Apart from different color schemes and scowls, nothing was really different, and I even remember waking up and questioning if it even counted as a nightmare.
The "DJ Lance Rock Tiktok account" one really warms my heart, love seeing actors reprising their roles out of love for the role itself years later, shows that they never forget those times.

I precisely remember watching Mish’s Mario 64 ice berg all those months ago and thinking, “Wow, what a cool format idea. I just don’t think that there’s another game with deep enough lore that would be able to make another ice berg.”
i think something you could've put on this iceberg is the connection to the early 2000s webtoon homestar runner, since one of the creators of homestar (matt chapman) was a director and writer on yo gabba gabba for a time. good video nonetheless! edit: right after posting this i remembered something else that could've gone on here: the strong connection to the new-wave band DEVO. the lead singer is mark mothersbaugh, who is seen in the Mark's Magic Pictures segments. DEVO even performed a song on the show!
Also, if you didn’t know: The show was pulled from all of Nick Jr.’s platforms in the U.S. and Canada on June 25, 2019. Possibly due to Viacom losing the rights to air the show?
I was absolutely terrified of this show as a kid like no joke if this show was on I would run out of the room bc this show scared the shit out of me I wasn’t even that scared of a lot of shows as a kid besides the Arthur dream/nightmare scenario sequences ( sometimes ) and the pingu intro
_god the kick of nostalgia i got from seeing this is crazy. i remember playing that arcade minigame as clear as day, it was my favorite flash game on the nick site._
My lord, this show was literally everything to me when I was little. Most of the songs are stuck in my head to this day, and that theme song is still a banger.
you just unlocked a whole memory I forgot about when you mentioned the mini arcade game part. I remember playing a game that featured Foppa (The oink one idk her name) and your goal was to collect daisies or flowers of some sort. That's all I remember of the game itself.
There was always something off to me about this show, even when i was a little kid. Especially the pink one, for reason that raised some red flags for some reason when i was little.
I’m surprised there wasn’t a mention of the “original” toodee. In short, there was an uglydoll character named toodee, unrelated to yo gabba gabba. The creator, david horvath, retired the character somewhat early out of respect for the yo gabba gabba team
fun fact: my dad was collage roommates with DJ Lance Rock (yes he is actually a DJ, same with my dad lol) and I would get free backstage tickets to live shows for Yo Gabba Gabba, they would also come over to our house for dinner sometimes and I thought it was normal and that everyone knew someone famous until I got older. I still haven’t seen his sense I was 8 but I hope he’s doing good lol
As kid born in 2000, I felt I was too old to watch this show. However, I do remember watching an episode or two. What I remember the most is that they made a guest appearance on another live action sitcom! They were stuck inside a closet or room with the main characters, and actually help them escape.
I finished watching the Pvz iceberg what the hell- Anywho I remembered watching this as a kid and I had the plushies of the robot dude and green monster (forgot their names lol)

i think something you could've put on this iceberg is the connection to the early 2000s webtoon homestar runner, since one of the creators of homestar (matt chapman) was a director and writer on yo gabba gabba for a time. good video nonetheless!
edit: right after posting this i remembered something else that could've gone on here: the strong connection to the new-wave band DEVO. the lead singer is mark mothersbaugh, who is seen in the Mark's Magic Pictures segments. DEVO even performed a song on the show!
Also, if you didn’t know: The show was pulled from all of Nick Jr.’s platforms in the U.S. and Canada on June 25, 2019. Possibly due to Viacom losing the rights to air the show?
I was absolutely terrified of this show as a kid like no joke if this show was on I would run out of the room bc this show scared the shit out of me
I wasn’t even that scared of a lot of shows as a kid besides the Arthur dream/nightmare scenario sequences ( sometimes ) and the pingu intro
OMG SAME
Thought I was the only one 😂
Man, I do not give af if I’m in my twenties - “Party In My Tummy” will always be an absolute BANGER.
okay that clip of the actor for dj lance rock saying hi to that kid was adorable like :")
Man this show was a huge part of my childhood, thanks for making this.
This unlocked some stowed-away memories.
i thought "there's a party in my city" was some kind of partycity ad
Same
Gonna be honest, up until the WandaVision cameo, I had forgotten this show existed for years
you just unlocked a whole memory I forgot about when you mentioned the mini arcade game part.
The one who creeped me out the most was the red one, idk why thought
@@Coughdropeater the green one creeped me out so much as a little girl idk why tho
I forgot this show, thought it was some weird fever dream.
This, right here. This is everything I have ever wanted, more answers to the enigma that is Yo Gabba Gabba.
I never watched the show, all I knew before watching this video is that the Brothers Chaps (of Homestar Runner fame) worked on it.
When I was little around baby age I don’t know why but when Jack Black came on screen I lost my stuff an had a heart attack out of fear.
I’m surprised there wasn’t a mention of the “original” toodee.
In short, there was an uglydoll character named toodee, unrelated to yo gabba gabba. The creator, david horvath, retired the character somewhat early out of respect for the yo gabba gabba team
Is it just me or does the animated segments in Yo Gabba Gabba remind me a LOT of Parappa The Rappa and Um Jammer Lammy? (Mostly Um Jammer Lammy)
YASSSS!
fun fact: my dad was collage roommates with DJ Lance Rock (yes he is actually a DJ, same with my dad lol) and I would get free backstage tickets to live shows for Yo Gabba Gabba, they would also come over to our house for dinner sometimes and I thought it was normal and that everyone knew someone famous until I got older. I still haven’t seen his sense I was 8 but I hope he’s doing good lol
Our family is friends with DJ lance rock
that is true we were both in yo gabba gabba
As kid born in 2000, I felt I was too old to watch this show. However, I do remember watching an episode or two. What I remember the most is that they made a guest appearance on another live action sitcom! They were stuck inside a closet or room with the main characters, and actually help them escape.
Gooble is too relatable......
I finished watching the Pvz iceberg what the hell-
Anywho I remembered watching this as a kid and I had the plushies of the robot dude and green monster (forgot their names lol)
Plex is the robot and Brobee is the monster
@@marcusblackwell2372 Thanks Mate
@@MellowMarsh85 don't mention it
I have brobbe
I remember both the show and aquabats, but I had no clue there was a tie between them
jeez this is nostalgia.
The show feels like the banana splits because of the suits and the human which is stevey
you ain’t gotta apologize for the list being small, jesus christ the effort you put in is remarkable, plus thank the stars you didn’t have to deal with several more hours of editing, kickass vid!
Ive been watching this show with my child for the last two years. Unabashedly love it as a 30 year old. Lol.
Aw, that’s kinda wholesome! I’m sure your child will go on a nostalgia trip a few years later and remember this show!
