It makes the most sense that Cahara is canon for ending A. He is going into it without some noble goal, power, or vengeance, he is going in just to be able to support his lover and her child. The Girl and him are basically the child/parent dynamic of that, and the god giving a gentle death for the only person who cared about her fits that vibe. Instead of trying to crawl away from the god, I could see him accepting his death and lying at the feet of the girl's new form.
Technically you can crawl away from the God of Fear and Hunger when you're playing as Cahara in ending A if you want. You're in complete control of him. But most videos on UA-cam have the player crawling up to her. Either way, everything else, I agree with 100% and GoFaH's benevolence in Termina is likely a result of Cahara's compassion for her.

His S-Ending is him obtaining treasure and securing his family's future, but he end up being traumatized 24/7. Despite what ending he gets, he ended up suffering either way.

I like to think that Legarde did infact die and was resurrected by D'arce, only to THEN become a new god afterward. It just seems more likely that you'd find him dead versus alive, and who's to say he couldn't ascend after being resurrected. He'd still be power-hungry after all
Well the thing is, and correct me if I'm wrong, but if legarde becomes a new god he brings peace to both the west and the east but in termina only (I forgot which side but it was only one side) that was united and in peace. Making it more likely he was just ressurected and took that as being a new god rather than sitting on the chair.

At the end of the day, Legarde knew of the throne prior to being imprisoned. He knew what he came to the dungeons for. He knew about ascension to a certain degree and what it took to become a new god, and even if he did get caught up in his resurrection for a while with his plan not going entirely as expected, he had to have reached the throne at some point to gain the level of power and influence we see him at in Termina

For me, Cahara's ending S and A are both canon but done on separate timelines. After acquiring the treasures ,got back alive to the surface and lived a happy life for years, Cahara was driven insane by his PTSD. He decided to go back once more to settle it. And that's when he met the girl.
Maybe it's the opposite, he finds the girl and helps her ascend, the girl kills him and revives him without the memories of what happened. He explores the dungeon and gets the treasure (cage empty) and leaves but with that sense of foreboding knowing he's forgetting something

Based on everything seen on Termina, I think it happened like this -Rag, Enki and Moonless saw Legarde dead so _Rag left with moonless_ (canon) and _Enki stayed to write the bibles_ (canon), I'd like to believe that they saved Buckman's team too -Darce, nashrah, girl and Cahara went to resurrect Legarde, then took him to Mahabre where they saw Nilvan, then Cahara and Girl went to the bottom and the _girl ascended_ (canon) - _Nashrah and Legarde had an argument at the throne_ (canon), so Legarde ascended and Darce and Nashrah tried to catch up with Cahara, arrived late, _Grogoroth burned Nashrah_ (canon) and klled Darce.

Ragnvaldr's ending S is actually not canon. Because one of souls that he has to capture with soul stones is Crow Mauler's, but he shows up in O'saa's backstory/text adventure. He probably just took Moonless as a pet and B-lined to Le'garde's jail cell to kill him.
Crow mauler lives even after you kill him though, Ragnavaldr went on a massive monster extermination quest and succeeded to hard that they became folk-lore

They could be canon in lore, but not in game. They just could not meet together in dungeon, also their endings don't contradict each other, so i think they all possible at the same time Edit: i forgot that there is horror and starvation mode where you couldnt recruit anybody.
You know what's my personal crazy theory about Cahara in fear and hunger? its that he was involved in the birth of the God of Fear and Hunger, but as the author said that every ending was cannon , atleast in some degree, it could be possible that Cahara was saved and got out of the dungeon, and something even crazier I imagine, is that he is the ancestor of the mayor of Prehevil in F&H Termina, as there is a leather vest (not the same model but could be a reference) as it is more like a family relic.
Cahara just accepted his fate, he was already contented by the fact that he took care of the girl well and probably thought of his unborn child and wife

My own personal headcanon is that every character except D’Arce got their S Endings while D’Arce got both ending A and ending C. This mostly comes from wanting Cahara to live lol however I do think that D’Arce would save the Girl and then choose to take her to the darkness after being betrayed by Le’Garde to get the C ending.
I kinda think that D’arce after reviving Le’garde just went through C ending route and made Le’garde a god but being a shade of his former self, he didn’t become a full on yellow king
I could see all S as canon, Enki or Darce could have brought the girl down after their ending and even survived the confrontation. It could even be someone else entirely who came to the dungeon after the four who did it. The real canon events are voluntarily kept in the dark anyway.

There are two differing consensus about it but the two are 1. Nash'rah tried picking a fight with gro-gorath after GOFAH was born and 2. He was apart of cahara's team which means cahara fought two gods which is crazy
Cahara's ending is A. All the others got their S ending but D'arce went and then went on to get Ending C after reviving Le'Garde. I suspect that D'arce may also have become a new god as well because she's not one to give up on being with Le'Garde so easily
Everyone said rags s ending wasn’t canon but it makes the most sense. He went in and cleared most of the dungeon for the others to make it as far as they did.
Keep in mind cahara is only the A ending candidate by default. It’s entirely possible it was done by some other random person who entered, and cahara just didn’t have any relevance to termina as he just lived in a mansion with his family for the rest of his life not really achieving anything more.
I think raganvolds ending is also Canon because it states he goes around the word slaying monsters. And the country of Vinland by termina is now becoming some what habitable for people.
I dont think that D'arces ending S is canon, because in Termina Le'garde makes a mention of Na'srah telling him about the trap that is ascension, this conversation in the first game doesn't happen in D'arces S ending as Le'garde would have already died by then and wouldn't have gotten the chance to even meet Na'srah
I don't think Le'garde was revived because he says he took Nashrah's advice, which is advice Nashrah only says right before Le'garde ascends the throne to Godhood
Cahara is the Canon character for Ending A The rest of the main cast are Canon in their respective S Endings. And Nas'hrah attempted to complete his own Ending B, but got roasted by Gro'Goroth, and was eventually buried under rubble in the dungeon
I mean, just because there Isn't info about Cahara in Termina doesn't mean he didnt got his S ending, since he probably never did anything to be remembered and probably wouldnt want the dungeon to be the thing he's remembered from. I say he found the girl and helped her while on his way for his S ending, either died and got revived by her to get his S ending out of an act of kindness since he protected her, or for some reason he managed to get away from the girl and got his S ending anyway getting the PTSD from seeing the girl, who he saw as his wife's child, turn into a god in a really creepy way.
It’s important to note that when you fight Le'garde in termina what you're actually fighting is some kind of remote blood puppet, not actually the man himself. Le'garde becoming skinless might be related to that instead.
Yeah, according to the wiki, Legarde did successfully become a God along side the God of Fear and Hunger, meaning D'arce likely died looking for him, died fighting for him, died to appease him, or just died while serving him. Legarde becoming a God is apparently canon, so D'arce can't possibly have his body unless he tricked her with a meat puppet in place of his actual form. (or he ascended and left behind his mortal shell for her).
I think darce has the s ending and shortly after the ending leguard becomes a new god which is why the yellow king leguard you fight in termina is so different from the one in the new god ending

I belive the god of fear and hunger is 100% perfect in terms of comics horror. Goes from a young twisted girl to a monster vaguely in he shape of a women to being so alien and unrecognizable it almost hurts to even try to comprehend what your even looking at. And even if you do make something out, its just your human brain attempting to fill in patterens and is more then likely wrong.

Le’garde didn’t become the yellow king, as he didn’t unite the lands, thus the age of prosperity didn’t happen, so D’arce actually revived him with Sylvian ritual. Enki escaped the dungeon as many of his research of the old gods were published as books and the one about Vinushka was even plagiarized because of how recent it is. Nas’hrah did face Gro-goroth and was burned to ash Ragnavaldr did purge the dungeon off of it’s darkness and his home country too, though he didn’t become immortal he did have descendants.
Fear and hunger is basically a jrpg dark souls in a lot of ways.. just like in dank souls the best you can really get are sad or neutral endings.. honestly the technically happiest ending is one raginvald becoming essentially viking doom slayer and enki getting to read his books in peace fir all eternity

Cahara is likely the one to ascend the girl because you for sure die doing that and he’s the most “disposable” from what we know in Termina. It’s also possible every ending is canon as a result of the nature of the dungeon and Mahabre so we have weird shit like all the characters escape. LeGarde escapes but also there’s a New God Legarde and Enki, and everyone helps the girl become the god of fear and hunger.
Pretty confident that all the S endings are cannon endings for each character with the mercenary’s being the one to bring the child to the depths and likely dying as a result.
Le'Gard didn't leave Green Realm. Yes, he ascended to the godhood, but didn't comeback from it, because he needed Cube of the Deeps for that. Yellow LeGard is a golem, resurrected by Dars and controlled by LeGard from Green Realm At least I heard so

Based on everything seen on Termina, I think it happened like this
-Rag, Enki and Moonless saw Legarde dead so _Rag left with moonless_ (canon) and _Enki stayed to write the bibles_ (canon), I'd like to believe that they saved Buckman's team too
-Darce, nashrah, girl and Cahara went to resurrect Legarde, then took him to Mahabre where they saw Nilvan, then Cahara and Girl went to the bottom and the _girl ascended_ (canon)
- _Nashrah and Legarde had an argument at the throne_ (canon), so Legarde ascended and Darce and Nashrah tried to catch up with Cahara, arrived late, _Grogoroth burned Nashrah_ (canon) and klled Darce.
I'm still hoping my boy Cahara after achiving his ending. He returned to the Dungeons and brought the girl to the darkness, so she reached the status of God of Fear and Hunger

Pretty much, though it's basically confirmed that Legarde did not become a new god, or atleast the ending where he becomes one isn't Cannon as that ending says he brings peace to the west and east but in termina he only brought peace to one of the sides.(I forgor which side, my brain got fog.)

Ragnvaldr's ending S is actually not canon. Because one of souls that he has to capture with soul stones is Crow Mauler's, but he shows up in O'saa's backstory/text adventure. He probably just took Moonless as a pet and B-lined to Le'garde's jail cell to kill him.

Crow mauler lives even after you kill him though, Ragnavaldr went on a massive monster extermination quest and succeeded to hard that they became folk-lore
Double Headed Crwo Mauler appears even if you kill the normal one. The Dungeon has it's own rules

They could be canon in lore, but not in game. They just could not meet together in dungeon, also their endings don't contradict each other, so i think they all possible at the same time

You know what's my personal crazy theory about Cahara in fear and hunger? its that he was involved in the birth of the God of Fear and Hunger, but as the author said that every ending was cannon , atleast in some degree, it could be possible that Cahara was saved and got out of the dungeon, and something even crazier I imagine, is that he is the ancestor of the mayor of Prehevil in F&H Termina, as there is a leather vest (not the same model but could be a reference) as it is more like a family relic.

My own personal headcanon is that every character except D’Arce got their S Endings while D’Arce got both ending A and ending C. This mostly comes from wanting Cahara to live lol however I do think that D’Arce would save the Girl and then choose to take her to the darkness after being betrayed by Le’Garde to get the C ending.
That first image of every playable characters/party members all standing in the desert ready to charge in and demolish the dungeon looks so cool.

I kinda think that D’arce after reviving Le’garde just went through C ending route and made Le’garde a god but being a shade of his former self, he didn’t become a full on yellow king

I could see all S as canon, Enki or Darce could have brought the girl down after their ending and even survived the confrontation. It could even be someone else entirely who came to the dungeon after the four who did it. The real canon events are voluntarily kept in the dark anyway.

Couldnt it be nashrah who brought the girl to level 9? He is burned which could be from grogoroth down in the gauntlet considering he has 2 fire related attacks
There are two differing consensus about it but the two are 1. Nash'rah tried picking a fight with gro-gorath after GOFAH was born and 2. He was apart of cahara's team which means cahara fought two gods which is crazy
Cahara's ending is A. All the others got their S ending but D'arce went and then went on to get Ending C after reviving Le'Garde.
I suspect that D'arce may also have become a new god as well because she's not one to give up on being with Le'Garde so easily
Everyone said rags s ending wasn’t canon but it makes the most sense. He went in and cleared most of the dungeon for the others to make it as far as they did.
Keep in mind cahara is only the A ending candidate by default. It’s entirely possible it was done by some other random person who entered, and cahara just didn’t have any relevance to termina as he just lived in a mansion with his family for the rest of his life not really achieving anything more.

I dont think that D'arces ending S is canon, because in Termina Le'garde makes a mention of Na'srah telling him about the trap that is ascension, this conversation in the first game doesn't happen in D'arces S ending as Le'garde would have already died by then and wouldn't have gotten the chance to even meet Na'srah
In Rangvaldr ending you must kill Crowmauler, yet he is alive in Termina (O'saa adventure)
I don't think Le'garde was revived because he says he took Nashrah's advice, which is advice Nashrah only says right before Le'garde ascends the throne to Godhood
Only 1 group could have all the souls and ascend, so maybe Enki was there too and also heard Nashrahs advice which helped him reject Godhood.
The clank one isnt a curse it just has a high skill ceiling with a relatively strong skill floor because even just the basic application was strong

And Nas'hrah attempted to complete his own Ending B, but got roasted by Gro'Goroth, and was eventually buried under rubble in the dungeon

I mean, just because there Isn't info about Cahara in Termina doesn't mean he didnt got his S ending, since he probably never did anything to be remembered and probably wouldnt want the dungeon to be the thing he's remembered from.
I say he found the girl and helped her while on his way for his S ending, either died and got revived by her to get his S ending out of an act of kindness since he protected her, or for some reason he managed to get away from the girl and got his S ending anyway getting the PTSD from seeing the girl, who he saw as his wife's child, turn into a god in a really creepy way.
All the fear and hunger stuff I see just reminds me of beserk

It’s important to note that when you fight Le'garde in termina what you're actually fighting is some kind of remote blood puppet, not actually the man himself. Le'garde becoming skinless might be related to that instead.

The way that I see it, multiple of the endings happen at their own. As in there is not a single canon ending, but multiple.
Yeah, according to the wiki, Legarde did successfully become a God along side the God of Fear and Hunger, meaning D'arce likely died looking for him, died fighting for him, died to appease him, or just died while serving him.
Legarde becoming a God is apparently canon, so D'arce can't possibly have his body unless he tricked her with a meat puppet in place of his actual form. (or he ascended and left behind his mortal shell for her).
I think darce has the s ending and shortly after the ending leguard becomes a new god which is why the yellow king leguard you fight in termina is so different from the one in the new god ending

Goes from a young twisted girl to a monster vaguely in he shape of a women to being so alien and unrecognizable it almost hurts to even try to comprehend what your even looking at.

Le’garde didn’t become the yellow king, as he didn’t unite the lands, thus the age of prosperity didn’t happen, so D’arce actually revived him with Sylvian ritual.
Enki escaped the dungeon as many of his research of the old gods were published as books and the one about Vinushka was even plagiarized because of how recent it is.
Nas’hrah did face Gro-goroth and was burned to ash
Ragnavaldr did purge the dungeon off of it’s darkness and his home country too, though he didn’t become immortal he did have descendants.
I think every ending S is canon, but in their own way, cause it’s all related to termina, some in little ways, some actually continued in termina
Fear and hunger is basically a jrpg dark souls in a lot of ways.. just like in dank souls the best you can really get are sad or neutral endings.. honestly the technically happiest ending is one raginvald becoming essentially viking doom slayer and enki getting to read his books in peace fir all eternity

Rag is definitely S. Enki is likely S, possibly a variant where he saves LeGarde and still writes his skin bibles. Darc is likely S but can be any ending possible after saving LeGarde. Cahara is likely the one to ascend the girl because you for sure die doing that and he’s the most “disposable” from what we know in Termina.
It’s also possible every ending is canon as a result of the nature of the dungeon and Mahabre so we have weird shit like all the characters escape. LeGarde escapes but also there’s a New God Legarde and Enki, and everyone helps the girl become the god of fear and hunger.
I like the ending where that one guy said, "I have truly experienced both fear and hunger." and then everyone did the Gangnam Style in the dungeon.

Le'Gard didn't leave Green Realm. Yes, he ascended to the godhood, but didn't comeback from it, because he needed Cube of the Deeps for that. Yellow LeGard is a golem, resurrected by Dars and controlled by LeGard from Green Realm

Even Cahara’s S ending is depressing. He gets rich and gets his wife out of the brothel. But the ptsd of the dungeon never left him and he feels like as if he never left at all. Theres also a theory that says Ending S was his hallucination as he died in the hands of The God of Fear and Hunger
