@ I remember you talking about the machismo culture, which will probably exacerbate within these next few years. What are some things that have been hard to import and are you referring to the quality of products and food? Thanks for sharing and answering my questions btw - Mexico is one of the places I’m considering moving to so I’m trying to get as much info as possible before going.
@@Dream_more_age_less Omg 😓 I was recently thinking maybe the US is the answer… but you say no? I’m done with the Matrix too… we’ve gotta play it though instead of letting it play us!
I’ve been watching different expat content creators and it seems like the biggest barriers for leaving the USA, Canada and the UK are financial and social.
@@AdelleRamcharan grateful for you sharing your ups and downs! Most creators are just sharing the pros so it’s helpful to have a more comprehensive view of moving there.
Hey Adelle! There are plenty of intentional communities filled with independent women who welcome others on their journey in figuring out while single. Have you looked through the Foundation for Intentional Community's directory? I think you may find some answers there. Much love to you from the USA.
Thanks! Starting one is more my speed.. I met up with a few of them since moving here... I haven't talked about that yet but all of my experiences were NOT GOOD.
Hi Adelle. I haven't seen your content in years and then I saw this video in my feed. We had a few friendly exchanges waaaaaay back in the day when I used to make content on here. I was feeling the same way you're feeling not too long ago and I have family and friends who are also feeling dispondent. My husband and I left Canada just over a year ago. Life there just became too brutal. Thankfully, we have no children, had some savings after many years of living frugally (and of course, luck), and we both work remotely so we were able to sell off and gift most of our belongs and move abroad in exactly 2 months. We left Canada with only 6 suitecases and our cat. Is it heaven here? The racial capitalist system is global so there's no safe haven (sorry to say) BUT, we're able to live a quality of life that was IMPOSSIBLE for us to attain in Canada. Life is just vastly different. I had gotten so accustomed to having anxiety while grocery shopping and thankfully, that's no longer my reality. Just take the plunge. We'd been talking about moving for about 10-years and didn't because we thought it would be difficult. It was sooooo easy. Apply for a visa to where you want to move (its easy with Canadian citizen), pack your stuff, and just do it. You can do it.
Heyyy wow yes I remember you. And I did… I’m in Mexico now but I just don’t think it’s for me for many reasons. I know what you mean, the anxiety over things that should be easy and yess I know the system is everywhere. But how about somewhere where multiple barking dogs in 360 surround sound is not a night and day situation no matter where you go? And where littering is not commonplace behavior? 😓 I’m happy for you! Sounds like you’re doing it right. I’m going to check if you made videos!! ✨
I am watching from Mexico. Left the USA 2 years ago.
How is it going for you? Been here three years… I love the individual
people… but the rest is a no for me. Gotta move on…
@@AdelleRamcharanwhat specific things about Mexico are not aligning with you?

@@AdelleRamcharan It's the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I left Canada for the US, 9 years ago and am STILL trying to get it together financially, to leave the US too 😢 I really want to escape this Matrix!
