He says he wishes he was a money-driven business owner (implying that isn't what he is), yet his decision to lay off employees was driven by money. I'd love to get a hold of their financials and see what his executive comp was.
About the crying: tears don't make your mortgage payments. Tears don't do ANYTHING. Leaders are men/women of ACTION, not of crying. Crying accomplishes nothing, for men or women. I'm not saying their isn't a time and place to shed a tear, but, c'mon, a public LinkedIn post? Just follow your gut - I mean look at that picture, man! Does that look like a leader to YOU? A leader is pragmatic, solution-oriented, and forward-thinking. I've seen this behavior before - textbook narcissist.
And this business about how you love your employees? What does that even mean? You love your wife, your kids, and maybe your pet dog. An employee is providing a service for your business in exchange for financial compensation. That's not love. That's a business relationship.

nah I don't want a pay cut, instead I'll give a few people a 100% pay cut so I can stay comfortable.

If it would be for me, everyone would Help each other, Landlords would only charge a Certain Amt. for Rent and Nobody would be on the Streets. The whole nation would have medical Care without having to Pay Extra for it. I would never See people with Metal on their faces, there would be No Criminals, no rapists, and NObody would ever use Drugs, Rap Noise "music" would be considered illegal and never be heard AGAIN. This guy makes me sick. If he genuinely cared or was bothered about the decision he made, he had other options to consider- taking a pay cut, starting a go fund me for the employees he laid off.... Firing himself for his bad business decisions. 🤔
