Blimey, glad that Keith was ok, and all was sorted out. It was great seeing you at the show, your layout is superb. You have an open invite to come and run your 5" at Derwen Fawr any Sunday that isn't a bank holiday weekend 👍🏻
Wow, that was a pretty unexpected accident, lucky no one got hurt, I feel sorry for Ivy. Unfortunately, an accident may happen at some point. For this accident to happen, there would have to be a considerable slope in the loop.
Poor Ivy! I hope she doesn’t suffer any PKSD… These things happen. I had a 16mm version, also on a LH bend MASSIVE train wreck. #gardenrailway ua-cam.com/users/shorts4QL5Kk_QFBQ?feature=share
Wow. Maybe super elevation of the loop is in order. Does the band ever practice at your house? Might be quite a sight to see the entire band riding in the train. Speed "Dead Slow".
Haha no we tend to practise in Weston super Mare. I find super-elevation can cause derailments in this gauge. Strange but I find dead level everywhere works best. I have done some track work today and it won't be a problem now. You can do the loop without excessive speed now.
Huh, both of our engines went over in the same week. I can't recommend battery tie downs and battery boxes enough. Still had to deal with battery acid though. What type of batteries does Ivy have?
Glad you are all fine! About batteries, how many effective kwh do yo need. what voltage does it work? I have small electric motorcycle workshop, maybe I can help you.
OOPS!! - I bet that woke Keith up - No doubt the fire buckets came in useful for the washing ;-)
Haha no need for that thankfully.

It was lean on the loco body, springs too soft, driver leaning back and track was level but the grade required speed which has all now been sorted.

Ouch! Yes everything is fine now. Was your loco ok?
Whoops! At least no major damage and no injuries
Yes indeed. Was a bit scary for a while.

Check for the "lurking ghost" of Charles Dickens! Glad you are both okay and sorted out the damage. The learning curve continues!
Oh yes! Speed restrictions and new gradient profile now.
Poor old keith forever immortalised on you tube !!
I knew I would be famous one day 😂
@@keithfitzgerald1705 glad you relented and let me use the footage. It was priceless.
Oh my! Glad you both are ok.
Yes no injuries thankfully!

They are gel batteries. Sorry to hear you had a disaster too!
