I admit, the idea of Supergirl as Miss Wilson would actually be an interesting plot twist for this series. It was implied that she was a teacher after all. Heck, maybe Kara went undercover in her secret identity to find out the bizarre time loop that was going on in this school, only to discover it was all an evil plot by the Tandy Cult. Eventually she was captured and mind controlled into thinking that she was Miss Wilson to help spread their dark gospel.

Webshooters1 I personally thought The Entity dying would make him reborn as an enlightened entity, and he'd be a bright and glowing. You know what I mean?
Well, compared to the hardship against the king of worm, admittedly it was too easy. Plus, the worm guy saw it in Linkara's head and died so it was imaginable.
I figured he was dead, but that death meant something different for the Elder Gods. I never figured he'd actually come back.
Been thinking it ever since 90's kid teamed up with vyce, pretty much knew it for a face when the king of worms looked into linkaras mind.

I'm disappointed in this comic. Superman and Supergirl should have broken through the windows instead of having them be conveniently open all the time.

Your theory of the man of steel and the teacher of comas dating makes so much sense. Not just in why he keeps showing up but in the fact that unless he's being a dick or hanging out with Batman old supes bores me as much as remembering elementary school. They where made for each other, well more then Superman and Wonder Woman as a pairing.

"Sing a lie to misdirect fellowships"
this line hints at the revelations of what was to come during the sleepwalker arc
the lie sung refers to the Linkara believing Vyce was going to become the new entity, that lie leads to Linkara misdirect his friends and eventually shaking up his friendships with them

Question about these comics.....why would Superman, or any other DC Hero teach kids how computers work? Wouldn’t it make more sense if they came to tell stories of their heroics, or teaching them how to do the right thing? Why computers?

Wait a minute how could Miss Wilson organize a 'surprise' field trip? Wouldn't she need to get permission forms signed by the kid's parents before being allowed to take them off school premises? Permission forms which the kids would have to present to their parents prior to the field trip taking place with detailed information of where they will visit, what date and time.
no she wouldn't need it, supeman as hero of all chidren can give his permissions that overwrite any adults say in the matter.
I grew up in the 80s and I'm almost certain I've got one of these Tandy comics. I'm going to have to try and find it! Though 1981 would have been too early for me so maybe these circulated around for several years.

Seeing how things went down story wise at the end of the seventh anniversary episode, along with the explanation given during the 400th hundred episode, I can see how the Entity's back. Can't wait to see how it goes for the Sleep Walker story next week.

All The Entity did was find out what happens when a god dies.
It must be my birthday or something. Verdun on the PS4, the Battlefield 1 Beta and a review from my favourite piece of What-The-Hell comic history, all out in the same week.
When they show those giant microcomputers in the comics I have to wonder if the script originally called for the artist to draw "giant room-sized computers", which is to say mainframes, and since there was no reference photos of the mainframes the artists just drew enormous TRS-80s instead. At the time, the very existence of microcomputers were kind of a surprise to everyone and trying to get general information that wasn't about specific brands meant looking in books that had been printed before the existence of microcomputers. I remember so many books "all about computers" where the most up-to-date information was about dummy terminals, magnetic tape, and if your math grades were really good maybe you'd get to use COBOL on your college mainframe some day.
There was also a lot of information that was still CLASSIFIED in the 1980s about early military computers, which was not helpful to comic book illustrators. For example, the existence of Colossus, the British mainframe not the superhero, was not public knowledge in the U.S. or Britain in the 1980s.
