This man said these people are living on the land with free rent...as if they don't OWN THE DAMN LAND and pay the taxes!!

So the developer thinks that paying taxes for 100 years is living there "scott free". makes me sick.

Damn, that's truly heart breaking. 550 acres sold for $1,100 an acre, with Low ball appraisal from the county. That's robbery

This happened to my buddy. Many times we don’t understand the law. Rather than being so concerned with who the President of the US is these are the laws that really affect us

Very important for African-American families to buy out those heirs that no longer want to own their share of the land and put it under a legal trust to protect it from being sold into the hands of those that do not have an interest in preserving a legacy for future generations. Land still has significant value in the US.

Living rent free? The whole point of passing down land to our children is so They will always have somewhere to live, never have to worry about rent, so they don't have to struggle the way I did.

They need to ensure that anyone wanting to sell their own portion of land MUST give first refusal to the other shareholders. They shouldn’t be allowed to offer outsiders first dibs! This is unconscionable!

I sent this video to my family members and my friends, we have got to STOP sitting in ignorance and learn the laws, this is modern day and we're still going through this!! Unbelievable

This is a prime example of how uneducated we are about what we have in our possession! Over 400 acres of land, multiple heirs and no one has a clue as to how the laws work in favor of someone coming along and asking who wants to sell their portion of the land. If no one would have sold, he couldn't have done a thing! If the heirs would have educated themselves, no one would have sold their portion. In our culture though...this doesn't apply to all.....we are more concerned with how much money we can make regardless of the consequences and we know nothing about investments and assets! If you ask the average black person if that 50k car they're driving is an asset, investment or a liability, most would say an asset/investment! When something depreciates, its a liability and is only an asset if you own it and it at least maintains its value. An investment is something that appreciates in value as time progresses i.e. a home or land. Without education and knowledge, we will never understand how to make real progress financially!

Back stabbed by relatives. This always happens when a little money is flashed in someone's face.

"You look at me as evil" . Dude you are evil. Just because you act nice and you're "friendly" doesn't mean you're not evil.

Imagine if all those families pooled together and started manufacturing their own timber. They would have definitely been able to create generational wealth and no one would have got kicked out of their homes. In fact they could have build communities. Thank you for this eye opening document!

This is really sad. The government tried to take my land before. My lawyer told me putting it in the form of a family trust was the correct way to protect it forever.

The great thing about this is there are still ways for us to get our land back. Start tracing your lineage and fight for your land. You must be consistent and it will take years but it is important to do for your families legacy.🖤
