a intimidade do violão nas mãos do luíz... claramente não é um compositor, é só alguém que tem um aparelho nas suas mãos e com ele brinca, esfrega os dedos, desvela sons, rasga acordes... compreendo o título de introspecção, porque nada de mais intimo existe entre um violinista e seu violâo, que a cada dia pega seu instrumento, mas para quê? para a tristeza, alegria, angústia, não sei, mas o violão, em seus ruídos de máquina, aprendeu a falar mais do que os homens.

Have loved this album for a couple years and wish I could find more of this stuff but I haven't came accross anything quite like it. I don't remember how I found it but I'll listen to it forever probably
You should listen to ‘Bola Sete - Shamballa Moon’ if you haven’t already.
Check out other stuff by him! "Bonfá Burrows Brazil" in quite beautiful also (I especially love the last track)
There also are many other bossa nova artists you could discover, like Antonio Carlos Jobim (my favorites of his are right now his Stoneflower and "Inédito" albums), Baden Powell, Paulinho Nogueira, Laurindo Almeida...
Luiz Bonfá captures the genius of Brazilian music. His compositions transport me to another world in a gentle, natural way.
