    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  2 місяці тому

      Hey @LohTze-ul4vp! Sorry your toe is still hurting. Here are a few tips to help it heal faster:
      1. Rest: Avoid putting pressure on your toe.
      2. Ice: Apply an ice pack for 15-20 minutes to reduce swelling.
      3. Elevation: Keep your foot elevated to reduce bruising and swelling.
      4. Compression: Wrap your toe with a bandage, but not too tightly.
      5. Pain Relief: Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen can help manage pain and inflammation.
      If the pain continues or you're worried about any potential injury, it's a good idea to chat with a healthcare professional for guidance. Take care!

      Hello, @nightmare3564! Since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your toe, I can't for sure recommend what exercises you should do. However, I can offer some general advice for dealing with a broken big toe that's still stiff and lacking full range of motion after 4 weeks.
      It's essential to address the issue of trembling when attempting to move your toe with a healthcare professional. It could be due to muscle weakness or nerve involvement, and they will be able to assess and guide you accordingly.

      Excessive extension, or hypermobility, in the dip joint of your toe, can affect your balance and stability. While I'm unable to do a physical exam on your toe, I can provide some general suggestions on how to address this issue. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional, such as a podiatrist or physical therapist, for a proper evaluation and personalized guidance. Here are some steps you can consider:
      Weak toe muscles can contribute to hypermobility. You can work on strengthening the muscles in your toes by doing toe exercises. For example, you can practice picking up small objects with your toes or try "toe doming" exercises, which involve lifting and curling your toes while keeping the rest of your foot flat.
      There are specific exercises designed to improve control and stability. One simple exercise is toe-tapping: Sit with your feet flat on the floor and lift each toe one at a time while keeping the others down. Repeat this for each toe on both feet.
      A physical therapist can create a customized exercise program to help improve the strength, flexibility, and stability of your toes and feet.
      Practice controlled movements of your toes, such as scrunching a towel with your toes or making circles with your big toe while keeping the others still.
      Remember that it may take time to improve your toe stability, and it's essential to progress gradually and consistently with your exercises and therapy. Hypermobility can be managed and improved with the right approach, but it's crucial to work with a healthcare professional who can provide a tailored plan based on your specific condition.

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  11 місяців тому

      Ouch! I'm sorry to hear about what happened, @oldjebidiahbrown2454. Since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your hip, I can't for sure recommend what exercises you should do. However, the loud "DING" noise and the dark purple color could indicate a potentially serious injury, such as a fracture, dislocation, or severe contusion. Please seek our medical attention as soon as possible.
      In the meantime, it's essential to keep your injured toe as still as possible. Avoid putting any weight on it and try to keep it elevated to reduce swelling. Apply ice to the injured area (with a cloth between the ice and your skin) for short periods (15-20 minutes at a time) to help reduce swelling and alleviate pain. You can also take over-the-counter pain relievers as directed on the packaging.
      Please don't ignore or underestimate the seriousness of your injury. Traumatic injuries like this can have long-term consequences if not treated properly. Seek medical attention promptly to ensure the best possible outcome for your toe.

      @FeelGoodLife  10 місяців тому

      Hi, @lingarajulingarajuhs3086. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your toe. Since you can't move your big toe downward, it could be due to various reasons like scar tissue. I accidentally stubbed my toe with the bed frame two days ago and it hurt like hell. I could barely walk but since then I’ve applied ice pack thrice and it has helped, but the swelling won’t go away and it still hurts. Any tips you would like to give to help pain vanish completely?

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  8 місяців тому

      Hi @kushparmar1989! Ouch, stubbing your toe really hurts. Good to hear you're using an ice pack to ease the initial pain! Here are a few additional tips that might aid in reducing the swelling and discomfort:
      1. Elevate your foot to minimize swelling.
      2. Consider over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen.
      3. Wrap the injured toe with a snug compression bandage.
      4. Give your toe some rest and avoid unnecessary pressure.
      5. Try warm foot soaks after initial swelling subsides.
      6. Keep an eye out for bruising or discoloration.
      7. If pain persists, consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice. Wishing you a quick recovery!

    I suddenly lost control and my motorcycle fell on my toe, and my god it hurts to even walk because it is swollen

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  9 місяців тому

      Oh no, @tommy.O9! I'm really sorry about your motorcycle accident, and I hope you're okay.
      What I can suggest for you to do is to keep your foot up to reduce swelling and avoid putting weight on the injured toe. Try not to walk on the injured foot. Consider using crutches or other aids to reduce pressure on the toe. Apply a cloth-wrapped ice pack to the swollen area for 15-20 minutes at a time. This can help reduce swelling and numb the pain. Because of the injury's nature and the pain you're feeling, it's a good idea to see a healthcare professional. They can assess the damage, possibly take X-rays, and guide you on care and recovery.

      I'm really sorry to hear that you're in so much pain and discomfort, @Lumiere20. Since we aren't able to do a physical exam and see exactly what is going on with your toe ring, I can't for sure recommend what exercises you should do. However, it's essential for you to take this injury seriously and get the appropriate medical attention. While a sprained or fractured toe might not seem as severe as a whole foot injury, it can still be quite painful and impact your daily life.

      Hi, @AdamA90876! If you got hurt and even though you can move your toes, there's still pain, swelling, or other worrying signs, it's smart to see a doctor. They can check how bad the injury is, possibly with X-rays, and guide you on what to do next.
      For now, if moving your toes doesn't hurt too much, gentle exercises might help. But if any movement worsens the pain, it's better to stop and wait until you can talk to a doctor. Always pay attention to how your body feels.

      1. Keep weight off the injured toe and avoid activities that make it hurt, like football.
      2. Apply ice for 15-20 minutes several times a day
      3. Use a bandage to reduce swelling
      4. Keep your foot up to reduce swelling, ideally with the toe above your heart.
      5. Take over-the-counter pain meds as directed
      6. Avoid running and jumping activities until your toe heals.
      If pain continues or it might be more than a sprain, consult a healthcare pro for proper care. Remember, take it easy and follow medical advice for a full recovery.

    Hi my toe dip joint have éxesive extension (hypermobility)i cant stand on my toes corectely how i can fix it

    • @FeelGoodLife
      @FeelGoodLife  10 місяців тому

      Hi, @nightmare3564 Excessive extension, or hypermobility, in the dip joint of your toe, can affect your balance and stability.
