I know it’s not what the main point of the video is, but as a gear chronicle player with a shit ton of ztb stuff, having the ztb heal get buffed is super exciting, especially with the cray elemental that buffs 11k vanguards to 13k
making the new quick shield staple required in every deck a RRR, nice. I love that premium now has its own version of effect triggers, who needs new players who can't commit to expensive staples.
The new messiah plus the errata of the CC/SC heals is interesting for DP. Now we can consider again to run the superior ride engine to get to dailiner 100% of the time together with first stride if we get the first turn. The messiah guardian ticket would help to get at least something against early aggression while you set up for the superior ride. Only issue is G-zone space because now it really starts to get super tight for DP in that regard.
Greedon masques is kind of mid, you can do 4 attacks consistently now but lots of the good old greedon support works only specifically with the old greedon or just don't interact the same way with the masques
I think the greedon is pretty good, some support is lost just cuz name lock like the cc but bubetsu and the guard restrict cards still work so the deck doesnt lose much
Greedon kinna fine. No eating CB like other masked. Eat less desire devils (since you will run Skull khemda for mask searcher, and use old self to find desire devil that you miss to use in 2nd attack). The down side is always the same for masked deck, balancing deck.
7:05 Fyi if u place quick shield as lock on board, it stays locked. It will only vanish once it gets unlocked. It doesnt care what u put to R u still put it as lock. The circle will only see that it is an order card when it gets unlocked. Its the same thing as like how Cosmic Dawn can get you an elementaria sanctitude from deck Edit: for protect I yes it disappears as it is explicitly stated in the rulings that when protect I is placed as lock, it disappears. But this is not stated in the ticket pseudo card ruling. So it does not disappear when placed as lock.
I don't think that's correct. Normal orders and blitz orders can be placed as locked, but a ticket is a "pseudo card", and therefore can only exist in the zones it's specifically designed to exist within (something which is made clear in the rulings, so only order zone or hand). Protect 1 specifies it can't be placed as locked but quick shield says it can't exist anywhere other than hand or order zone, just because it doesn't specify that it can't be placed as locked doesn't meant it can. I think we can infer from the fact that pseudo cards as a rule can't exist outside their designated zones that quick shields can't be put as locked, even though the rules don't specifically say that like they do with protect 1. (for context, I'm a chaos player, i'd love to be able to hand lock tickets XD but I don't think the rules support it)

But it takes them 1 more point in the ruling to specify that protect 1 disappears when put as lock. This indicates that these "can only exist in certain zones" doesnt apply when it is locked Edit: it is more logical to say "just because it doesnt say cannot means it can" compared to "just because it doesnt say cannot means it cannot"

Obviously if they said NOTHING about being put as locked then the logical assumption would be they can be put as locked, but since it says they can't exist outside their designated zones, and putting as locked would = putting it outside their designated zone, then the logical assumption based on that evidence is they can't be put as locked. (for e.g.. the rules never explicitly state that I can't grab my opponent deck and chuck it across the room, but other rulings say things like you must play in a way that is kind and considerate to your opponent, so despite the lack of specific clarification about chucking my opponents deck, I can assume based on the other rulings that it's not allowed) The only real evidence to your point is that the rulings for protect 1 explicitly state that they can't be put as locked cards, and since quick shield lacks that specific clarification then it must be fair game, but I think given both have the general rule of "can't exist outside their designated zone" then we can infer from that that quick shields can't be put as locked. The Messiah unlock ability so stupid, even fight with Chaos. You unlock them but Chaos SB will retire them and they can draw for each card you unlock with Messiah, not like you must discard for each card unlock. It like -n for you and +n to your opponent (n are each card you unlock). That not mention about Chaos can remove your gift and gets a gift when he activate this ability.
It’s really just do you want an extra draw with a free discard or a free rear guard that can do something for you, so it’s more of a take your pick since with the messiah you are gonna get a bigger shield anyway now
However don’t forget, going first mean you get to ride your V grade 3 faster and with new strides, having the old grade 3t then you can stride while your opponent is on grade 2, so yeah going second better have huge lead in terms of advantage to justify itself
I'd say going 2nd is getting more fair because right now if I got to chose I'm going first all the time... I don't see this ticket changing that it just makes going 2nd better
Why do you assume going 2nd means you get to choose what you stride? If I notice your deck isn’t a shitty high roll deck, I will likely still g2 game you or do ride downs.
The biggest problem I have with Greedon Masque that makes me think it's the worst Masque or a nerf to OG greedon for now is the fact it doesn't count itself as the OG greedon bc some strong desire devil cards need OG greedon as VG. Even the G2 rideline want OG Greedon to make VG hit harder. So, This Masque can have more waves than OG but most waves would hit like wet noodle.
Not entirely true, being a masque deck you get fairly consistent persona rides plus dragontree markers for your front row. Yeah you lose a lot of old desire devils but you get to keep kenen and incane which are the only ones you really want. It’s faster and doesn’t have to wait for 4 damage and 10 soul to go for I think people are underestimating this new masque.

So yes it disappears if you put protect 1 as lock. However when u search the ruling, unlike marker pseudo cards, ticket pseudo cards never have a text saying "ticket disappears when put to RC as locked" So conclusion for tickets it stays locked. Only protect 1 is the exception
