Yea these players back in the 80s had to walk across country up hill both ways. Sometimes in some nasty conditions sometimes they had to walk in 20 feet of snow with temps in the -160 with wind chill. And sometimes they had to walk in the 176 degrees heat ! Plus back then they used a 50 pounds football made out of solid steel. They didn't do pushups they pushed the earth down. And they didn't get frost bite they bit frost !

Madden was great for the game, helped grow it in multiple ways...was a great coach , personality and Ambassador for the game Nothing about the damn game died Nothing. Chiefs have Won Super Bowl games since. Someone will this yr Only thing that died was Madden. In the flesh. God rest his soul Much easier ways to pay homage and show respect without the over the top bs. C'mon man
