I myself am a H'ness owner and my friend has Meteor, after riding 1k km I think though most things are good for honda, however there are three big complaints regarding Honda; 1) Gearing is so tall that riding in traffic needs frequent downshift, Meteor is way better in this 2) As a 5'6'' person Meteor has much better sitting comfort than this, my hands pain after riding H'ness for 2 hrs straight. 3)Color scheme is very limited. Never rode Benelli, so can't comment but some may find this useful
Now you say traction control isn't necessary on Honda; but it saved my ass for a second when the bmc dug up the road and covered it up with dirt (instead of permanent), then it rained and it was deep slush. Honda traction control light came into action for a second and I felt the bike readjusting itself. Go Honda!
Then it will loose the differentiation from regular honda bikes. This is one area where RE has created a Niche category of their own despite so many areas they are behind other brands.
You are right about aftermarket customisation. I have the RE interceptor and there are so many ways you can customise this bike with good quality parts at a reasonable price. The RE wasn't designed to win races it's a well-made quality bike with a great heritage. Where ever I park my Interceptor it always attracts admirers and I am sure the Meteor will do the same. I am now in my senior years and just love Poodling along at a good cruising speed in comfort with my lovely black lambswool seat cover which allows for those extra km's. From Australia.
Yeah agreed 💯. But quality and reliability of honda can't be matched with any other brands in the universe. If I'm asked to choose, I won't go with RE since it's a new platform and it needs to be tested and proven. Whereas H'ness is also a new bike with new engine but it's manufactured by Honda and I trust honda.
It’s not a weakness unless you don’t have it in your town. With Big Wings the customers will get premium service & proper attention. Regular Honda dealerships are too occupied with Activas.
Maybe you dnt but We feel that its advantage for highness. Honda wanted to keep this bike in their premium segment. As well as, Bigwing service center engineers are far better than honda normal service centers people. So, we feel its advantage. And, yes Honda has already opened many bigwing showrooms. And, they are working on more. They just wanted to see response first, now hness will be available to everyone soon. Definitely, Honda must have some plan for that.
But After 10 years one would get back the money he paid for RE in resale 😁😁😁😁 for example in 2013. Classic 350 and R15 were available at 1.15 lakhs on road in Chennai now 2013 model R15 going at 40-45 k while RE 350 going around 90-1l. Sometimes I think I should have gone for RE😂😂😂
Royal Enfield is evolving...just have a test drive bro...I feel re did a good jobs these days with 650cc engine...now... updated 350cc with less vibrations...wow.
Given their lousy quality control , you can feel that from the very first day . I have seen people talking their bikes to service station same day of delivery .
First I want to say that, you guys doing english reviews is much appreciated. Due to the fact that the Meteor 350 has yet to reach our market(germany), it's impossible to get any reviews. So getting them from you helps a lot! 👍 And to top it off, knowing that what I'm getting is the unfiltered thruth from RE mother country makes it even more satisfying. As over here we often get seemingly falsified impressions, of smaller(to our standards) displacement bikes, being less enjoyable. Which is obviously not true at all! Anyways, great video and great bikes, loved it!! 👍 👍 👍
also it have been designed by german engeneers now and as because the competition was beating them but now with some teaming up with Germany they have been kicking asses ! thanks to your country for your phenomenal engineering .
Frequent City commute + occasional long ride -- CB350. Frequent long rides + occasional City ride -- Meteor 350. If you are one who would use this bike for long term ( 15-20 yrs) -- Cb350
Completely sold on the Royal Enfield. Can’t wait to get my hands on one. I’ve been riding some 38 odd years all the way up to 1400cc hair on fire in-line fours. Slowing down to a quieter style and this absolutely fits. I will add my own custom parts and accessories
After lot of watching reviews and thinking I booked Meteor though my preference was CB350. Reason for Meteor is better looks and road presence, better instrument console. What I don't like in Meteor is the low seating forward foot peg. This will give backache on bad roads because you cannot lift your bum. I am hoping to ride primarily in city and highways. CB350 has better rider seating angle, awesome sound and top quality. However it should improve rear suspension which is stiff, increase seat length and improve chasis design which has gaps. I will buy this Honda in its second edition whenever it comes after 1-2 years by selling the Meteor. Hopefully Honda would have incorporated the feedback by then.
HONDA perfectly outraged and killed RE classic 350 in all ways except the design.. But RE responded at the crucial time with their entirely new weapon "METEOR 350".. !!! And the story goes on.. woeww ❤️❤️👌👌
Hness is better in overall comparison with meteor and reborn classic, Good refine engine, average traction control, slip assist clutch and low maintenance cost, And also improving their service network in last few months
Yes the Royal Enfield metro 350 is very good all rounder in its segment. It looks good, the engine performance is well, its refined. When it comes to features the meteor is well equipped for the price. The RE has the better sales and service net work as well. All in all its a great retro bike. Happy to see that RE has win this interesting comparison.😁❤️❤️👍.
RE means making local mechanics happy , RE products need heavy maintenance , Japanese bikes means reliability guaranteed for 10 years atleast without major expenses
Actually it’s other way round. It’s not a problem unless you don’t have it in your town. With Big Wings the customers will get premium service & proper attention. Regular Honda dealerships are too occupied with Activa’s & they don’t to justice with 2.3 lac bike customer. Ask CBR250R owners.

I have ridden imperiale 400 and Dear lord, I fell in love with it.I would give 25k extra just because of the awesome feeling that imperiale give.Just the limited showroom and service centre let it down

Your reviews are so good coz you saying about the vehicles quality and if is there any problem with that you find it and talks about it or show it. that's cool and helps people who are going to buy it. most of the reviewers forgets that part
I own meteor supernova brown from January, It is a really nice bike that will make you like it, the more you ride. It is a wonderful piece of engineering, finish n beauty. It eliminates my aggressive and speeding nature. At any speed (low speed also) you are going to enjoy it. It is well geared, very easy, relaxed and fun machine with a feel that others can't offer.
Excellent video, very well made, informative and an all-round great comparison. I hope we get to see the Meteor and H'ness over here in the UK - it's a bit of an unusual size for our market but it would be great for commuter and A2-license markets and if they kept reasonably close to the current Indian prices I think they could do extremely well.
I have ridden highness yesterday at Coimbatore... It is very easy to turn the bike.. ie. Turning radius is very good. I could easily control the bike without laying my legs down
Two of those three bikes aren't available for sale in the USA, but I still enjoyed your review. Then again, I'm one of remarkably few Iron Barrel Bullet riders over here, so I'm a bit partisan.
Much awaited comparison! I booked Meteor 350 It's love at first ride! It's just awesome and fun too ride. You can customise your bike as per your choice. Awaiting the delivery now!

Honda traction control light came into action for a second and I felt the bike readjusting itself. Go Honda!
Honda should've just sold the H'ness in regular dealerships! would have made it a lot more competitive.
Then they would service them like activa and shine by thrashing around.
Instead they must open more big wing showroom or hness dedicated showrooms
Then it will loose the differentiation from regular honda bikes.
This is one area where RE has created a Niche category of their own despite so many areas they are behind other brands.
Well little the sales in numbers the better will be the refinement
More big wing showroom/service centers around the cities will make more sense.. Again that might take about 10 months or a year
RE is good but their service is the worst.
Showroom guys just don't care about their customers.
The customer service in India is pretty much the worst and the most weakest point.
Yeah thats true.
That'll depend of luck, not RE. I had the best coolest service, and after I moved the new dealers where quite "meh" Happens with any vehicle you buy
I've had that experience too. I entered their showroom for a test ride, and they treated me as if I didn't even exist.
There nothing like that bro...no everywhere...
Can't believe RE is competing with Honda in terms of smoothness and rideability. Kudos RE
He is comparing both bikes because they comes with same price segment. RE cant compare with Honda in terms of refinement and reliability. 😂
it took 50 years by RE to recognize it and address it 😉
Yes they have joined hands with European engineers to achieve it...
Yes true...
But not with services 😜☺️
Definitely prefer the look of the base Fireball variant of the Meteor over the top Supernova one.
Today I got to know that Honda CB = City Bike.
I had even checked with the showroom guys, even they didn't know the fullform.
The showroom people hardly know what unique feature each product has. They are only aware of sales and prices!
Then you be a showroom guy you can help us..
And I guess CBR stands for City Bike Racing 🤔
super bro thanks for information even I was wondering for what CB stands for.... 👍
CB, CBF, CBR are the series as per their design characters
You are right about aftermarket customisation. I have the RE interceptor and there are so many ways you can customise this bike with good quality parts at a reasonable price. What I love about the Honda is that it looks like a scrambler/cafe racer. Meteor looks too much like a bobber for my taste.
The Big wing is the biggest weakness of H'ness!!!
The big wing means?
Yeah, but Honda India is very aggressive & they will improve, grow it faster than expected.
Yeah agreed 💯. But quality and reliability of honda can't be matched with any other brands in the universe. The fight was always going to be between the honda and RE. A very well laid out review.
No bro re and honda is completely different.hnesd is like a street bike low end in not that good but mid and high is really good but re is a cruiser.
This shows that... U own a Honda... A great hater of RE.. For sureee
Honda only wins with activa and shine
@@Human0904 nope that's not a street bike
@@dv9239 It actually is.
The RE might be the better bike on day 1, but on day 100, you would wish for the reliability of the Honda.
Very well said considering the legacy.

After watching them for nearly a year, I think Autocar makes the most professional and decisive car /bike reviews in the country.
Purchased RE meteor 350. Unmatched riding comfort.Great bike to own.

As per your standards? So beginners in your country starts with litter class bikes or what? 🤨 LAMO
RE has finally grown beyond just thump
Re is a cruiser. Honda is standar/roadster. You need to drop a gear in honda. But in re it's more suitable to cruiser character and easy to ride.
Honda for me.
I test rode Meteor yesterday. It was good but quite short for my height. Also, Honda engine was soo smooth compared to Meteor.
Vibration engines means Honda
What's ur height?
Meteor's Rider seat will be a negative point, so is the overall length of the seat.
What's your height bro???
Meteor felt underpowered with all its weight.

Why do u wanna go on small cc if u havebig cc bikes?
Honda is reliable
Honda gives off such a retro anime vibe. That thing is a feast for the eyes.
It really has a very distinct japanese bub style
Really looking forward to the Meteor arriving in the UK this summer. Fireball in yellow for me but I’d be more than happy with any of the variants.
Today I booked meteor I can't express my words for the bike when I took a test drive meteor is really a next level
Worst customer service,
This is what most of them waiting but Benalli is just for reference
Finally we have a maintenance friendly n peaceful Royal Enfield in the form of Honda CB 350. The Honda quality is simply unmatched.
Honda h’ness my favourite bike
Autocar reviews are one of the best reviews in this automotive world 🌎

I own the Honda and let me tell yall it is an amazing motorcycle! Go for it!

The 765mm seat height of the RE would be awesome for me.
For me too😀😀
For me too, I'm 5"4"
The 350 Enfield looks best to me. Super cool little bike, considering getting one that I can park next to my other bike.
I have decided royal Enfield.
You helpt me .
Thanks pat from Belgium 👊
Indian engineering is shining inside India now instead of outside in Google or Microsoft. Kudos.
Fit and finish honda refinement tooo 😍
RE means making local mechanics happy , RE products need heavy maintenance , Japanese bikes means reliability guaranteed for 10 years atleast without major expenses
Got my RE meteor 350 stellar a week ago and it's really great
Bro how is the bike ?
I am falling in love in Highness 💕 But only one problem it’s availability and service like my small town 🙁
Honda CB engine was excellent...test ride on Thane crowded road, was promising...salute to city bike CB
I also did it's easy to maneuver
Not "was" , but "is"
Honda is excellent all time, thanks
Honda should make hness available through its local dealership rather than big wing dealership and this bike will give serious competition to RE.
You dont want Highness to get serviced in regular Honda workshops.
Imagine Activa and Highness getting serviced side by side.
Best option meteor 350 coz ko. Tooo much comfortable bike . And one of the best thing is brand which is good thing for buyer
Did u take a test drive bro.. Actually I'm considering meteor only coz comfort is my topmost priority..
Honda is also brand
the next gen classic 350 will have the same refined engine and speedometer, that would double the sales and competitors will be left far behind.
Well said bro 👊👊
That’s not going to happen. Customers now have a formidable option of CB350. RE is known to have consistent niggles while Honda doesn’t.
CB350 will eat into RE sales.
exactly, waiting for the classic 350 in new RE platform
Finally Royal.....now the battle will be legendary!!!!!!
Fit n finish of RE is really impressive n love the exhaust note of honda.
this is what we wanted, i wish perak was also included in this
Booked my RE stellar ..so exicted

I am watching this just after booking my RE Meteor Fireball. I am proud of myself that I have choosen the right bike and my analysis are good.
Exact comparison i was looking forward for.... first i liked the video before seeing itself...
We got a hness 350 before 20 days and I love the bike .
Legit it is a great cruiser and a nice city bike .
The only cons which I found are
The engine heats a lot
Low speed driveability , if u are 20 In second Gear , the bike stalls.
This is as far as my opinion
🙂🤩🙂😀😀
It’s definitely a Meteor for me! - thank for an excellent episode! 🙏👍
After this comparison, I have started to like motorcycles. I am more of a scooter & a car person. However, now I think there is definitely an addition to my likes. Meanwhile, still waiting for the Honda Forza to hit showrooms soon. Will have to compare between the two Hondas then.
Superb & comprehensive comparison. 👏👏👏
I would still go for Honda anyday.
But would have loved if Jawa was added to the comparison instead of the benelli
Exactly
Booked my meteor on 8th nov. waiting for delivery (customised Black color) , really happy I made a good decision.
When is the tentative delivery date ?
im from norway and my dream is buying a royal enfield. i dont care what anyone says they are the most beautiful bikes made today and i dont need any more power. thank you india for keeping them alive!
How much money would one of those cost in norway? I believe taxes on ICE vehicles are quite high there.
Highness ❤❤any day over other 2.
😯
Was waiting for this SO BAD!
I like the fluid lines of the Honda best. Honda also has the best reputation for quality, parts availability and service access. I'm talking globally.
H'ness ❤️
I have ridden imperiale 400 and Dear lord, I fell in love with it.I would give 25k extra just because of the awesome feeling that imperiale give.Just the limited showroom and service centre let it down
The RE's oil change interval is a staggering 10k kms/per year! Which makes it really economical
Don't get too excited brother, they use semi-synthetic oil on an air cooled motor and with such long drain intervals it may lead to issues down the line. Royal Enfield probably did it for marketing purposes and many other companies have done the same, they only need to see the vehicle out of it's warranty period after that it's all on us.
Use synthetic oil, interval will be 10k for any bike.
Tbh How much does an oil change cost realistically?
10K interval on semi-synthetic oil, good luck RE owners with your engine and refinement. Whereas Honda uses Fully Synthetic oil. Oil needs to replaced every 6-7k whatever the oil it is pushing 10k is too much.
It depends on riding condition as well..
Too confused between honda and RE. I will wait for 2021 classic 350.
meteor engine in classic 350
For classic u need to for 1 yr from now...
I was confused between Hness and RE but after taking a test drive it is always Hness. A smooth motor with performance and the way it rides . I Choose Honda . and if anyone do not believe ,Take a Test ride
Booked this yellow one and waiting for the delivery
Was a RE hater , but falling for RE now.
RE is doing a commendable job.
Can't believe meteor outperforms the hness in many aspects 🤯🤯 wow a much needed stepup from RE 🥳😍
Indian pride RE❤️
Très bon comparatif. Félicitation !
Very good comparative. Congratulation !
Unfortunatly, the Honda is not sold in France. I have recently tested the Meteor. Very easy to driver. It will be me second motobike. The first one is a TransAlp 650.
Honda is great with numbers but I too felt that the RE would give me better cruiser experience. Why would I choose RE over Honda?
✓ Better Comfort for rider and pillion
✓ Customizability and design of RE
✓ Halogen bulb which not only adds to retro look but has better visibility over Honda's LEDs
✓ Dealership and delivery experience
✓ Long group rides arranged by RE regularly
✓ Storage options and range of accessories available for RE
✓ Perfectly sized gears on RE for city and highway
✓ Turn by turn navigation and better placed usb port on RE
✓ price
Finally hness is on a proper review comparison and the fact that Honda doesn’t want their hness reviewed is a little sceptical 🧐
Yeah unlike RE... Honda didn't provide any test bikes to media and other reviewers.. 🤦🏻♂️ and also the big wing showrooms thing is ridiculous 😖
I recently bought Meteor Supernova Blue. I loved about pros of the same bike in this video.
finally ,the wait is over
For what
Meteor is getting quite famous in foreign markets. Especial UK and US. They want fun experience with these bikes.
Honda H'ness 👌❤️❤️is love . Fully classy look
Your reviews are so good coz you saying about the vehicles quality and if is there any problem with that you find it and talks about it or show it. that's cool and helps people who are going to buy it. most of the reviewers forgets that part
I'd choose Honda. I've had many issues with my RE Classic 350. Maintenance and service is worst when it comes to RE.
Honda design&tech shared with rebel 1100. Global tech experience, oldest experience, looks very different & sexy.
RE all the way in this segment. It has a soul which can never be felt on other brands. Also they have ageless design
This is the best bike review I have seen for comparison.
You helped me decided on the meteor 350.
Much love from the UK 🇬🇧 🇮🇳
I've got delivery of H'ness a week ago😊
Congrats 👏 Buddy

Finally a proper review of Honda Hness
The market where I live does not have access to CB500 and Imperiale 400 Yet, your video is very good.
Rishaad is such a good reviewer! Awesome stuff.
I taken test drive of Honda...no one come close to Honda..by the way I am old RE customer.
Did you took TestDeive Meteor?
What's your old ride in re
That's fake, you are saying you are old RE customer...
If you are an RE customer you won't go for Honda
Test ride the new RE Meteor, it will surprise you.
@@nimalshayas4457 classic 350..2017 BS3 model..
It is a huge thing for RE that one of their product is being compared against the best of motorcycle brands ever, still not left behind.
Honda is love ❤️❤️
I have ridden highness yesterday at Coimbatore... It is very easy to turn the bike.. ie. Turning radius is very good. I could easily control the bike without laying my legs down
RE is RE. And now, they are smooth too. Wait till classic come with this engine option and new chassis.
Got my highness a week ago. Fast delivery of vehicle unlike RE meteor which has waiting time of 4 months.
Man...Honda killed in looks
Finishing is next level🔥
Two of those three bikes aren't available for sale in the USA, but I still enjoyed your review. Then again, I'm one of remarkably few Iron Barrel Bullet riders over here, so I'm a bit partisan.
Much awaited comparison! I booked Meteor 350
It's love at first ride! It's just awesome and fun too ride. You can customise your bike as per your choice. Awaiting the delivery now!
Which is the bike good for daily commuters and for city use honda highness or RE metero plz suggest
