if this happened during Stabler’s original tenure on SVU, before he came back, I’m very positive that he wouldn’t have stopped working and trying to find where Benson was. Whether she is considered to be his true love, sister figure, or best friend, he would’ve made sure that Lewis was fried.
Yeah I was like oh if Elliot was there for this he would have been on an absolute RAMPAGE.
Declan Murphy told her that he would have killed this evil man.
Then when he takes the stand he tells the "Big thruth". Benson has been able to put an end to these crimes.
Even if he took his life away - he was humiliated to the bottom...

Pablo Schreiber’s portrayal of William Lewis was nothing less than magnificent!! He should have won a shelf full of Emmys…..well done!!

This episode was so scary that I can't even watch the clip again. Of all the criminals on all the Law & Order franchises, this was the absolute worst. Perhaps it was his ability to fake normalcy that made him so repellent.

Mariska is great in these episodes. To have been doing this show for 15 years at this point and still being her A game? Sort of unheard of. The other actor being top notch definitely helped.

I've watched the William Lewis episodes at least 5x, and in spite of knowing the outcome, I get scared every time 🤦🏼♀️🥺
This had to happen in the post Stabler era because it gave the audience a chance to see that Olivia can take care of herself and be strong and independent without Stabler. It was her time to grow and shine.
She needs to tell Stabler about this!!!!!!
Mannnn this episode made me miss the hell out of Stabler. He would’ve tortured homie back or gave him the whole clip. Maybe both. I mean Finn and them did a good job and all but ain’t nothing like Stabler when it comes to Benson.
I wish the other criminal obsessed with Benson would come back sooner or later to see if he was sentenced to death (since the agents probably figured out how to find out how he killed his victims). And also the Velasco's enemy (the one who had killed a boy in the swimming pool and received 30 years). More than anything, I'm shocked that in 30 years he will be free again. Who knows what happened to them.
