All these brands are so great! Having met the folks at Lorier and Brew, it makes them even better that they have great people behind them. I also love my Autodromo Group B Night Stage II. That automotive inspiration era was when I was getting into cars as a kid, so it really hits a sweet spot for me.
You are so right about the Miyota traveller GMT movement making such watches available affordably. I just picked up the excellent Smiths Traveller from Timefactors for £400. The choice will only grow from here. Love that Brew!!
the Brew metric is hands down the most value for money, retro cool looking watch. I would also like to bring your focus to Singapore based micro brand Vario. I have been a fan of their collection
Thanks guys. I’m a fan of Lorier and it would be great if you could video and post another interview with Lauren and Lorenzo at some point. I’ve had a Neptune for a few years and just added the new Gemini Nero which is on the wrist right now!
Fabulous collection of watches! I have the AnOrdain Model 2 in a very dark green and it’s my favourite watch by a mile. What watch is Blake wearing? Lovely looking watch.
Good review. I know of the brands that you featured however I don't own any of them. My personal picks are Squale. I have the Matic. I also like Norqain. I have the Adventure. Tourby is my favorite microbrand. I have the Lawless.
I've just bought an Enoksen Deep Dive, be lovely to hear your thoughts on this micro brand thats manufactured in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Many thanks.
Great video and love your watches. I have 6 Autodromo pieces in my collection, including the W&W Prototipo Ltd Ed (and the Hodinkee Group B S4!). Other microbrands in my collection are Farer, Omologato, Zelos, NEZUMI, REC, Mr Jones and Christopher Ward. Unique, individual and quality. I live microbrands!
Is Christopher Ward still considered a microbrand? I would think the number and variety of watches and production numbers would have moved them out of that space.
Just picked up the Addiesdive 'AD2030' Deep Sea Hunter. Fantastic dress watch with Seiko VH31 MechaQuartz movement and GS style dial! Under $100. highly recommend
I shouldn't have returned the Worn & Wound x Autodromo Group B I had for a day. A hasty return decision. Additionally, I should have kept my Worn & Wound x Christopher Ward C65 Sandstorm. Let's say my choice to keep may have swayed in its favor had I updated my eyeglass prescription. Anyways..both collab watches had what could be one of your signature color palletes of grays and light blue/teal. Going back to the Group B. I am waiting for some new colors they are said to release closer towards the end of this year. My favorites are the Night Stage variants. I hope they make more maybe in the next new batch/run. I used to have a lot of microbrands. Currently, I only have the Serica 5303-1 which I still really enjoy.. dispite the quirky crown action. It's been a pretty solid performer at not much more than +1 s/d and I love the design aesthetics.
Didn't they sue the reviewers that said negative thing about their watches? Maybe that's the reason only few channels talk about them and they're all paid reviews.
@@dparis2172 google it, one of them was Davido, a famous Italian watch youtuber, they changed their brand name after awhile but that didn't help because the real problem is the low quality of their watches and the old machines they use to make them without proper QC, even in their current lineup there are some models that have misaligned indices due to the above-mentioned facts and they're aware of it. They pay good money for positive reviews but they don't market them globally to keep things in control.
I started colecting watches with the HMS 001 from Baltic and it is still one of my favourites.

Thanks for sharing!
Great episode, nice to see you two sharing some of your favourites, I have a Baltic Aquascaphe which is very wearable, thanks.
Our pleasure!

Oh nice!
You can sell them all and get a Rolex! 😂Kidding. I'm look at a Lorier at the moment. Maen is another I'm interested in

Noted!
Love my Helson and Bernhardt watches. First aware of the brands via W&W years ago.

Great segment, guys. Appreciate the topic very much.
Glad you enjoyed it!
My Baltic Bronze Aquascaphe has been hard to take off my wrist through beach season

I was lucky enough to get the copper dial retromatic as well, absurd value for the price!
Nice!
I like AnOrdain, but watches just aren't available...
Its not a W&W video if there are not at least 2 shirt jackets present.
No hats indoors this time.
:)
Just further evidence that the most interesting watches are coming from the microbrands. It was love at first site with that Anordain.
The Brew is Gorgeous... 😮
I subscribe for email and when I visit I get the insidious pop-up prompting registration. Complete BS since this isn't a bug. Amateur hour? 😉
i cant believe they do not own a Ming watch.. its the king of microbrands a must have
Not yet!
Pls pay attention to Venezianico

@@Sam_DThat’s kind of wild if true and would make them a hard pass, by me.

Why are they so expensive !!!!!!
Maybe the title could be: Microbrands that pay!
These are our personal watches, no one has paid for anything here. Thanks for watching
What even
Why feature models and references that are no longer available? Makes no sense.
These watches are in our personal collections, we’re not aiming to sell them. Just talk and be enthusiastic about them :) Thanks for watching!
Where is San Martin? Dislike!
It kills me that the autodromo doesn't have any group B watches available. It's been teased that they would return summer 2023. ..
Still waiting 🫠
They just did a presale at the end of August. They're opening again in October.
They literally just had a pre-order window open
@@rflag54 it'd be nice to find info about it on their website. No mention of it.
