When I first started wearing eyelashes I put mine on just like you're doing because I think it's a lot easier and looks great. I slept on my friends sofa without taking them off and a piece got up in my eye.... kinda behind it. It hurt so I went to E.R. ... they had to num my eye but it was still hard to get it out. They thought they were going to have to do surgery. ... my point is plz, plz be careful and don't sleep with them on.
I've been doing this for the past 3years putting lashes on the upper waterline bc i CANNOT apply them correctly on top it makes me maddd! I always thought i was wrong for doing this lol
@@siri_siri4709 same...so i have to curl them and when i do they are to long so they get in the way. I have LONG but STRAIGHT lashes , i feel the pain of both worlds lol
I just tried false eyelashes once and created a giant mess! How do you remove the dried glue when you take them off so you can reuse them? One went on great, the other eye looked pretty awful and by the time I pried the dried glue off of them, they looked like a plucked chicken and aren't usable...Help me, please!
Kathy Beamer usually if they are individual lashes then throw them out. If ur using strip lashes use baby oil. Or water. The glue usually peels right off. I've been doing this technique for 5 yrs. And do it with hair bonding glue. Use very little. It usually peels right off if wet and doesn't pull ur natural lashes out
To everyone who against this without trying it: I was too. Then I tried it, and I LOVE IT. It is not as scary as it appears to some, honestly the glue doesn't get in your eyes and it's not that much closer than the regular way. BEST OF ALL ITS SOOOO EASY!!! I NEVER EVER could get my lashes on, I love lashes and have a whole box of them, but NOW I CAN USE THEM FINALLY!!!! THIS WORKS!!!

Thanks to you I’m a pro and putting those wispies underneath instead of on top! I use a toothpick to apply the glue and I only cut the lashes into two sections! They definitely look natural
@@pandarush. yes the glue touches my lashes but I use eye makeup remover to get them off. But yes I’ve pulled some lashes out I’m trying KISS DIY lash kit now. Check it out.
I’ve been doing my lashes like this for about 4 months now after seeing a tik tok and I’m getting so good at it and I’m so proud bc I sucked at lashes before, either way, top or bottom. This way looks SO MORE NATURAL and even than placing them on top, idk why but it does. Sorry for yelling but plz try this if you suck at putting them on the top. I made myself do lashes everyday for 2 weeks, even if it was the only make up I did for that day, until I got the hang of it! Totally worked, also the new “Duo Quick-Set” 30 second glue in the cobalt blue packaging works the best out of all the glues I’ve ever tried! I’ve never had them come up or lift off in the corners like with the Original duo glue,. They even stay put when sweating and swimming, you have to soak a cotton pad in micellar water and leave them sitting your natural lashes/eye for about 5 minutes to get the glue to release from your natural lashes. I always put a thin layer of waterproof mascara on my natural lashes making sure to get the top and bottoms of the lashes ,before going in with the fake lashes, blends them better and gives the glue something to adhere to rather than just adhering to your natural lashes, makes it easier to take off too!
Thank you soooooo much for all your tips and tricks. I will buy that glue and will remove them that way. I suck at applying lashes but you gave me hope 🤗💜
Kimberly Mej I should have also mentioned that the garnier WATERPROOF makeup remover micellar water (with the blue top) removed them the best, and didn’t destroy the lashes. don’t ever use neutrogena makeup remover or wipes to take of fake lashes bc for some reason I’ve had it eat away and ruin some of my lashes, it will eat away at the band until it’s completely dissolved. Ruined several expensive pairs this way. I highly recommend getting one of those weird looking metal lash tweezer things also, helps sooo much, wait until the glue is almost see thru, partly opalescent, then apply. Gosh I need to just make a video lol there’s so many small helpful tips I keep thinking of haha
Girrrrlll you gotta let that get more tacky! Maybe it was just the lighting lol I do this technique regularly too, but I let it get so tacky it’s on the verge of being clear. That white wet glue was just giving me anxiety lol great video though!

I’ve been doing this method for over 8 years. It’s more natural and last longer and with practice it gets easier. Start off by cutting the strips in 3 and gradually move to two but that’s the best way since everyone’s eye shape is different. It makes it easier to handle and apply when you cut the strip into separate pieces
I was on youtube and did come across someone else doing this Last night. So tried it today and it's brilliant!!! Look's so natural i Love it. Apparently celeb stylists have been doing it this way for years! ❤ so glad to of found this way of doing false eyelashe's 👑👁😍😘

I've been doing this for about 2 years. It is a game changer! No smudging mascara and beautiful lashes that look like extensions Plus they are about $2 a set. I use the black brush on glue however and no mascara with Arell wispies.
you were the first person I've seen to do this technique and later down the line I see that companies that are selling lashes that are pre-cut claiming that they're attached underneath and they're probably stole your idea
I just ordered some mink strip lashes which will be my first time using them as I always use individual lashes. I absolutely agree with her on chopping up the strips because that’s what I plan on doing. However I’m going to cut mine into smaller sections so it can last longer. That white glue is ugly and is contrary to all the black mascara and lashes. I recommend using hair bonding glue. Eyelash glue rips your natural lashes off and gets super hard like cement. You can wet hair bonding glue and they slide right off
I have watched many vudeos like this but your obe was broken up into sections beautifully and I loved your close up shots alot. THANK YOU. Your end result is stunning 😇🥰
tried this before, it works. I have an old friend who used to do this and i said “are you wearing lashes? It looks so natural” and she told me about it
Has anyone tried this with contacts? I love the look but I have extreme fear of putting glue so close to the eye and with me being a contact wearer it makes me more nervous.
Love this method! The only trouble I have is how to remove, clean and store it for future use. I usually just put water on the lashes and it comes right off I don’t know if it damages the shape of the lash but I just get lazy and throw them away which is such a waste! How would you store yours?
I like to put some baby oil or an oil makeup remover on my finger tips and then just rub it on my lash line then they easily come off 😊 just make sure u don't put to much oil if your planing to re-use the lashes 😊
I do the under lash method only !! However I don't cut it into pieces nor put on mascara but I do cut the strip to fit my eye Literally undetectable unless you over glue .... I love it
WOW!! I'm impressed! I'd never know those were fake on the one side you did them underneath. Amazing. I might try this, but with my luck, I'll get glue right in my eyeballs..yikes!! 😱 I'm sure there's a learning curve to this. New subbie here! 🤗
thank you😊 The learning curve is practice lol. The first time I did it it took me over 25 min and now I can apply them in less than 5 min, now I can't go back 😂😊
Question--when I have removed false lashes from the upper eye lid under the “standard” method, if I got the lashes too close to my natural lashes, I’ve pulled some natural eyelashes out. How do you not do that applying the lashes underneath directly on the natural lashes?
Okay. Tried it. To me it was easier than applying them the "normal" way AND it looks amazing, but now my eyes are watering and won't stop. I'm not going anywhere tonight so it doesn't matter but if I were actually going out and cared what I looked like this continuous watering would annoy TF out of me and ruin my makeup. Stupid sensitive eyes. :(
so sorry it didn't work out for you :( my advice is try to put it closer to your lash line and give yourself time in between each section . If you feel your eye is getting watery just give your eye a brake then try agian . its just practice girl give it time.😘
DaysFlyBy007 Im not sure if I’m replying to this too late but I also have very sensitive eyes. I tried this glue from Walmart by the brand Kiss. It’s latex free and a brush on. It’s super inexpensive and a great brand. I also use their lashes and both have worked out very well for me.
Give it 2 days to get use to it. If it still dơesnt get better then take them off. I have sensitive eyes too. The same thing happened to me but worser.
You should check out the Lashify lash system. Their lashes are amazing, you can wear them for days, and they’re so easy to apply just remember you don’t use it anywhere near the amount of glue that you are using.
i am going to try this but do you have a hard time keeping track of your lashes since your cutting them into pieces that seems like a problem. where the other way they are at least still in one piece still. so how do you keep track of them in all those little pieces like this one goes with that one. That i would like to know before i go cutting all my lashes up.
Tracy Leblanc I put them back on the lash container in order 😊 if u get the practice u won’t need to cut them I normally don’t cut mine no more I’m able to ably the whole strip . When u cut them it just makes it easier to apply . 💕
I can see that this method would work better because this is kind of how they do them here in New York in the nail salon. They do individual lashes on the waterline

How do you remove the lashes with pulling out your real ones. I keep hewring to use baby oil or whatever.... But wont you end up with oily or ruined false lashes? I hope you see this!
Yes! That is what I want to know too. I found this works really nicely if you have lashes with a clear band. But, then they are stuck to your natural lashes, and I am so afraid of pulling them out. I’m trying to keep what I have. I do use coconut oil and I can rub them off, but then I can’t really use them again and have them look the same. Therein lies the dilemma.
@@chiantibliss5846 With great amounts of emphasis on eyebrows today, kids are very lucky to know how to shape them at a young age. No one showed me how to do it correctly other than " Pluck them with tweezers". I have the most ridiculous looking brows out of anyone. To make it worse, they don't even match! Thanks for letting me know that I'm not alone in my generation (altho I haven't seen any as stupid as mine)!
Great video! I always section my lashes prior to application. I would just add to go sparingly on the glue and of course allow them to get to the "tacky" stage before applying.
hi 😁 iit doesn't burn when you keep it as close as possible to your lash line but if it dose touch your eye ball it will burn just a bit but it doesn't hurt as much as liquid eyeliner in your eye . just be super careful love .. thank you for watching 😘
Jocelyn Marcial yes, ive had liquid eyeliner and it burned. eyelash glue, not so much. my eye just turned watery with glue and both times it was quite a lot of product in my eye lol
Hi! Are you adding the glue underneath(as if placing them on top) or the top of the lash strip? I can't quite tell from the video. Also, does anyone know if the glue loosens when your eyes water? I want to try but am a contact wearer and curious if re- wetting drops or just plain ole natural tears loosen the glue. I dont wanna get caught out here with a hanging lash🤣🤣🤣! I enjoy wearing falsies and wanna try this. Thanks!
Girlfriend that how i did my eyelashes all the time and it last for two weeks and it's much more cleaner i cut mind in three pieces so it's more easily to put on but i always put the middle piece first on my eyelashe then the left and then the right so you want make any mistake put it on one eye..
Yeah she makes it look so so very easy just to set them right on top of her lashes end it takes 3 seconds and it's perfect. It's not so easy in real life for me! I've tried putting them on a hundred times and cannot ever do it that simply
I never cut mine but will definitely try that too. I have success with putting them on whole. I like the sections how you did it. I've been doing this for about six years. I just tried it out because I know I put my individual lashes under so I figured what would it look like if I put a whole strip under 😂 and loved it ever since. To be honest you can actually sleep in them and they last a long time being under. I wear them under for a week and then take them off and wash and condition my lashes before applying another set.
Doesn’t it pull your natural lashes off when you want to take it off? Also my eyes get super watery when applying eyelashes I feel like they’d come off
I wear makeup in a school that doesn’t allow makeup (which is quite weird because I think makeup is another form of art and a way of feeling confident), but anyways I’m going to try this with natural lashes, because if I keep using mascara I might ruin my lashes. Wish me luck
Eyebrows on fleek. I can see me poking myself in the eye or my eyes tearing up. Some concern as well about bacteria being so close to the eye or microabrasions on the surface. You'd have to really make sure the lashes aren't going past the natural lid and rubbing the surface on the eye. Even gives my the heebie jeebies when makeup artists lift their lids and apply their liner. Guess I hate anything near my eyes, but I'm determined on going to start fakse eyelashes and 👌a technique! Cutting them and applying in sections does help a lot!
Lol I had my head phones in ..in my bed .. and I yelled at my kids wat are y'all doing lol.. they like mom were right next to you lol.. it was kids in the background of her video smh
How do you remove them with out ripping off your natural lashes?? I want to try it but I’m scared to ruin my little lashes when I take the falsies off 😥
does anyone know if it holds as long as when you're applying the lashes on top? because there's not as much for the glue to have grip on like on the skin above?
I wear lashes every single day and always apply them under. Anytime I’ve tried to apply them the “normal” way you can see the lash band. This is my first time seeing them applied in sections. Seems like a good tip for the bands that are a bit thicker and harder to work with. Thanks❤️

How do you remove the lashes when you apply under the lash line? Could you please do a video explaining how to do that
I like to put some baby oil or an oil makeup remover on my finger tips and then just rub it on my lash line then they easily come off 😊 just make sure u don't put to much oil if your planing to re-use the lashes 😊
your requested video will be up soon (today) lol should be up in a couple minutes
.😘
Jocelyn Marcial omg thank you!! Your a life save 🙏🏾😊
your welcome 😘

I have natural long eyelashes but i would like more volume, will my natural lashes break off or fall out if I try this???? Thanks for the video!
I do the under lash method only !! However I don't cut it into pieces nor put on mascara but I do cut the strip to fit my eye
Literally undetectable unless you over glue .... I love it
I would be poking my eyes every second because my hands are extremely shaky 😂
The first time I did it it took me over 25 min and now I can apply them in less than 5 min, now I can't go back 😂😊
Love the video! Learned a lot! Love your eyebrows. Do you have eyebrow video?
This is genius omg I tried it lastnight and it looked sooo good like i got lash extensions 😱 it looks great on my hooded eyes ughhh thank you!!
first time applying them!!! it was sooooo easy!!
Thank-you for taking the time to show us both looks. This was a great tutorial!
Linda Leigh Johnson NP thank you for watching I’m glad u liked my video 💕💕
I just bought half lashes today for the first time and this looks a million times better than on top
That's really cool but is it safe?
Think I almost went mf blind doing this. But the 45 mins of doing it was %100 worth it
Great video!!! You did good on showing up close how you put them on!!
Mine too
I love it , I will definitely try your way, the other way does leave gaps. Thank you for sharing.
I do this all the time it's the best method for a natural look 💕
You should check out the Lashify lash system. Their lashes are amazing, you can wear them for days, and they’re so easy to apply just remember you don’t use it anywhere near the amount of glue that you are using.
Your video was helpful I've never put eyelashes before but I'm going to try
So happy I found this, thank you so much, I followed this exactly step by step and it worked beautifully, so grateful 🙏
Yay! so happy it worked for you, thank you for commenting your experience and for watching my video.🤗
i am going to try this but do you have a hard time keeping track of your lashes since your cutting them into pieces that seems like a problem. where the other way they are at least still in one piece still. so how do you keep track of them in all those little pieces like this one goes with that one.
I was wandering if there is any damage after long term use.
omg you are pure genius!!!? 😍 slaying them falses
Nice ! You are very brave having that object close to your eye..girl if this was me it would have been when doing your lashes goes wrong lol
It came out pretty. Id b nervous to try this tho because cant the glue get in your eye when it flakes?
Looks VERY natural and good. Smart hack! Thanks.
OMG I love this methodi just tried it right now for the first and they look gorgeous
Janet Simental 😁😁💕 so happy it worked out for you 💕
Thank you so much I can't do them on top because of my natural lashes so I always do individual underneath and I need it this
I'm sure your natural eyebrows and their shape look better on you. I love your lashes and they look neater
I can see that this method would work better because this is kind of how they do them here in New York in the nail salon. They do individual lashes on the waterline
I'm a nervous wreck shaking beginner so your tutorial looks better than the others so I'm going to start and I'll send pics if it works..RATHER I CAN R CAN'T DUE TO ME U STILL IN THE PLATIUM ARTIST CLUB! FACTZ>I SUBSCRIBED TO U AFTER VIEWING YOUR 6MIN LASH TUTORIAL
I saw you put the lash on top you put them on your lashes? How do you remove without pulling your lashes out? For both?
How do you remove the lashes with pulling out your real ones. I keep hewring to use baby oil or whatever.... But wont you end up with oily or ruined false lashes?
I hope you see this!
Yes! That is what I want to know too. I found this works really nicely if you have lashes with a clear band. But, then they are stuck to your natural lashes, and I am so afraid of pulling them out. I’m trying to keep what I have. I do use coconut oil and I can rub them off, but then I can’t really use them again and have them look the same. Therein lies the dilemma.
These kids are going to look like my mama’s generation eye brows look. You will have bald lids messing around with that glue.👁👁
@Panda Rush I am sure you look great! You can fill them in like we all do. ☺️
@@chiantibliss5846 LOL oh man...at times I over-fill ( I STILL don't have the hang of it) and think "oh geez now I have Joan Crawford brows!"
Girl you need to let the glue dry first... but I love this !! Looks so much better than the regular way
Do you have a tutorial on taking the lashes off?
doing them on the upper water line is coming back in???
Ig I started doing it like this too its look so natural and pretty
Great video! I always section my lashes prior to application. I would just add to go sparingly on the glue and of course allow them to get to the "tacky" stage before applying.
What are your thoughts on wearing bottom false lashes? To maybe give it a more dramatic look?
I just wanted to know if this can last 2-3 weeks or it is the same as falsies that you have to remove after? thanks
Great video! Did the glue not burn your eye?
hi 😁 iit doesn't burn when you keep it as close as possible to your lash line but if it dose touch your eye ball it will burn just a bit but it doesn't hurt as much as liquid eyeliner in your eye . just be super careful love .. thank you for watching 😘
Jocelyn Marcial thank you 😊
Jocelyn Marcial yes, ive had liquid eyeliner and it burned. eyelash glue, not so much. my eye just turned watery with glue and both times it was quite a lot of product in my eye lol
Great tip. Have never tried underneath but looks amazing
You should!
Applying under own eye lashes? WHAT A GREAT CONCEPT!👍
thx 4 the tip.......
Thanks!
I want to see them up close where we can see both at same time instead of one at a time. Thanks love this
THANK YOU!!! I’m gonna try this
Girlfriend that how i did my eyelashes all the time and it last for two weeks and it's much more cleaner i cut mind in three pieces so it's more easily to put on but i always put the middle piece first on my eyelashe then the left and then the right so you want make any mistake put it on one eye..
Thanks Jocelyn! Looks beautiful on you! I'm gonna go try this right now....lol
Can you do a video on how to
Clean them the regular way then the ones you cut
It looks way more easier than applying them on top and the glue can't be that harmful its made for the eyes anyway can't wait to try!
smokeahontas everyday honestly it is easier and after all the practice it only gets easier and definitely more comfortable
Doesn’t it pull your natural lashes off when you want to take it off? Also my eyes get super watery when applying eyelashes I feel like they’d come off
How do I stop my eyes from watering so much while doing this? It hurts lol
I have done this under eye lash for years but I don't cut just glue strip... Less work .. Super fast... Natural look.
Lol I had my head phones in ..in my bed .. and I yelled at my kids wat are y'all doing lol.. they like mom were right next to you lol.. it was kids in the background of her video smh
How do you remove them with out ripping off your natural lashes??
I want to try it but I’m scared to ruin my little lashes when I take the falsies off 😥
Hi, how do u remove the lashes after u’ve applied the fake eyelashes below ur natural lashes? Will it more tedious?
does anyone know if it holds as long as when you're applying the lashes on top? because there's not as much for the glue to have grip on like on the skin above?
Hi. Thank you for sharing. I will try it. Love 😍👍
hiiii no problem .. 😍
Most lash glue has formaldehyde in it. Duo does. I think kiss aloe doesn't, so maybe use that one.
Great video did it irritate your eye applying under?
I wear lashes every single day and always apply them under. Anytime I’ve tried to apply them the “normal” way you can see the lash band. This is my first time seeing them applied in sections. Seems like a good tip for the bands that are a bit thicker and harder to work with. Thanks❤️
