If I'm not mistaken, laughing gas can kill a person if there's too much of it and not enough air, so yeah, with the giant clouds of it, those folks shouldn't just be worried about the kryptonite radiation
Well, the same holds true to pretty much any anesthetic. That's why it's a medical specialty. Fiction rarely mentions dosages. Something capable of knocking out an adult male could kill a child. It would at least have longer affect.
However comics/TV/movies treat them as affecting everyone the same. Notice how on 60's Batman show, Batman and Robin would get the knockout gas at the same time and then wake up at the same time even though Adam West was considerably bigger than Burt Ward? Really, any way you see someone get knocked out in fiction would be worse in real life. Striking someone to cause unconsciousness for more than a few seconds would likely be causing serious brain damage.
Carl Rood one of the few pieces of fiction I’ve seen where it DOES matter is in the Dresden files.
Granted how the villains managed to get enough gas to fill an entire aquarium without killing some of the exhibits isn’t really addressed
Actually not really. That would be a concern only indoors. As this was outdoors lack of air would not be an issue

Vyce laughing at 90s kid. Either they are besties or Vyce IS 90s Kid
They've been working together since after Vyce was last defeated so I can say that since then they have become quite good friends and developed a lot of trust.
blackdemonknight makes me wonder if Vyce and Linkara could one day become friends if they put everything behind them
My theory on that was that 90's kid helped Vyce survive his deletion from Nimue by giving him the Shade body to transfer to. It was at least enough to allow Vyce to hear him out and thus the partnership was forged.
+blackdemonknight - Possibly. 90s Kid was probably one of the few people who still feared the Entity coming back, so Vyce would have been one of the few people who could know how to fight it. Plus, 90's Kid might even have had some of the "comic book heroes" stuff rub off on him and hoped that maybe Vyce could become an eventual ally like Jaeris and Linksaino did.
I believe that while Vyce is not necessarily 90s Kid, they are united by their hatred for the Entity. Also we don't really know how exactly Vyce managed to stay alive while his world was destroyed, but the fact that he's the only one left and that he has to wear a full body suit does indicate that the Entity might have used him the same way that it used 90s Kid, which would give the two even more in common.
So...I think we can all agree that this was one of Vyce's best episodes so far, right?
+Danny Buckle Clearly better than the time he was nearly suffocated or the time he was deleted...or probably the time he was stuck running around as a Shade. You know, I would love a rundown of Vyce's story if only to see this fight from his perspective. I envision a lot of angry muttering.

In my head canon, Lord Vyce is an alternate universe Linkara who, at a young age, lost his world to the Entity. His egotism and dry wit remind me a bit of Holokara, but much farther gone.
I'm constantly like, "Harvey, calm your shit!" this episode. I do like getting more backstory on Vyce and the fact that he's willing to be more...of a person and admit fault. It's really nothing much, but it's nice to see.
Vyce turning off the name of the ship induced joy and smiles. XD

Also, got some character development for Vyce. Love it. :)

Skit #5 So Bob could have started the Great Disaster by bringing some bacon with him?
Skit #6 Hostess fruit pie ads, where logic gets smacked in the head with a stuffed pig.

Yeah he played his ace in the hole now it's time to see if this gamble pays off and makes Linkara see sense and that the Entity is him.
It's A philosopher class starship!? (Named after the philosopher's Stone)
This kind of starship is considered one of the most powerful and dangerous of all types. Not only can Repair itself but it can use a similar function to upgrade itself instantaneously. What this means that it can evolve itself virtually infinitely. It can gain the strength and function of any other class of ship and is only surpassed a celestial class.
Gungelion what does a celestial class have?
The reason why they are superiors because for the most part they do not need to evolve, they just are. They are empowered (and sometimes constructed by) by an ethereal mystical energy. Whereas a philosopher class always needs some material and blueprints to evolve, a celestial this not require such things, it is simply limited by its pilot. The closest equivalent to a to easily understand would be tengen toppa gurren lagann which has the ability to create matter from energy and seems to create energy itself.
The trick to these is not everybody can pilot one and even if you could it all depends on where not if you can bring out the full potential.
So, if i'm reading you right, Philosopher class ships are like quasi-super robots. Mostly very advanced hard sci-fi, which produces a very powerful ship. All the while, Celestials are like Super robots (mostly like the strongest ones, like Demonbane, gurren lagaan or Getter emperor) indescribable vessels of unimaginable power.
hmmmm, I suppose that's a good way to put it.
If these ships are as powerful as you say, then that means the Entity fears this ship more then anything else which is why everyone says the ship was the best thing to fight the Entity. Well then I will safely say the playing field has been evened out now if that's the case.

armitage wytch tr-8r I like to see the plot as a parody of the typical big comic storyline and a way of Lewis to show how people can make something better than people involved in the media.
Sad thing is he likely has less about him than Birdemic, which got its own movie when Lewis can make epic green screening like on this episode and the the comic before Delicious in Dungeon.
I'd never seen Linkara before, only heard of the name of his show, when I watched my first episode because it showed up in my recommendations. That episode happened to be the one where his ship crashed on the moon in the first place. My immediate thought was, "How does an internet review show have any right to do this?" I subscribed instantly and I immediately began binging his show to see how it got that far.
I agree I wish more people in Hollywood had this kind of competence to create novel films.

That feeling when you are sitting here wondering where Boffo, Eliza, the Ninja-Style Dancer, Munro, Pyramid Head, and Neutro are.
Boffo is probably at a clown conference, eliza is sulking, pyramid head is in his pokeball, Monroe is in his own universe, and Neutro is still damaged from the battle with Insano
The thing I'm wondering is if that wrestler that shows up keeps breaking into Linkara's home and they can't seem to keep him out

Never knew Comicron 1 was able to self-repair. That's a cool feature for any vehicle period. Can't wait for next week, and good thing I just started JoJo's first 4 episodes.
If this doesn't end with Comicron One vs. Comicron Two I will be disappointed.
i don't know, between him and the CA specials that bits been done to death by these guys. AT4W: the movie featured a version of the plot point (hell half the movie IS wrath of khan), to boldly flee outright did the scene almost point for point (as well as some stuff from undiscovered country). kind of been there done that time to move on.

Yes Linkara seeing Comicron-1 up and running again is just the shot of insperation and hope he needs to finally see the Entity is inside him.

the amount of work that must have gone into that entire self-repair scene, OMG, that was absolutely amazing, that entire scene was great. Vice just became super awesome.
Ironically this summer I interned at a place that used hostess fruit pies as an alternative to tranquilizing an ancient bear when they needed to go into her habitat to do something.
What did Vyce call his ship before it was stolen by a comic book reviewer on the internet? You know I just realized how weird this show can be. Also, in universe, what's Viga doing while her roommate is being possessed by a video game glitch?

Vyce is so going to turn on the team after the entity is defeated.
Unlikely, if the entity was truly defeated I feel vyce would return to his own Realm (his purpose forfilled) or have died to defeat it.
The way Vyce talks about his home universe in this episode, it sounds like it's toast regardless of whether the entity is defeated or not. "Long ago taken by the entity" and "I sometimes wonder what I'm still fighting for" make it sound like Vyce believes he won't be able to go back home even if he succeeds.
Even if his home dimension did return to normal, Vyce wouldn't. Remember, he's a data being now, possessing a shade body that's been built up to look like his old suit. Whoever Vyce was before, whatever life he had, he can't go back like nothing happened. Even if he still had his original body, he'd likely have a hard time going back, like how some soldiers who have seen war can't settle back into their civilian lives.
Vyce was using the threat of the entity as a justification for conquering other worlds. If the entity was truly destroyed, he wouldn't have that justification anymore. His quest would be over, but he can't return to his old life. It's kind of reminiscent of what Linkara said to the entity, "what is your purpose when your purpose has been fulfilled?".
Assuming Vyce survives the battle with the entity, I see him having an existential crisis. Maybe big, maybe small, but at the very least he'll question what he should do next.
Nathaniel Hellman nah. The only reason Vyce battled Linkara was for the purpose of stopping the Entity. Once it's finally dead, he'll either die or join the team
Woah... I really liked the storyline segment at the end of this one. The ship restoration segment was awesome, and I'm really glad to see Lord Vyce coming back into the story, he was always my favorite AT4W villain (he has a lot of Doctor Doom in him I guess, in the sense that, as arrogant as he is, it's always actually kind of justified).

You know, I really pity Linkara. All of this is happening in his head! He will have to do it again, record it and put on UA-cam!
It speaks to Linkara's ability to weave a compelling narrative over several years when I just about get teary-eyed as Vyce resurrects Comicron1 and takes his rightful place in the captain's chair.
"Wow! You eat rocks?"
"It's for digestion. Don't you know? It helps your stomach digest. It crushes what you ate inside the stomach. They're called "gastroliths". Most meat eating creatures do this. It's a health method... learned from birds and alligators. I feel splendid."
That little bit at the end where Vyce turns off the name. A bit petty but at the same time hilarious XD God I love this show :)
Okay, this plot twist... this entire story episode... was one of the most compelling pieces of fiction I've seen in a long time.
Goosebumps. I have goosebumps and tears in my eyes from CC1 being basically resurrected. Linkara may not have the big budget CGI like the movies or TV shows but damn can he work with what he has! And the writing! The writing is beautiful!
THAT may have been one of my favorite individual story-line segments in an episode since the original reveal of the Entity. Seeing Vyce triumphant and the ship restored .... SO AWESOME!

I know I'm arriving to the party a few years late, but man, this story turn with Vyce is weeeeeird.....
AMAZING EFFECTS!!! Whoever designed the visuals for Comicron One rising from the moon deserves a award!
I must admit, Vyce makes a much better protagonist than antagonist.
He's always been the protagonist in his own mind so that's a fair assessment. I do hope he goes the way of Linksano and becomes an ally even if he's just a fair weather friend.

That is the sign of a well written villain. They are always heroes in there own mind.
He might become an ally and I think I see this ending with Linkara allowing Vyce to have his ship back and Vyce returning home to his dimenstion (if it has been restored) with his quest and war finally at an end.
Debatable, while Vyce is a good character in my mind regardless, I think his appeal was that he was a villain so far beyond Linkara. There was an air of mystery to him, which is always great.

I absolutely loved the Lord Vyce stuff at the end. You're reaching Doom-levels with him after this one.
The storyline bit for this episode was simply fantastic. I liked the video for that portion alone, it was that well performed and structured. Bravo!!!
Ha! Oh god, I watched the restoration of the ship with a lump in my throat, but when it was fully restored, I said to myself, "Yeah but the Comicron One name on the hull kinda kills it because why would that be part of Vyce's protocols of restora--" and then he input those commands and Linkara's name for the ship blacked out. That was a great moment.
Vyce: "wait, why did you change the name. It was perfectly fine... ugh, fine, I'll fix it."

I just saw an ad for Durex condoms pop up before this video loaded, it's like UA-cam's algorithm detected the word "quickie" and made an assumption.

Loving the treatment Lord Vyce is getting!
Two things:
1. It took me way too long to realize that The Forge was from Elite Force, tying back to Vyce’s connection to that world of the Star Trek multiverse
2. The Entity always seems to ignore Nimue. Bit of a strategic error

Anyone that's been on a farm knows that pigs are not to be trusted around anything. They'll more than likely eat it.
Yes, Brach's is pronounced the way you did in the video, and it's a candy company that's been around for many, many years. (My parents enjoyed them when they were kids, and they were around for many years when they were young.) They're generally quality pieces, to boot (though they do have their occasional flubs). Sadly, the company was sold a while back and it hasn't been as quality since then, but they're still pretty good.
Story: ComicronOne is now equally awesome and terrifying, as is Vyce. It's one thing to constantly escape death, but it's quite another to recover all that was once lost in past battles. I still don't trust him beyond doing his duty, but I do believe he will do anything to achieve his goal, even if that means teaming up with Linkara's allies. It's a tenuous relationship, but one forged between warriors. I do not think he will betray them, but once they have the upper hand, all bets are likely off. He definitely plans to take the ship back.
Rocky dinosaur's catchphrase should've been "get your rocks off" or something, THEN I would buy his candy
Okay. I'm impressed. Can't wait to see where the storyline goes from here!

No, the plot twist of Dingo kid is that when growing up he'll move to Germany and start up company making horrible knockoffs of Disney movies that are also packaged as Playstation games for some reason

I was half-expecting the excerpt at 10:19 to be "Wonder Woman was once changed into a pig by Circe. Batman teamed up with Zatanna and sang a jazz standard in order to get Circe to change Wonder Woman back."
Weirdly enough, they did sort of have a geode filling. It was like rock candy on the inside. XD
Fun fact: brach's rocks come from that same company that makes the Valentine's hearts candy with words on them aka "conversation hearts". Hilariously the year after this comic their whole advertising department lead staff was fired due to low sales

Seeing comiccron one rebuild itself is so awesome! Reminded me of when TOM from toonami got his new ship after the first one got partially eaten by pink space goo in the first toonami special "the intruder"

If the laughing gas is indeed laced with kryptonite, not only could those people be affected by the radiation, but it means they're breathing in tiny stone shards. Ouch.

Holy crap, what an ending to an episode! Comicron 1 is back, baby! Now all that's left is the final battle: Vyce and Comicron 1 vs Linkara/Entity and Comicron 2!
The epic resurrection of Comicron
Ah, it’s been so long since Vyce was even vaguely sympathetic. At times it kinda felt like Linkara was overzealous, even before the King of Worms
I used to theorized if Lord Vyse is just Linkara from an alternate universe where the entity killed his allies (AngryJoe, Harvey, etc) and stuff.
I know it's no longer the case now. But After watching this segment, I can't help but think that the betrayals were 90's Kid (entity), and Linksano. Allies killed were his friends.
Just a thought. I know it's highly unlikely that Vyse would be an alternate Linkara. But I did theorize that when he first appeared.
Some dinosaurs did actually eat rocks to use in mastication in the same way birds do. However, those were herbivores.
This doesn't get said often enough, but I am so, SO happy you contracted Game Show Reviewer to do the CG for the show. The show's Cg has looked 10x better since he came aboard. I have don't wanna think about how that final scene might have looked 5 years ago.
I remember having "Brach's Rocks", I had those when I was like 5 or 6 years old. I miss the 90's.

I am grinning like 90s kid right now! Seriously, with this episode, Vyce go from my second least favorite major Linkara Villain to my favorite with the Entity.
