One tip- while applying foundation, blend it to your lips as well. Then even if you overline your lips, it's gonna be inconspicuous as your natural lip color won't be showing due to the foundation. Also, the actual color of the lipstick will show since the color of our natural lips isn't going to affect it in any way due to the foundation on top

Kelsey Beauty You can make your own lip exfoliating medium by mixing a spoonful of Vaseline and regular sugar together, and a food grade flavoring oil, like dipping a tooth pick in peppermint oil and adding until it tingles. You put the stuff on your lips and gently rub your lips together for about 45 seconds. Remember, do it gently and not for too long as you can give yourself rug burn, but on your lips if you’re too overzealous.
