What a trip it was: rehearsals in the afternoon, then I would go off and mark my scripts, which were lyric sheets, as I watched VHS tapes of rehearsal. The newscast ended at 6:30, and the terrific KGMB night shift would then have thirty minutes to move into concert mode. The audience filed in, and at 7PM, we were live. Total fun!
