Nature does what nature does, I am only amazed that people live at the edge for years and only after 'oh there's a cliff' or on top of a volcano and 'oh it erupts'
because the edge gets closer and closer, historic towns and homes that were formerly miles away are now finding themselves looking down the barrel of destruction because of rising sea levels and coastal erosion.
Not me thinking this was Norfolk, Virginia at first.

Sorry but you would surely check out the area and the fact Coastal Erosion is happening you would hope the surveyors would say something ?.
I’m in my 50’s and remember Coastal Erosion being a major issue on the Coast of Norfolk in my lifetime so ??.
It’s like the people who moan about the Railway when they buy a House within earshot of the Railway !! Surely Common Sense dictates that there might be the odd train that goes past or railway maintenance is going to take place at some time during your lifetime ??.
It’s the same with people who buy a House next to a River and then Moan when there is a Flood ?? I mean come on ?? Think
