown me that day. I could go on and on with this topic but I’ll stop. You are a precious sister to me and I thank the Lord for bringing you into my life.
That is so wonderful Donna! There are so many great resources and I love to hear how others are spending their time with God each day. God bless you my sweet sister in Christ! 🙏😊💛
Robin, I love this vid. I have been involved in organized bible study since 2003. I would never go back to no organized bible study. This year I am also listening to the Great Adventure Bible podcast (bible in a year). I appreciate your subject matter. Thanks, Robin.
Thank you for sharing! I have spent this last year reading through the whole Bible in a year. I followed a plan that was a little confusing as it was paralleling different events in the OT and the NT. Often it was hard to understand how they were connected. It really has been interesting though to get a full picture of God's Word and it truly confirms why we need Jesus. This year I have started a little different. I am using a Bible Journaling that focuses on your Prayer life and different areas in your life that you want work on. I am doing all of this alone, because I feel like it's hard to find women who are in the same phase of their faith as I am, sadly. It's great to hear your analysis of your Bible Study because I feel exactly the same. The world can be so draining, but when you start your day with God's Word you will get the right focus and perspective on things. Also it becomes easier to prioritize your tasks for the day. Have a blessed week!
I love that you are a Christian lady, because when you say a product is good and you recommend it; I know you are being honest . Love watching your videos and seeing Austin too.
I’ve read through the Bible 3 or 4 times. I discovered The Bible Recap last July and it’s really enhanced my experience this time around. I really look forward to my daily Bible reading.
I realize that this video is not a recent one, Robin, but I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated listening to it today. It was like we were sitting across the table from each other, having a chat over a cup of tea. It was especially interesting as this year I am in a Bible study where we are following the Bible Recap timeline, and I have watched several of the Bible Recap chapter overviews, which are quite good. Thank you for giving info about the Bible Recap book; I plan to look for it the next time I am at the bookstore. I also had to smile when I saw that you have the Life Essentials Bible. My family went to Gene Getz’ church during my college years and beyond, while they lived in the Dallas area, so that Bible caught my eye when I saw it at Mardel last fall and I purchased it.
I’m just finishing up (within the next 3 weeks) my “through the Bible” with The Bible Recap. It’s not my first time through, but my first time with Tara-Leigh, and I highly recommend it, too!
Loved your video today! 💗 My family is reading through the Bible together daily using the Bible Recap. We are enjoying our time together getting to know more about God. Thank you for encouraging your viewers to spend time with the Lord. 💗💗
This was such a timely video. I needed a path to get started on reading the Bible in a year. I have done many, many Bible studies over the years but as you said, never in chronological order or if some of those were in order, too much time passed between each study and of course, I had forgotten details. I love that you share you faith so openly and proudly. Currently, I am studying passages as related to life ie: my dear sister-in-law was just diagnosed with an extremely aggressive leukemia which is requiring her to be hospitalized for a month for treatment and then a bone marrow transplant for hope of survival. It’s been devastating so I’m reading scriptures regarding healing, strength, faithfulness and hope. In times of less crisis, I focus more on scriptures regarding gratitude, attributes of God and how to be more like God in this world. I know it sounds like chaotic way to study but it’s like my life handbook. Thank you for sharing this information and showing us a way to lean in to God.😇
Thank you Jennifer. I hope that this method helps and I pray for your sister in law and family. Hard times can draw us closer and having Him to lean on is the only way through. God bless! 🙏😊💛
Thank you for this video. I have my devotional in the mornings at my desk but have wanted to have a more organized method to study. This sounds perfect. I suffer from agoraphobia and my anxiety prevents me from public meetings like Bible studies. I miss getting together with friends and reading GOD’S word. I’m getting better but not quite there yet. GOD bless you and keep your wonderful videos coming. Melissa
Thank you Melissa! Due to COVID I am meeting virtually with my Bible Study group. It has been a good way to stay connected and it helps to keep us all encouraged and accountable. Perhaps that could be an option? 🙏😊💛
Thank you for sharing your faith, Robin. I loved this video. Seeing what you are doing for your daily quiet time is an inspiration. I am reading chronologically this year, too. Like you, I've lost track of how many times I've read the Bible through during my life. This is the first time to do it this way and I'm really enjoying it. I found a printable plan from Back To The Bible so I'm using it to help keep me on track. My devotions basket is beside my comfy chair in the corner of my living room. I have my quiet time very early in the morning before my hubby is up, before my day begins. You are always an inspiration and encouragement.
I am a member of the Baha'i Faith. One of the key principles is independent investigation of truth which is so in line with your comment that we need to read the Word of God directly and think about what it means to each of us rather than limiting ourselves to someone else's interpretation of God's Message. Insightful video, Robin.
Hi Robin . . . thank you for sharing how you study your Bible during your quiet time. I am reading through the Bible using the Holman CSB "Every Day with Jesus Daily Bible". It gives you readings from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs each day and includes devotions as well. I do this on my own because of Covid. I do own a copy of the Bible Recap and maybe will use that next year! Loved your video!
Thank you Carol! I have used a similar format in the past. I hope you will try the Bible Recap next go round. It really helped me to reach a new level of understanding and appreciation. 🙏😊💛
Robin, thank you so much for sharing your Bible study routine. I know from my own experience that spending time with God and reading His word is so important for staying grounded. Where I live (in the UK) we are in lockdown and our schools are closed, so I am once again trying to fit teaching four children into my work day and general home/family work. Predictably my own time to study/pray, etc has been slipping. I know many people are facing much harder challenges than mine, but after a particularly discouraging day I saw your video and decided to watch it. I'm so glad I did! It was gentle and encouraging - as always. I'm making a coffee now and heading up to sit down and be refreshed in remembering who it is that loves me. God bless you. Thanks for your thoughtful, helpful videos. Lindsay 😊
I learned about the Bible recap from one of your previous videos and started using the app right after Christmas. And, I love it!!! I really enjoy the drawings/narration at the beginning of each book or a segment of each book (I read while listening to the app and pause to take notes and or highlight). I will need to check out their book of podcast transcripts!!!!
This is my third year reading through the bible, and after your recommendations I am using the Bible recap for the first time. I love it such an encouraging way to read it. Thank you
This is like a breath of fresh air! I spend time reading the Bible a chapter a day, usually every morning I used to belong to a ladies Bible study but now I am just on my own. I agree with the part that God may have a special message for you. So many studies are of someone else’s interpretation!
Robin, I have begun the Bible Recap reading plan on Jan.1 for the first time. I have been challenged and blessed so far. I spied some of your other study aids I have enjoyed as well. Martha Peace, and Nancy Lee DeMoss,, both great.
Thank you Robin. It is wonderful that you shared your bible study routine. I find it encouraging to listen to you and read the comments. I've been very discouraged with everything happening in our country. Knowing there are other Christians reading God's word daily helps soothe my soul. I also will be finding a pretty basket for my bible and devotional. I've been using listening to the Bible Recap podcasts. Thanks again.
Personally I don’t like taking notes in a notebook or electronics but rather I like to take them in my notes only on the questions I have and I also use commentaries/ study bibles I also post lives on some Bible studies I do
I consider this video a God message for me. I went to bed last night and committed myself to God that I would stop paying so much attention to the politics going on right now and to focus on Him. I have ordered the book and can’t wait to start refocusing my thoughts and time on God. Thank you so much!
Thank you for letting me know that! I just love how God orchestrates everything! I hope that you will love the Bible Recap and that God uses it to draw you even closer. 🙏😊💛
Hello Dear Robin, so great to see you again. I enjoyed this video very much. I have also had a daily devotional reading routine for many years. Basically what I do is read the Bible and then read a chapter of a Christian writer and then my Sabbath school lesson (I'm a seventh-day Adventist so we go to church on Sabbath or Saturday) and then prayer and text memorization. This year, thanks to you introducing me to EC, I am now noting it all, in journals, in the on the go folio. I have a lined journal which I write an overview of what I studied that day and also who I prayed for. Your father in law is mentioned daily in my prayers. How is he? I have 2 other journals also, one for memorized texts and the other for writing out to the notes to the church sermon. Like you, I love my devotional hour and it makes all the difference to my relationship with God and also with others. Take care love Anya from Australia.
Good morning Robin. First, thank you for such a refreshing video. The Bible is my favorite book. I believe it is so important to pray and read the Bible because it is so uplifting and gets me through each and every day. I believe the Bible is a road map to life; how to live, how to treat others, what we should do in situations, how we should act, etc. I remember my mom reading the Bible all the way through a couple of times. When visiting her, we would sit together over a cup of tea and have some goodies that she baked and would talk about a certain verse or character from the Bible. We would always end our visits praying together. I certainly miss those days and my mom as well.
I decided to try the Bible Recap this year (the podcasts are so helpful and I have Tara Leigh Cobble’s ebook for the reading plan). I’m not as diligent at keeping up with the readings everyday but so far I’m only a few days behind. I’m not religious per se but my son has started a non-denominational school. I’d like to get a grasp of the Bible and tick it off my reading bucket list.
I need to put all of my materials in a basket. I am reading two translations right now, and my planner, so I tend to move around a lot of materials daily. Thank you for the idea!!!
It’s so nice to hear from other Christians who love Gods word! Was that Jen Wilkins book Women of the Word in your basket? Great resource. My favorite translation I’m using currently is The Voice and I am doing the three year reading plan in the back.
Hi Gretchen! Yes - I love Women of the Word and Jen Wilkins is great! I have not looked into the Voice, but I love discovering different translations. 🙏😊💛
I've also read through the Bible a few times, but for the first time, I am reading through a Chronological Bible. The Bible Recap looks interesting, I will definitely look into that! You are an encourager, Robin! I always enjoy your videos! God bless you and your family!
Loved your video, Robin. It gave a clear, helpful way to studying the Bible from a different perspective. We sure need God in our lives during these times.
Once again I have to thank for the recommendation of the Bible Recap. I am almost done since I started later in the spring. I highly recommend it to any of your followers. It has really amazed me how God has spoken to me especially during this past year. Thanks again for the recommendation.
Thank you for sharing 💗 One of the goals I set myself this year was to spend 5-10 minutes studying God's word using a scripture reading plan. I, so far, have done this faithfully everyday (except Sundays where I follow the scripture from our virtual church service) since the 1st of January. This is a big improvement for me and something I am really enjoying. The theme for the plan I am currently following is "My Identity in Christ". It is really helping me to remember exactly who I am to God and a great starting point for a new year. Xx
I too am reading through the Bible, using the Bible Recap. I watched the podcasts at first, until the book was available., though I love Tara Lee and the podcasts. I also have a few other study Bibles on hand if I have questions (Quest Bible is great), or want other commentary/life application. Thank you for sharing!
I think I will try this Robin. I will create a little space like you have done and try to make a daily habit of reading my Bible every morning. I'm not sure if I can get the app you mention but will ask my brother how to do that. Thank you for another good video. God bless you.v
Thanks for sharing your faith and how you study! I appreciate the tips. Reading God's word and pondering how it relates to us each day is so important. It really does help us focus on the most important things and become a better person. Whenever I write down my thoughts and what I feel inspired about I get so much more out of it.
Thank you Robin for making this video and sharing your faith in Christ our Lord. You encourage many women by your calm peaceful way. The Bible Recap looks interesting, thanks for explaining it. I have heard you mention it before. I so agree with you about reading God’s Word ourselves. He speaks to us if we will take time with Him in His Word. I am a member of Bible Study Fellowship where we study God’s Word individually daily and as a group weekly. Thanks again for your video today.
hi robin, thank you very much for your video and encouragmenet. personally i am no christian but following judaism and i find it particularily hard juggling everything that is going on while trying to have some sort of work-life-balance. so i truly appreciate your encouraging words which helped me to remind myself of what is important at the end of the day and i will try to do better and get get back into studying the scripture. warm greetings from germany. stay safe and have a nice day robin.
Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻!!! I’ve bought the book, I just need to schedule time and form the habit. You’ve inspired me and I realize this could be life changing for me. I’m confident God directed me to your channel 🙏🏻😊
Thank you for sharing! 💞 Our church does bible studies twice a year, and I’ve been with the same table for a while now. We are starting a new study in February! I am going to finish the NT and then I am excited to start in chronological order. I’ve heard great things about the Bible Recap from The Minimal Mom as well!
Wonderful Elizabeth! I keep hearing from more and more UA-camrs and others who are discovering this amazing resource. I think God is using the Bible Recap to do amazing things! 🙏😊💛
Hello! Yes it's very importatant to take out time out for ourselves. Thank you for sharing your favorite study bible will have to check it out. All the best sis.
Hi Robin, I agree with one of the comments below, there has never been a time like now when we need to get closer to the Lord as now. I thank you for sharing your method of keeping close to the Lord and His word. This gives me that kind push I need to be more deligent with this most seriouse time in my life. I thank you once again. Warm thoughts I send your way Raquel 🙋🏻🙏📖🍎
That's wonderful Dianne! I love that you are inspired to create a Bible Study basket of your own and I pray that it is the start of a life changing journey! God bless! 🙏😊💛
I started the Bible Recap this year and I’m loving it! I’m going to start taking my own notes in between reading and the podcast that’s a great suggestion. Thanks for sharing your routine with us!
That's great Kelly! There are days when I hardly write anything at all and days where I take up a whole page. It is exciting to focus on what God is teaching me each day and I hope that you find it helpful too! God bless! 🙏😊💛
Great video...this year I am listening to the new Bible in a Year podcast with Fr Mike Schmitz. I also pray the rosary each day along with podcast “a rosary companion”... just curious how long you spend on your devotional study each day?
I have developed my own little system of reading through the Bible, and it probably wouldn't make sense to anybody else. I have used this system for 6 or 7 years now, and it has worked for me better than any other system I have tried to use. I like to start my day with my devotion. It's just what works best for me.
I printed something from the Internet in December and the chapters to read if I wanted to read the Bible chronologically in one year. Life got in the way and here we are on 21 January and I still have not began. I’m three weeks behind already. I have to start at the beginning. I can’t start three weeks into it or it will drive me nuts. At some point I just give up. Perfectionism can do that. I know that we cannot be perfect
I’m so glad you did this video. I read from my Bible in no particular order. It would be great to have a study group with other women. Right now churches in our area have stopped doing these in person. Maybe I could find one on zoom. Thank you again for your video.
Because of corona, I became a first time stay at home mom this past fall. I decided to read through the Bible for the first time. I am using an NIV version, and I only have the last few smaller books in the Old Testament to read and I’m all finished. I should have them done by this weekend, so it took me around 5 months to complete. At the first of 2021, I started a new read the Bible in a year plan with my KJV. I grew up on that version, and want read that for this year. I got a plan at Hobby Lobby for $1. It is divided into 15 minutes a day, with up to 4 passages a day. It has me reading some Old Testament and New Testament chapters at the same time, which I’m finding as a pretty neat way to do things. I may try the chronological plan that you recommended next week when I start my NIV version again. God bless!
Nice video.
My son read the Bible on his long train ride into London every day.
He did it for one year and completed the reading.
He felt very pleased . I was so proud of him.
That is great Kay! Your son sounds like a very special guy! 🙏😊💛
I am so glad that you are such a Christian lady. I have a Bible study class every Wednesday. Thank you for your inspiration.
Wonderful Connie! 🙏😊💛
That’s wonderful Jasmine! 🙏😊💛
This is what I’m doing too!
Thank you. I have been reading the Bible all of life. It was required by our mother. I've only read through the Bible in it's entirety once, starting at the beginning and just working my way through and it took 1 1/2 years. I've started again this year, but have been unable to figure out a way to "tackle" it differently and I think The Bible Recap is just the thing! This video was so encouraging!
That's great Melanie! A tote sounds like a great solution and I hope that the Bible Recap works for you! 🙏😊💛
The Bible Recap is so helpful! It changed my Bible reading & understanding
I just love this! As a Christian woman there are times when I have felt alone in my faith but joint a good Bible study has always helped me so much. Absolutely Tammie! God bless! 🙏😊💛
God bless you!
This has been also my morning routine. God first at every moment. It has been of great blessings.
I have been part of BSF for years and love it. I have been wanting to do more, so this is perfect! Thank you!
BSF is great Nancy! I hope that this will be a fresh approach that will add to your understanding and draw you even closer to the Lord! 🙏😊💛
I’m doing it on my own and look forward to it everyday
Wonderful Mary! 🙏😊💛
God bless.
That sounds great Sara! I will have to check out Seamless. Thank you and God bless! 🙏😊💛
Such a timely video! It seems there is a lot more negativity these days, I’ve been trying to spend more time in God’s word and less time on social media. Thank you so much for sharing. ✝️💕
Thank you Diana! I agree - more time in the Word and less time on social media would be good for us all! 🙏😊💛
That’s wonderful Donna! 🙏😊💛
I started the Bible recap last year after watching a video you made telling about the Bible recap ,but I never finished the year, so I’m doing it again this year. I don’t have the book but I’m going to go order it. Glad you did this video on it I’m trying to establish a reading time everyday.
Wonderful Vickie! You are not alone - many of us don't make it all the way through the first time. Hopefully this year will be the year!🙏😊💛
Thanks for sharing your resources! I enjoy learning how people spend their quiet time in the Bible.💖
I hope you will try the Chronological reading plans. It was life changing for me! 🙏😊💛
AS a new Christian, this has been very helpful. Thank you for your inspiration and this video.
I started the Bible Re-cap based on your recommendation last year. I love it and recommend it to anyone who’ll listen! Thank you for sharing it!
Thank you Karyn! I know how you feel - it’s just too good to keep to yourself! God bless! 🙏😊💛
Have a great day 🙂
Meline
Thank you Meline and welcome! I’m so glad you found me too and hope to see you here again soon. God bless!😊💗💕
I am in a Bible study weekly however it is a structured lesson. I am interested in the Bible recap. I’m going to purchase this. Thank you for the inspiration. 😊
I just heard about the Bible recap. I’m doing it this year.
I highly recommend Bible Study Fellowship. Thanks for the Bible Recap recommendation and the encouragement to read the Bible in a year.
Hi Jenny! BSF is wonderful! I recommend it it as well!
Wonderful Sofia! God bless! 🙏😊💛
I love that you are a Christian lady, because when you say a product is good and you recommend it; I know you are being honest . Love watching your videos and seeing Austin too.
Thank you Gail! I’m glad that you feel that way and hope I continue to earn your trust. 🙏😊💛
I’ve read through the Bible 3 or 4 times. I discovered The Bible Recap last July and it’s really enhanced my experience this time around. I really look forward to my daily Bible reading.
That is so wonderful to hear Lori! I hope that it continues to keep you engaged and excited to be in the Word daily! 🙏😊💛
Thanks for encouragement❤️
Thank you Gina! 🙏😊💛
Loved your video today! 💗 My family is reading through the Bible together daily using the Bible Recap. We are enjoying our time together getting to know more about God. Thank you for encouraging your viewers to spend time with the Lord. 💗💗
Thank you Marjorie! How wonderful that you are doing this with your family! 🙏😊💛
Wonderful Adrienne! I'm so glad we can be on this journey together! 🙏😊💛
I am a member of the Baha'i Faith. One of the key principles is independent investigation of truth which is so in line with your comment that we need to read the Word of God directly and think about what it means to each of us rather than limiting ourselves to someone else's interpretation of God's Message. Insightful video, Robin.
Thank you Evelyn! 🙏😊💛
I'm doing this plan this year.
Hi Robin . . . thank you for sharing how you study your Bible during your quiet time.
I also love the Bible Recap-it keeps me on track!!
Lindsay 😊
I've been looking for something like this. Thank you for the suggestion!
I hope you love it Amanda! 🙏😊💛
Awesome! Love it! Always important to spend time with Jesus everyday 😁
Absolutely Mary! 🙏😊💛
Thank you, so happy I found you! Joan, from Joan's Pointed Plate mentioned you in her UA-cam, so happy she did.
I’m so glad you are loving it too Jody! It really is life transforming. I look forward to my time in the Word each day. 🙏😊💛
Thank you Mary! I think that is so important. God bless! 🙏😊💛
MAY GOD BLESS U ROBIN 4. ENCOURAGING US IN THIS FORMATE, LOOKING FORWARD 2 TRY. : )
Thank you Robin I seem to pray and read the bible a lot lately with how everything is going on thank you for more encouragement we all need this.💕🌹🙏🙏
Thank you Maggy! I’m very grateful for this community of women who are focused on the things that really matter. 🙏😊💛
Robin I cannot thank you enough for this video. So inspirational and uplifting. I now desire to start my own Bible study each day. Thanks so much! 💜🤗
Robin, I have begun the Bible Recap reading plan on Jan.1 for the first time. I have been challenged and blessed so far. I spied some of your other study aids I have enjoyed as well. Martha Peace, and Nancy Lee DeMoss,, both great.
I’m so glad Kathryn! I love those other studies too - so many godly women to learn from. 🙏😊💛
I agree Deborah, but when I am grounded in Scripture I am reminded of Who is in control! God bless! 🙏😊💛
Hi Robin. Thank you for this video. Blessings.
Personally I don’t like taking notes in a notebook or electronics but rather I like to take them in my notes only on the questions I have and I also use commentaries/ study bibles I also post lives on some Bible studies I do
Love this, its wonderful and helps boost your day right?! Without that time, things get chaotic and my day is unsuccrssful!
Safety for my family
Thank you so much God send me to your video. This is something Ive been looking forward to do. God bless.
That is so wonderful Helen! What special memories you must have. Your mom was a great godly example! 🙏😊💛
@@FaithandFlour thank you Robin. Yes indeed she was❤⚘
I decided to try the Bible Recap this year (the podcasts are so helpful and I have Tara Leigh Cobble’s ebook for the reading plan).
That’s awesome Sammi! I love reading different translations too. I hope using a basket will make things easier and help to keep you on track. 😉🙏💛
I started using The Bible Recap this year and I love it!
I'm so glad to hear that Cindy! All of the feedback I am getting is so positive. I think that God is doing great things through the Bible Recap! 🙏😊💛
Thank you so much for this video....God bless you.
Thank you!🙏🏻❄️🥰
I've also read through the Bible a few times, but for the first time, I am reading through a Chronological Bible. The Bible Recap looks interesting, I will definitely look into that! You are an encourager, Robin! I always enjoy your videos! God bless you and your family!
Thank you Amy! God bless you and your family as well! 🙏😊💛
@@FaithandFlour Thank you! I thought I'd let you know, I ordered The Bible Recap, and I'm very excited about it! Thank you for this video!
Loved your video, Robin. It gave a clear, helpful way to studying the Bible from a different perspective. We sure need God in our lives during these times.
Thank you Jo and God bless! 🙏😊💛
Once again I have to thank for the recommendation of the Bible Recap. I am almost done since I started later in the spring. I highly recommend it to any of your followers. It has really amazed me how God has spoken to me especially during this past year. Thanks again for the recommendation.
I’m so glad Sheila! Thank you for letting me know and God bless! 🙏😊💛
Thank you, Robin, for sharing this with us. God continues to use you to inspire your viewers. Blessings 🌿
Thank you for sharing 💗
One of the goals I set myself this year was to spend 5-10 minutes studying God's word using a scripture reading plan. Xx
That sounds wonderful Tina! I love the title of your reading plan. It sounds like something that we could all spend time contemplating. God bless! 🙏😊💛
Thank you Wendy! I couldn’t agree more! 🙏😊💛
Thank you Gayle! BSF is amazing too! God bless! 🙏😊💛
hi robin, thank you very much for your video and encouragmenet. personally i am no christian but following judaism and i find it particularily hard juggling everything that is going on while trying to have some sort of work-life-balance. so i truly appreciate your encouraging words which helped me to remind myself of what is important at the end of the day and i will try to do better and get get back into studying the scripture. warm greetings from germany. stay safe and have a nice day robin.
Thank you Midori! I pray that being in Scripture will draw you closer to God and strengthen your faith. God bless! 🙏😊💛
You inspire me in so many ways. I am so glad I subscribed to your videos a few weeks back. Thank you! Vicki
Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻!!! I’ve bought the book, I just need to schedule time and form the habit. You’ve inspired me and I realize this could be life changing for me. I’m confident God directed me to your channel 🙏🏻😊
great video! so helpful. i have struggled for a routine. even tho i make the time daily, my bible time was blah and unfocused. thk u!!!
I really hope this helps. It has been life changing for me! 🙏😊💛
My thoughts exactly. I've also been struggling. And it did feel blah! And it's not ok at all. This video was a huge encouraging.
I have never heard of the Bible Recap... thank you so much for sharing such an encouragement
I hope you will check it out Brandy! It’s truly life changing. 🙏😊💛
Really appreciate this video. Helpful.
Thank you Victoria! 🙏😊💛
Thank you for this great video! I’m inspired to take my daily Bible reading to the next level 😊
Thank you for sharing! 💞
Our church does bible studies twice a year, and I’ve been with the same table for a while now.
Hi Robin. I do both. I study on my own, with some of y'all on UA-cam and at church my ladies group is studying Ruth by Kelly Minter
Hello! Yes it's very importatant to take out time out for ourselves. Thank you for sharing your favorite study bible will have to check it out. All the best sis.
Thank you! I hope that you find it as impactful as I have! 🙏😊💛
@@FaithandFlour Thank you. I'll keep you updated. Continued blessings.
Hi Robin,
I agree with one of the comments below, there has never been a time like now when we need to get closer to the Lord as now. I thank you for sharing your method of keeping close to the Lord and His word. This gives me that kind push I need to be more deligent with this most seriouse time in my life. I thank you once again. Warm thoughts I send your way Raquel 🙋🏻🙏📖🍎
Well said Raquel! God bless! 🙏😊💛
I have a basket just perfect for doing this. Thanks for sharing your method.
God bless! 🙏😊💛
Thank you for the information and encouragement Robin. 😃
Thank you Rhonda! God bless!
That's awesome Donna! If you are spending time in God's Word daily than you are definitely doing it right!!! God bless! 🙏😊💛
Thank you Jennifer! We are meeting on Zoom for the foreseeable future. It has been a blessings this year! 🙏😊💛
God bless!
That’s wonderful! I’m glad you will try the chronological format next. I think you will love it! 👍💛
Would love to see more Christian inspired videos. Love all your videos, but these where your sharing quiet time are the ones I love best.
