Just made me cry 😢 thank you so much for bringing back such happy memories raising our son 0-5 years of age whilst living here . Thank you so so much🙏🙏🙏
I absolutely love your videos, especially this one. I love the sounds of the sea too, which you've captured as we walk... Cromer is so special to me, and you've taken me there, when I'm unable to get there myself... Thank you for making my day!
Have spent many happy holidays in Cromer with nice walks along the cliff top to the lighthouse and golf course and beyond to Overstrand. The town has character with the air of a typical seaside resort. An added bonus of course is just a few miles along the coast you have another very nice place in the form of Sheringham. Two for the price of one! Definitely a mark of ten for both.
Absolutely love cromer been so many times I lived at raton I was a crab pot fisherman for two years Norfolk is a gem in the uk simply love Norfolk unspoilt clean lovely people and so.much to do and see😊
A lovely video. 10/10 for Cromer. I remember as a child (and not liking school very much) a two week holiday here was heaven! I live in Essex now but hope to retire to Cromer soon.
I'm looking at moving over to Norfolk, Suffolk or Lincolnshire next year and your videos are helping. Cromer is stunning. The blue sea, great beach, big skies and that wonderful church. Superb! 👍👍👍👍
We used to stay in East Runton at my parents caravan and its a nice walk along the beach to Cromer. Theres a nice walk along the clifftop towards the lighthouse with great views back to Cromer pier.
My favourite place been so many times fished off the pier and lived in Runton for a couple of years crab pot fishing as a job. You'll be hard to come across anyone who's been cromer and said they don't like the place is simply beautiful
Lovely video thanks, Cromer is very nice I’m looking forward to going in a few weeks, but my favourite seaside town is Seahouses in Northumberland, that like Cromer has everything a seaside town should have. God bless you for all your hard work, keep it up.
HI, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR VIDEO. I WAS INVITED TO VISIT CROMER BUT COULDN'T MAKE IT. SO WATCHED & SUBSCRIBED AFTER WATCHING THIS 🤗 NEXT TOUR I,LL MAKE SURE I HAVE SOME FISH & CHIPS READY FOR YOUR SHOW & TELL. ❎❤️❎❤️❎🥰👍
I went to Cromer when I was 12, long time ago now! I remember the part where the grass is past the lifeboat museum. We used to take the b&bs dog out for long walks. Lovely place, I could almost smell the sea in your video. Thanks for taking me back there
Cromer and town look really lovely. Also looking at the beach looks amazing and the whole thing looks so beautiful as well. I think that is amazing. Seafront a😊
I live just a few miles away, cracking place….If you ever visit in Winter in a Northerly gale the sea is very different and angry !, I will never forget the famous storm surge 2013,
That looks like a wonderful place for a holiday and beach and sea and the shops and restaurants and other attractions and and the views of the hotels and bars thanks Neil and I give that 10 also the seafood and crabs and it is nice and sunny and quiet as well
The lifeboat station is actually right at the end of the pier. The old lifeboat station that you saw I believe is part of the museum 🙂. At the start of your walk you missed the goats that graze on the cliffs where the white steps are that take you up to the road. Thanks for a beautiful video from a Mundesley dweller 🙂
I've fond memories of Cromer after first taking a holiday there some 50 years ago, Neil. Spending many happy hour fishing with a crab line off the end of the pier and walking along the beach on a hot day is a few of the many things I'd recommend there. 👍👍
Lovely place is Cromer, the very best crab sandwiches too, 9 out of 10 from us, I thought you would have gone the the very end of the pier to where the life boat station is, maybe next time, great vlog Neil
Yes 9 its so peaceful - no bright noisy arcades. I really struggle to get to a beach now due to mobility issues. Have only seen the sea once in the past 5 yrs 😢
@@GimbalWalkTV Lovely memories thank you, her brother lives near the fish and chip restaurant near the Lifeboat Museum. That Lifeboat Station is for the inshore lifeboat and the all weather lifeboat is launched from the end of the pier.
That must be a place to go for a visit and touring around looking something to eat? Question: if there wasn't any noise on the street, would that be ok to have early walk until the sun rises?
10:18 Just as you said what a beautiful place Cromer is and there are beautiful views everywhere you look there was some bloke bent over showing his bum crack. 😂
Does anyone remember in the early 1960s watching the new lifeboat arrive at Cromer? I am not sure if it was the Henry Blogg or if that was the out going boat, and it being very unceremoniously damaged before it could be accepted? It was very sad because all the town Dignitaries and a great many visitors were watching. The boat had to return to the boatyard for repair! No one seems to remember, perhaps it was one of those things best not remembered!
ypu comment weather as windy, and yes, i´d noticed it since video started.. same thing, about the saound of fighters. it´s easy to encounter unusual thngs anywhere, but it makes things interesting don´t you think so?
I love Cromer and have spent many years caravaning at east Runton, 10/10
This video is still one I
enjoy coming back to.
Thank you

I’d give Cromer 9/10. My neighbours love it there and I’ll definitely have to visit but I’m afraid my heart belongs to Scarborough 😀
Yes, my son and I have been to Cromer and we love it there too, he had a favourite bench to sit on
Ah lovely - I love things like that!
Been to Cromer, nice place! It's where I first had candy floss! 😊
Amazing - candy floss is great isn’t it!

Small but Nice seaside town

I was going to but have done it so many times on the channel I thought people might be sick of it 🤣
9 out of 10
Yes 9 its so peaceful - no bright noisy arcades. I really struggle to get to a beach now due to mobility issues. Have only seen the sea once in the past 5 yrs 😢
Lovely place score 9 like sandy beaches not to keen on pebbles still a fab place though
I know what you mean about pebbles
I loved Cromer, my lovely Mother in Law was born there.
Sadly, she passed away about 16 months ago.
Oh no sorry to hear that
I hope my video brought back some happy memories for you x

Oh yes! No problem at all
Cromer looks lovely, thanks for the upload again. Any recommendations of hotels to stay in there?

Not sure of prices tho
@@GimbalWalkTV Thanks, will google it.

Lovely stuff - agree with your score
10:18 Just as you said what a beautiful place Cromer is and there are beautiful views everywhere you look there was some bloke bent over showing his bum crack. 😂
Actually at the end of the pier behind the theatre is the lifeboat station which is open to the public.

6 out of 10; great looking place place but can't do a pebble beach, and not keen on crabs. Sandy beaches for me
Can’t beat a sandy beach
It's where they filmed the ending of you rang my lord..... 😊😊😊💖
I need to see that!
I bet it’s on UA-cam
ypu comment weather as windy, and yes, i´d noticed it since video started.. same thing, about the saound of fighters. it´s easy to encounter unusual thngs anywhere, but it makes things interesting don´t you think so?
Very much so!
For a resort Cromer is looked after, the propertys are cared for painted etc, not grubby and peeling
True!
Lovely in the summer, dead in the winter.
Similar to all uk seasides really I suppose
😎 9
❤️❤️❤️
Is there free parking any where?
Depends how far you’re prepared to walk really
This Guy's Feet were made for walking....and that is just wot they'll Do !
Yeh but they don't half ache now 🤣
Are they dog friendly beaches please
4not much to do seen one beach you have seen them all
I guess it depends what you want to do!
