- Here's the tutorial on Always Gold. I'm not sure how helpful it is, as the song has a good amount of finger picking in it and I'm not entirely sure how to communicate that. But I figure you can at least get all the chords and maybe put the rest together yourself.

Just bought a guitar and eager to learn, this song is one of the main reasons I even bought a guitar. First heard this song in 2014 when I was in college, was going through a rough time and this song really touched my heart in a special way. Still one of my favorite songs to this day, listen to it all the time. I know this video is 10 years old now lol, but just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to give a tutorial on how to play it and thanks for making such a beautiful song to begin with

What are the four chords that he plays before the picking happens? (It is right after the humming, in the song. ) I believe the first is a C, then not sure after that.

In the beginning of the chorus, around 8:50, what F is he playing? He says it's the F from before, but the X 3 3 2 X X that he used in the verse doesn't sound like what he's playing here.
