There is a great video on youtube from mine lab that shows you all the important adjustments and settings as well as ground balancing technique using the E.G. I highly recommend it.
Still learning how to use the detector. Havnt got out as much as Id like too, But thats all about to change now that I got a new GoPro hero 3 woot, Ill have more metal detecting videos coming.
FYI, when you go over the gold it should be sounding off nice loud and crisp......Noticed yours was not, want to know why????? Check your sensitivity knob, it was all the way turned down.
Can you make a test where you dig a littl hole ...deep like 5 - 10 and 15 inch and try detect underground.... i plan buying this detector and go in Hungary and Romania to find gold.
