- Alright. Finally got this all edited. The plus side of this new tutorial format is that it is much quicker to film, but I make up for it in the editing. So it goes.
If you have any questions, let me know in the comments and I will do my best to answer them.

Nobody does this, what a generous artist thou art. Thank you. I love your work.
Ben, in short, thanks for sharing your art...
I was hoping for a tutorial of this song for some years ahahaha. My desires have been answered
nice! loving that you're doing tutorials to accompany the acoustics you've been uploading, thats really neat and nice of u!! hope all is going well for you dude!
It's wonderful to finally know how to play my favorite song of yours! Thank you as always for your wonderful music.
You are an absolute legend for doing this. Thank you
Thank you! This is the best tutorial format I've ever seen. Incredibly helpful.
This is one of my favourite songs of yours, thank you so much for this. I have a question : what had you in mind when you wrote the line "Farewell to the chains we were born into" ? This line means a lot to me, I have it painted on my wall. Love you.
It's about moving beyond the circumstances you grew up within. I have always liked the phrase "the accident of our birth", because it is something you have no say about. But when you get a chance to make your own way, later in life (doesn't happen for everyone, though), you can shed the chains and carve your own path. The song is about making that leap, and getting over the fear of it.
@@RadicalFace Thank you for taking the time to answer. And thank you for helping me sail my own boat the past years !
i absolutely adore this song! i recently began writing songs, and a lot of my inspiration to even try songwriting comes from your music, so these tutorials really feel like such a gift whenever you make them! thank you so, so much for taking the time to explain how to play your music and even to talk about some of the songwriting choices behind it, you get a huge grin and the biggest "thank you" from me every time you post one =v=
Love this! Handsome guy sharing incredible art! Wish my fingers would obey commands and play like this.
Thanks, Ben. The Moon is Down and this one really hit home!
This song is sooooo warm. Thank you for the feels
Thank you so much for uploading this! Im so proud of you for what you have become! This is my favorite song, it helps me being sad when I need to be sad but then, it fills me with dreams and hope.
Even without lyrics this gives me peace
Yessssss I love this song! Please keep making these tutorials!
Thank you for this amazing tutorial Ben! Hope you're doing well during this pandemic
Thank you, and the same to you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this Ben! You are a hero!
Thank you so much ben, if youre doing more an acoustic adaptation of old gemini would be really cool but also itd be really nice to see wandering or let the river in too. Thank you so much for all this makes me feel more in touch with your music when i play it to know for certain i its a fairly authentic version
I love everything about this.
Thank you soo much! This is wonderful
Thanks for this! I love the song!
I'm astonished that I can learn your song directly from you! thousands thanks. your songs hit and vibrate every string of muscles that my myocardiocytes forming in my heart. songs like "mountains", "the gilded hand", "secrets", "holy branches", "the mute" and of course this one above (and many more) are just perfections. I can't describe how much I appreciate your music. Do you know this feeling you get as a beginner guitar player (which I am and will be forever as I am an amateur player) when you hear the exact type of songs that describe your inner musical language/feeling? So that (: thank you again for sharing in such informative way
I thought you had really cool stairs before realizing that's a poster. XD
Those are stairs to a fairy world where they eat people alive. Don't take them.
Thank you very much! I'm trying to figure out the string picking pattern, so thanks for playing it slowed down. Greetings from Guatemala!
Thank you a lot, man. You're amazing. Your songs are inspiring) Keep doing this stuff as we love it so much. Actually, my favourite song of yours is Black Eyes. But I couldn't find proper tabs\chords in Internet. I tried to find some chords by ear, but still it doesn't sound like your version. So I would be so glad if you make tutorial for Black Eyes. Thanks)
Please, do a tutorial on Small Hands (Acoustic) It was the best gift! I love you and thanks for your art ^^
Thanks Ben 💙
Beautifuuuuulll
This song is so so beautiful, thank you for the tutorial!! Can you please do a tutorial for Personal Giants and Hard of Hearing?
1) I fucking love that you do this. What a cool way to share your music
2) I found myself inspired by your song "Ashes" and want to learn it on the piano. However, I can't find sheet music anywhere. Have you ever considered a piano tutorial?
I'm hoping for a piano tutorial of any song from you
I don't think I'm a good enough pianist for that. It's why I don't ever play piano live. On records, I try a hundred times if I need to, so it's a bit different. But hey, I am using this quarantine to practice all the things I'm not good at, so maybe soon I'll get there.
Saludame si puedes, eres el mejor,te amoooo :')
From Russia with love!
I love you Ben ❤️
Would love a tutorial for Family Portrait !!
Any plans for an electric president tutorial? The S/T electric president albums still one of my favorite all time albums.
Not currently. These all take me about 10 hours a piece, so I make them based on the amount of requests. That record doesn't come up much.
If it makes any difference I would absolutely second any Electric President tutorials.
This is great I'd love to try it out myself. One thing that confuses me a bit is that the chord overlay doesn't lign up with the way the notes are played on the guitar. I think the overlay would need to be spun around. That would make it more readable in my opinion
Can we get a hard of hearing tutorial either version and I would be forever in your debt
love you song
Awesome stuff!
When you do the chorus, and you do that strum (that I've only ever seen you do 😅) with the thumb and index finger - are you just hitting the high string with your index?
I tend to brush the top 2 or 3 strings, depending on which sounds better for the chord.
@@RadicalFace Ah cool, I tend to have trouble getting the sound right, so wasn't sure - thank you for this, your work, and the hugs in Dublin 😊
More tutorials! :)
Sou do Brasil, ouço suas músicas que são ótimas.
Please, do you can teach Welcome Home, Always Gold and Ghost Towns???? They're my favorite songs!!!! Thanks for tutorials!
You're in luck! All of these are already made. I recently reorganized the whole channel so they're easier to find. Here is a link to the playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLz0NgKsarCsSOaCHZrKfsqtvzrh_exdaU.html
