HENRY FORD WOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOU. CONGRATULATIONS
Henry Ford, a great American! Despite the Commies who think 180 degrees the other way!
@Rolf Jander Spend my first 75 years thinking about "people." Now, at 78, not so much.
Masterclass! Can’t remember seeing anything like this before. Magnificent. Gives us hope, in an era of fake news and Facebook and Twitter bullshit. Get off of social media, people! Do something like this brilliant gentleman.
I AM! I am Restoring A 1923 Model T Ford just like this one! Lot`s of FUN, And Frustration! But these little Cars are worth it!
Working on a 1926 TT tow truck. Cracked engine block, so it’s a complete overhaul.
I just purchased a 1922 Model T Touring...And deleted all my accounts except for youtube.
Bruh! Just bruh! What a gem. And ANYONE who restores these old girls deserves a medal! God damn this is beautiful. So much work, make ‘em look brand new. Give ‘em another lease on life. We gotta preserve our history. I build bikes myself, but I’ve got nothing but respect for you brother. Cheers
There is nothing like the first start of a “T” makes all the work worthwhile.
Watching this series from 1-13 was really terrific. Thank you.
Congratulations! You brought the Model T back to life and it runs beautifully. It's amazing to see today what rather primitive technology from back in the day can do. Great job once again, the Model T is looking great. Roof, seats and floor and you are good to go, looking forward to that one (just beware of the termites :-)
Glorious - what a satisfying moment it must be when she comes to life. Nice work, Doctor!
I am really impressed. My daddy used to say, "you can tell the quality of a mechanic by how he keeps his shop". You sir are an Antique Automotive Master...
That is really nice, now on to a first drive. If only I could work as fast as you do! LOL
Oh my god, yes, finally! I've been looking forward to this video for many months. It is finally here!
You are now a custodian of history and indeed worthy of the project.
Well done this sort of work/love of old vehicles will never be paid back at the hours put in.
BUT you have done it for generations to come.
Been waiting for this! This is just the right amount of restoration. Love it. Especially loved the "paint job".
Well done! Nothing like the sound of a rebuilt engine starting up for the first time... what a thrill!
I wanted to hear the sound of initial engine start for hours. It’s thrilling.
You did a beautiful job on the Model T Ford.. I loved the original license plate
It was very relaxing to watch you work.
Thank you for these videos! I found your channel a few days ago and have been fascinated. I started clapping when the engine started. I love the format - no talk, just do. I'm more of a visual learner and I've learned SO MUCH about a T watching you work your magic. I've considered buying and restoring one for a while and your videos have given me confidence that it's possible. Thanks again!
Great job! It sounds great too. Always good to hear the engine running after working on it. Keep up the good work!
Nice Job. I like to replace all the missing and broken parts when I'm fixing things. It makes the project more reliable. I hope you enjoy driving it.
The start of a Model T and a Model A is the best sound ever!
There is a certain rhythmic sound quality with respect to the model T's engine running that is music-to-my-ears. When it is tuned as Henry Ford designed it, it becomes like a beautifully played musical instrument. Thank You for sharing the experience. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
What I like about your videos is you don't take up a lot of time talking about what you are going to do....you just do it.
Congratulations! Great to hear it running. I like watching your silent videos at a faster speed. I see what you are doing and you flash any messages on issues. I had to go to normal speed when you started it up. Needed to hear that in "real time".
It's been a pleasure to watch so far, delighted that you've got it running so nicely 😎👍
Having been around Model T's my entire life (took my drivers test in a 1921 Model T Roadster in 1992 at age 16), I have to admit I was worried when I saw your first video. Many times I've seen folks 'get into Model T's' only to be daunted by how unfamiliar they are with them. It isn't that they are complex, they're just different from modern cars in a very simplified way. However, you stuck with it and got her running. And not just running using modern parts (lawnmower carb and distributor swap), but using the coils / timer and magneto as well! Well done sir! Subscribed!
Thanks buddy! I appreciate the kind words👍
OH! THAT SWEET SOUND AT 18:47! Then the SWEET Buzz! Then it`s ALIVE AT 19:28! WOW! I CAN NOT WAIT TO HEAR MINE! I LOVE YOUR AWESOME Little Car! GOOD JOB!!
Great job ! I hope to see the restoration of the inside and the car running !
Nice work dude! I really appreciate you not talking the whole time! Most guys love to run their mouth the whole time like they love the sound of their voice! Great project!
SWEET, Congratulations. Can’t wait for a road trip!
Random thoughts on your magnificent restoration -- nowadays the Model T is a metaphor for simplicity but there was nothing simple about it. The sophistication needed to design and build this car a hundred years ago bowls me over. Also knocked out by the quality of the original build in terms of engineering, sizing of parts, durability, etc. I am learning from your perseverance and ability to easily show us you got something wrong the first time. The car must be a complete pain in the butt at times but I can't even begin to imagine the satisfaction you are getting in making it all work. Finally, I know this is a silent build but while others have waited to hear it run, I am waiting to hear the horn.
Because of me watching the entire series and gaining an appreciation for this technology it was so satisfying to finally see it fire up and run
Does anyone else look away from the screen every time he’s welding? 😄 Thanks for sharing sir! Very cool vid! 👍
Just a short line to let you know how much so many enjoy your T videos. I'm a daily A driver and just really your 'no nonsense' (no 'Maple Leaf Rag,......thank you God!) get er done forward motion videos. That's it. Thanks! keep it up. I'm always looking forward to your next post.
Thanks buddy! I really appreciate that👍
very nice job. This engine is running nicely!
To make a cold start, adjust the mixture to "rich" (don't overturn)
Advance lever "up"
Short "choke" while using the starter-motor.
Once the engine is running for a few minutes, adjust the mixture (and not immediately the advance).
That's what my Pa told me (a very long time ago)
Engine runs smoothly. A job well done! Looking forward to see the restoration of the interior.
Been binge watching since first episode but just needed to stop 8:50 into video and post my first comment.Wow on your impeccable work so far and your magnificent finesse polishing and cleaning up the carburetor and engine.Much respect to you.🙏
Good job. Craftsman. One of my brothers owned a Model T. I was pretty small in early 40's, he was driving very slow and my other brother and I wer piled into and on the T. I was standing on one running board and thought I could run that fast. Jumped to the ground and momentum almost taught me a lesson when my feet hit the ground and then my head hit the ground shortly thereafter. Didn't learn anything, because I tried it again 20 years later while inebriated and almost died from the concussion.
Awesome work! I love that little ultra sonic cleaner. Very nice tool to have.
Great job son. Making your forefathers proud blessings
Thank you for your videos. I am building a 1923 Model T plastic 1:25 scale kit made by AMT. The instructions are ok but you have provided THE best "show and tell ". Cheers
Another great video. I'd rather watch in silence then listen to some person ramble on about what everyone can see. You do great work with the limited about of tools but Not the limited amount of knowledge which obviously you have. Good luck with the rest of the car..
Fantastic job! I'm amazed at how you know/ remember how to take several pieces apart and are able to reassemble them without directions or photos. It looks like you've torn down and rebuilt these many times before. You're skill level is nothing short of awesome!!!
Really? At one time a LOT of people could, and did, do this! I grew up learning this stuff as well.(was rebuilding engines at 13) It's really not that hard to do!
@@devilsatan2973 ah...., go to hell
Well done! The vendors sell a lead gasket that fits behind the sediment bowl screen assembly if your leaks there.
This is the man I was expecting to comment! Thanks for your input, you are definitely a Model T expert and I have valued your comments in previous videos. I did see some o rings and seals on the carb kit that didn’t get installed on camera, maybe one of them belonged there?
@@vayabroder729 The very small red gasket fits under the carburetor jet. The others probably fit under the brass plugs that screw into the top and side of the carb body.
Waiting for this, cant wait until the drive!
😭Man...
Im going emotional when you startup this old engine...
GREAT JOB!!!!😁👍
Great Job! I like to see how well organized you are! Your shop is really clean.
This engineer is magnificent. great video. Model T s were not so simple after all. But were great . good video to watch.
*Nice to see you have her going again!*
_And its Running off the Magneto!!_
That sounds great coming across my speakers. Great job!
Congrats...I feel as triumphant as you, and I could swear I see a smile on the old girl's face...😊
Nice and clean work, as always! 👏I like how the driver sits on top of the fuel tank... great set up I’m case of collision... 😀
Now that’s just fantabulous, hats off.
Congratulations! Very glad to see that you got it running. As for the leak at the bowl nut on the carburetor, there should be 2 gaskets at the bowl nut. One on the inside (between the bowl and carb) and one on the outside between the nut and bowl. Keep up the good work.
totally enthralled watching this video, what an excellent job you did. Congratulations.
Es increible que algo tan antiguo siga funcionando.
Really Great JOb. Minor problems always arise. No problem. The engine does runs
Moves along kinda like The Keystone Cops. Very appropriate. Well done!
Great job, you make it look so easy.
never crank an engine thats been sitting for so long without looking at the cylinders for RUST, and add at least add a table spoon of MARVEL MYSTERY OIL to all cylinders. Your a total DA.
Good job Sir! Congratulations!
such fantastic and elaborated technological gadgets, I see now why mechanics were the door towards technology in a good part of the 20th century
It’s a mystery to me this episode, however, I do enjoy seeing what’s in the other bay. I found some doors, the hood, and a headlight flange for the Mini Cooper a few episodes back. They were deep in my bush, half buried, up here in Canada. Just sold them last year.
T Ford のエンジン音をリアルな感じで聞いたのは初めてのような気がします。ありがとう!
Thank you for hear me real T Ford's engine sound, it seems first time for me!
Felicidades. Se ve muy bien realizado el proyecto.
He visto los 13 episodios. Una labor titánica.
Los detalles, la pintura, las reparaciones, los repuestos.....en fin. Mucho que ver y aún más, disfrutar de una maravillosa máquina.
Ojalá continúe este proyecto hasta dejarlo como va.... impecable.
Felicitaciones.
Me he suscrito a tu canal.
Gracias por compartir tu arduo trabajo.
Saludos cordiales desde Coltauco-Chile....🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱
Amazing talent. You’re gifted
Fine, nice, very well done! Can't wait to see the first ride on this beauty! Best greetings from Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil!
The car that built America. Great job.
bravo..you did a job of "titan" .. remarkable; incredible..i saw all the episodes, you are really good at restoration👏👏👏👏
Fantastic job mate l admire you with all that patience you really deserve a lot of thanks to share your fantastic videos with us l love them thank you so much and god bless you from MALTA
Nice work man. Now you gotta take it for a ride!
Great job Mr.
Superb! Can't thank you enough for this video!
What a great car you did a wonderful job getting it back to life . I know it not a beauty queen but you save from the junkyard. And I like that you were quite but you told us enough what you and what you use on it. Love all of your video 1thur 13.👍👍
I sure hope you continue with your videos to see this beauty all done.
It runs beautiful. Before you know it you will be doing a test drive.
I enjoyed every bit of this video! Thank you for captioning it as I don't have great hearing and my volume isn't very loud. I am interested in old cars, including Model T's, and this video let me see the parts and how they fit together. It is surprising how basic cars were in the 1920s. But driving a Model T would be something one would have to practice.....even though I know how to drive stick shift the Model T is not quite like that.
This guy is extraordinarily talented! I don't understand the order in which he does things; seems a little convoluted, but you can't argue with the results. Have washed episodes 1 thru 14 so far.
I think you're moving even faster as you get closer to the first start!
Awesome job, very impressive, thanks for sharing
Start it up, start it up! I like to see it running.
Henry Ford would say: better work as on my assembly line...👍👍👍 but not black enough 🤣🤣🤣 Please show us the last works, new seats and first ride out🥰
Congratulations. Watching your videos is very pleasant and you make it easy. Beautiful car and awesome process building this car.
congratulations it's a good job
Yay!
It lives!
That's great. Well done.
Thanks, and Woof to Walter
You are a super Machanic. Old is GOLD.Very Nice. THK YOU .
Aside from the AWESOME Engine, Did You note the Window Raisers in the Doors? They are indeed a Marvel!!
Wow excellent work you really do know your way around this model T
About to start my Model TT (again). The Bendix jammed after a couple pops the first time I tried. Its been in a barn for 50 years. I didn't see you adjust the mixture after it started. It sounded good the way it was set. Great video.
Amazing work, greetings from Argentina
Wonderful! Well Done Sir!
Uyyy que li dura de carro, usted es un aRtista ,ke va quedar super hermosooooo.gracias y fekicisade/tan lindo q es ver hacer cosas como esas con tanta dedicacion.
Very interesting thank you for sharing. Can't wait to see you driving it.
Heavenly, what a wonderful sound the engine made, reminds me of sound of WW1 Era aeroplane, Awesome!👍 🙂
The air intake was sometimes converted to a snorkle. The roads in those days would often flood and river and creek crossings where simple stoned pavers that would not wash away as the washes where sometimes quite shallow but in a rainy period the snorkle was essential to keep the water out of the engine...
No air filter?
@@woodhonky3890 screen maybe then in later models they would do oil cups but air filters were little further down the timeline
@@MyLevelheaded Thanks
Va quedando muy bonito. Te felicito por tu dedicación y talento. Saludos, espero subas todos los avances, hasta terminar éste bonito coche
8:20 its so funny how hes like: "does this go in here? no it doesnt *Screws* oh it does *gets out and puts on* oh this doesnt go on *Gets off again and screws in XD
YEAH! WELL DONE!
Wonderful great Work 👍👍👍
very nice! i just retired. i have been a mechanic and transmission specialist/rebuilder for 45 years, never done a model T,,,,,,,,,,,
They’re surprisingly cheap and easy to find👍
Nailed IT!
