Thank you so much for making this video. You're the only one who has shown the two different ways to do this. I thought I needed the premium version in able to make it happen but you just became my life saver! Thank you!
Can you confirm: for the Outlook Windows client delay send, do I need to have outlook open for it to send at the delayed time? My understanding is that if you have a delay send, close outlook, it won't send until you open outlook up again. Thanks.
I still can’t find a way to actually have outlook send a delayed message when the computer is off. So if I set up a delay, schedule an email to be sent on Friday morning, but I am off on Friday, the message will not send until I open my Laptop and login and open Outlook. I’d be nice to have a Calendar set up an outlook where the messages are only sent during certain times, regardless of when we draft them. So that if we work late in the night and we don’t want to bother people outside of working hours we can delay those actually sending out until the next morning.
This is very useful! Thank you so much, one question for you is whether I can use the delay delivery on all emails in web based outlook, If yes could you include that in your next video
Well - Sometimes I work Saturdays; But it would be a great idea to send the emails than, but the receiver should see them delivered Monday. How can I do this?
@Harry Lowton. Thanks for this amazing videos. Would you know the reason while outlook delay email will be sent twice? User had an outlook rule to delay messages from being sent for 2minutes so the stay in outbox. User made changes and after they were made she hit send again and after the 2minutes delay it was sent, user however reports they received 2 emails which includes the original email (could not locate in her sent items) and the updated message in sent items only reflect the updates email as being sent.
Your explanation is great, I came here trying to find how to set up a date then found out how to delay all my emails (I've been searching for this!! it helps me a lot cuz I don't have to recall them when I get something wrong...). I have question, if I send it on Monday and set "do not deliver before Friday" , will the receiver see if the email was created/written on Monday? or will they only see that it was sent on Friday?
What if I get a message saying "The rule has a condition that the server cannot process. The action 'stop processing more rules' will prevent all remaining server rules from being carried out. Are you sure this is what you want to do?
On Monday I scheduled an email to be sent on Wednesday. After it has been sent, when I go to my sent folder although it was sent on Wednesday the email is still located under the Monday date. Is there a way to change this for easier viewing?
Didnt help me unfortunately. I know the concept of scheduling email for a later date. But it doesn’t actually do it since I got this new work laptop. (The old one did it correctly) I made sure it’s connected to internet, plugged into power and not fully logged out… still nada………
Hello!!!! Can you please explain to me Siri than later, how to include my calendar availability in an email? So that someone can select the time and date that they would like to meet with me
5:23 How can I set up an automatic negative delay? So Outlook basically intuits my thoughts, formulates best verbiage to elicit desired response, and sends?
I guess it would be too much to ask Microsoft to keep it consistent and call it Delayed Delivery in both versions, or Send Later in both versions? It's like McDonalds calling their burger Big Mack in one store and Big Crack in another...

How can you change the DEFAULT date and time for delay send... to a time that works so that you don't have to keep changing it for every email?
Hi! Is there any way to schedule an email to be sent at a specific time via the phone app (outlook)?
Thank you so much for making this video. You're the only one who has shown the two different ways to do this. I thought I needed the premium version in able to make it happen but you just became my life saver! Thank you!

Extra tip: Schedule for a more random time such as 9:12 or 8:53 so it would come off as 'natural' as possible
Good tip, thanks for sharing!
Good idea!

I would love to know if there is an option to schedule an recurrent email.

I wonder my doesn't send. Does Outlook need to be opened?
If you do it from the Outlook client, it needs to online and connect for this to work.
GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL

is there a way to delay Outlook e-mails using the IOS version of the app on an IPAD?
5:23 How can I set up an automatic negative delay? So Outlook basically intuits my thoughts, formulates best verbiage to elicit desired response, and sends?
do you have to have Outlook running to be able to send a delayed email at your set time?
Hi, can you change the default delay delivery time? This would save me some time.
I have been wondering the same thing. I also work pretty late and I hate to have to set those times for every single reply.
