Today's video has been one that has been highly requested here on my channel for a while now.
Today I take you for a tour around my quiet time office space!
It's not perfect, it's often over-crowded, and it's stylistically not the way sometimes I envisioned it to be... but it's where Jesus meets me every day, and I am eternally grateful for His kindness and His grace by giving me this space to call my own!

Thank you for showing us around your space Wendy and some of the books you’ve collected and loved over the years. I retired coming up to four years ago now and sadly had to downsize my library as my wife and I had to begin looking for a house to rent and retire to. Wonderfully though, the Lord led me to a young lady who was training and beginning an active ministry, so I was able to give her all the books she wanted.
Today, I stumbled upon your channel and have watched two or three of your videos and received much from them, so much thanks from a brother in the U.K. 😊

Looking at your journey and thinking about your Bible w/notes and tabs sticking out, the LORD revealed to me, that is how our hearts should look like. HIS WORD written all our hearts ❤ and the notes/ tabs is our works which identifies us as HIS! Thank you for sharing.
That reminds me, I use little A5 size notebooks for taking Sunday notes. I need to find a box to keep them neatly stored together.
Makes me wish I was neat but then I would never find anything. My room is CHAOS and I can find anything there. I love your office.

Aww!! He’s here!!! I had a good friend come to visit once and just pulled a large comfy chair and ottoman into the room by my desk… she said she just wanted to sit and “feel Jesus.” Glory to God! Thank you for watching!!

Great space, my study spot is throughout the house wherever I find a quiet corner, I have a desk and shelf for all my books and bibles in the kitchen corner but if TV is on I’m distracted, I keep my journaling supples in a basket so I just pull my Bible and and book I’m studying from and grab my iPad for you version and I have comfy corners in every room even my bathroom🤦🏼♀️.
It looks like your really organized. What a lot of wisdom collected.

I have the exact same NLT Bible! I absolutely love it, and it’s obvious you do, too. I love your office space, what a beautiful place to spend time with our Lord and Savior. Before I retired I worked for an independent office supply/printing company. I had access to so many pens and post it’s. I worked there for 28 years so I collected a lot. I love how you’ve decorated the room and how organized you are. Thank you so much for sharing this with us….
Your grand babies are precious. I have 9 grandkids aged 25 to 6. Love them all so much.

I’m just blown away…love it! Thank you for sharing. I work outside the home full time, and it makes it hard to do all I desire to do in regards to Bible Study, etc. I will retire in two years and I’m looking forward to have so much more time in God’s Word.

Donna, you will love retirement! I retired 5 years ago and it is wonderful to have increased time for bible study and ministry! When I worked, I found it a challenge. I used to find an empty office and go in there and read my bible for an hour at lunch time. The Lord blessed me greatly when I was able to retire and met more involved with his word and my church. I hope you also experience that joy! :)

I admire your organisational skills :) my room is still a work in progress with house reno's and work thrown into the mix LOL but my bible, notebooks, and study bible that arrived the other day are all next to me on my desk ( I actually got my desk which is a reproduction roll top for free a couple of years ago) as this is my priority before other things and the closet in the room is filled to the brim with paintings waiting to be finished and various crafts I've done over time.

Gosh, you are so beautiful - I love your pretty hair! I also love your office set up. I just spruced up my craft room, but I also have a bedroom office that I need to make more welcoming so that I spend more time there in the word, rather elsewhere throughout the house. It warmed my heart to see your MacArthur study bible and his commentary and the other JM book you are working through. This man has done so much to clarify my Christian thinking and encourage my walk with Jesus. I am interested in the book you are going through on the Sermon on the Mount by M. Lloyd Jones. I think it is something that would be right up my alley. I am so glad the Lord led me to your ministry, Wendy. I love our Red Letters group. The Lord is blessing me through your teachings, example and sweet character. God bless you and may the number of people blessed by your ministry continue to increase.

MacArthur and Charles Surgeon have Calvinist beliefs. Can't agree with Jesus only dying for the few.
Love your three rings Old/New Testament binders. I actually do almost the same thing because I'm mostly blind and get studies online.

@@inspireministries - Sister it seems like you are sincerely getting into the word of God. I pray that your eyes would be open to John MacArthur; especially of how he views women.
John MacArthur told a wife to go back to her abusive husband. Her husband ends up going to prison. A year later an elder looks up the case and tells John MacArthur to at least privately apologize to the wife. MacArthur said to "just forget it". This elder had to resign!
Meanwhile other women came forward and talked to the former elder about their same experience with John MacArthur.

John MacArthur told the whole UA-cam world that you can take the mark of the beast and still go to heaven
I know tons of people who like to call Preaches false (especially Joyce Meyer. They LOVE to put her down). However, MacArthur is the only person that I say with 100% certainty is a false teacher since he's the only one (that I know of) who went TOTALLY against God's Word.
(and the last I heard, he hasn't changed his mind on that)

What “ leadership/mentor” books did you use or still use that you would recommend?
How are you getting handwritten study notes typed? Do you type as you go or are you having someone else type them up? What is your process?

I will read your words many more times but if I understand you correctly, it is any believer who forgives or ist it a church elder or other high office? If I forgive you, heaven forgives, and if I do n t, then heaven won't? Then how are our sins forgiven if it depends on anyone's forgiveness? I'm confused. I will read your words again. The church. If the forgiveness is based on the Word of God, yes. We are forgiven by the grace of God. And that is an ongoing process. I’m sorry you had a hard day!!

My quiet time journals are where I study scripture. My prayer journals are where I write out prayer requests.

What does it mean when the bible says, whatever is bound on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever is loosed on earth will be loosed in heaven. Hi Ruth. You're speaking of Matt 16:19 and Matt 18:18. This promise echoed what we see in John 20:23, "If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven. If you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." Jesus was giving His disciples (the church) the authority to forgive or retain the sins of the people. Any body of believers who are working in accordance in and agreement with the Word of God and they are making these judgements or these corrections in the name of Jesus and according to the truths in scripture, then heaven agrees with their decision. If someone is forgiven here - based on the Word of God - God agrees in heaven. If someone is held in discipline due to sins - based on the Word of God - God agrees in heaven. That is whatever is bound and loosed in heaven. It HAS to be done scripturaly, however.

I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible and 2 King James version bibles and a Spanish bibles can I write in them with a Bic stic pen sending you lots of love and happiness and peace and joy and prayers for you and you're family love you so much.
Wendy, what bible dictionary was on your desk?
It is one I found years ago in a thrift store that I love... it is called, "Theological Dictionary of the New Testament" Abridged in one volume... by Geoffrey W. Bromiley. :)
my very first Bible was a green Living Bible. I was, I think 🤔 in sixth grade when I gave my life to the Lord and that was the Bible I purchased. 🤍🕊️🥰
