Not only do you face spinbotters every other game but in ranks like gold nova you end up getting matched against faceit lvl 10s and closet cheaters, yet in LEM-GE games you either get matched with spinbotters or players who are absolute trash for some reason.
Yeah, I’m still silver elite master after 170 games xD. Once I hit gold 1 and met vac duo on overpass. But most of the time there are obvious wallers and as you said really bad teammates while enemy is faceit tryhard ☠️

Played a moron on dust 2 last night that had zero game sense, never checked an angle but if you came ever so slightly into the field of view you were instantly head shotted. He was so good that when he jumped off short to mid, he span around mid air and hit a deagle headshot on suicide. He did this twice. Amazing plays!
just played vs Kazakh 5 stack, 1 pro & 4 bots, the pro was killing it in the first half until I called him out using the popular cheat brand names, suddenly they start trolling and we get to from 10:2 to 10:8 , then they take the control back. I watched the demo and he did very good job at hiding it but slipped away in a few crucial rounds. Bot movement, 600 hours, runs with knife with no fear of being heard, shit aim with magic HS's , the closet cheaters are a different breed.
There is no change basically. The cheating problem is the same. Nobody gets banned mid game, there are spinbotters as they have always been. No difference whatsoever.

the fact that there are some new strings present in the game doesn't mean that VACnet has been updated or even enabled at all and if it did, then all the cheaters would still be waiting for their ban wave anyway

The changelog only says: "Added Overwatch system to **enable** match demo review by trusted partners" This sounds like a software engineer wrote the changelog, meaning that the trusted partners (maybe trusted partners = company. Like they did hire a third party company for steam support tickets) now have an API, but the tools to review the demos and the people who should review demos aren't implemented or trained yet.
old cheats in counter strike 1.5 were something like this, but it was more tied to framerate, cheater with biggest framerate would dominate other cheaters, you couldn't even touch him even thought you had identical cheats, I'm kind of happy instant headshots across the map made their way back to CS, reminds me of days 20 years ago
Actually I’m really happy about the case farmer thing because if you don’t know it’s the reason you continuously get into comp games (not premier) and only 5 people accept and the queue becomes 8-20 mins instead of 2-5 mins. This is because case farmers try to get all of their 10 accounts into the same games.
If they want an AI thing to the anti-cheat, I think it would be easier to train it on farmers than cheaters since they are less dynamic. This way they can ensure the model properly recognizes some kind of behavior. Then it can be expanded.
Don't tell me it's difficult to add an automatic banning system for players who shoot their entire magazine in a shorter time - than is possible in the game - or kill all opponents in 3 seconds from the start of the round, or teleport, or move faster than in the game possible, for a consistent time... And so on.
Personally I got a few cheater banned recently since the update, so it seems to have worked in some ways. Some cheaters also said that their cheat wasn't working since the update came out

Like anomaly said, probably for reasons other than cheating. I saw I had 3 new people banned, but they all have between 0.8 k/d and 1.1 k/d when I played against them. They're probably not cheating. But who knows? Valve are so secretive about VAC and overwatch that it seems it's not even sure what to do with Valve secrecy😂

And I believe that with overwatch the case is that the requirements are hidden so we don't know how to get access to it and possibly they only now started collecting demos for overwatch which means it will take some time otherwise there wouldn't be demos for people to watch. I’m glad I haven’t grinded my ranks in cs2 because it’s only like 1/5 matches that I encounter a cheater being in low elo. Hopefully with all the feedback about how bad the cheating situation is, Valve actually cooks something up to deal with them. Imo the game would be so perfect if they find a way to “thanos snap” all of the cheaters, it’s definitely the game’s biggest flaw atm. 👌
found out one of my friends I was queueing with were using walls, reported and now he has a VAC ban. Some other people I know were also walling don't have VAC bans yet though, so mixed bag for sure on those.

the first game i played on the update someone got kicked for "irregular gameplay" but the game didn't get cancelled and they where bottom of the leaderboard after 5 rounds
Duo qued cheaters in my 12.5K game yesterday - bhop script, spinning, jumping headshots, the whole lot. Brand new accounts with no steam profile set up and random number generator names. Was unusual for me to see them that blatant before the update but often some suspicious characters with walls/silent aim/radar…. We will have to see how this update helps with the blatant cheaters but I think Overwatch being added bodes well for the ones trying to hide it since the demo never lies

Actually today played gold nova -1, one spinbot in our team and no vac live. But to be honest, lots of cheaters are hiding and its more interesting to play, than last week. Played premier 15.000 2 days ago, were 3 guys with WH without aim bots, then just playing MM on silvers - gold, sometimes getting legit, but atleast playable
I think jumping symbol for killing shouldn’t be for grenades because how you can kill someone when you jump you can only jump and throw grenade to like burn someone
i thought them focusing on the case farmers and booter bot accounts is because the bot accounts end up being trusted playing through so many games that they get invited to do overwatch cases, giving cheat creators a way to skew the results of vacnet and nullify the effectiveness of it ..

I've been playing since beta release, today I experienced my first HvH in a wingman match. I felt it was a waste of time bcz i couldn't do anything
My hack still working tho. Box ESP and Aimbot. Works like a charm.
Meanwhile, Team Fortress 2 is stuck with VAC 1 and the game is nearly unplayable with the bots

Hackers will always be 1 step further. I got some nice undetected hacks that working like a charm. No vac will ever find it.

Played premier 15.000 2 days ago, were 3 guys with WH without aim bots, then just playing MM on silvers - gold, sometimes getting legit, but atleast playable

I think jumping symbol for killing shouldn’t be for grenades because how you can kill someone when you jump you can only jump and throw grenade to like burn someone
i thought them focusing on the case farmers and booter bot accounts is because the bot accounts end up being trusted playing through so many games that they get invited to do overwatch cases, giving cheat creators a way to skew the results of vacnet and nullify the effectiveness of it ..
There has been invisible bans for people using anti aim cheats and a lot of rage cheaters have been getting banned
