What it says about the klingons is what it says about us killing the son of god as many of us are Christian and believe him to be. Even if u do not share this belief, you’re at least aware that other people believe it and therefore should be able to grasp the concept of my original comment - what it says about klingons doing it is what it says about us doing it.
@@sidneyshaw9814 Ezekiel 20 46 Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field; 47 And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. 48 And all flesh shall see that I the Lord have kindled it: it shall not be quenched. 49 Then said I, Ah Lord God! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
Clarification: At 13:32 I say "Captain" Benjamin Sisko. At the time he was still a Commander, as it wasn't until later that he was promoted to Captain. However, even though he only had the rank of Commander, he was considered "Captain" of the USS Defiant, as those in command of a ship were addressed as Captain regardless of rank.

These videos are so enthralling, takes me back to the time I'd get home post after school activities late in the afternoon and watch some star trek re-runs
Tbh the klongon always reminded me of the ancient Sasanian Empire irl, with the way their houses always clashed and they were seen as foreign and warlike idk it just really bears resemblance to me
Biggest thing came right at the start . All humanoid species in Star Trek share the same origins in a progenitor species?? That is honestly an excellent way to explain the similarities between all the humanoid races. When you created this , did you find more somewhere in Star Trek that supports this fascinating theory? If so where?
As much as I love this universe.. the plot armor thay the federation enjoys is mind boggling. So the Romulans lose their star and home worlds, Klingons lose their moon that severely hampered them. You really see this plot armor in play in star trek online..
Great video as usual, the narration is so good i like the cadence and rhythm as you pronounce the words. lt would be awesome if you were a colour commentator callingba baseball game haha 😄

Hey, you do lotr stuff too right? What’s the deal with wizard staffs? Like they seem to need the staffs to do some of the stuff they do if not all the stuff they do, but aren’t they themselves supposed to be super powerful magical beings? Why do they need staffs? Was there any point besides esthetics?
Technically they didn't need their staffs for magic, but they did help focus and sustain their power since their abilities were limited in their human form. They were also a sign of authority and rank.
Totally lost interest when halfway through the video the DRASTIC physiology changes in just a few generations wasn't addressed... and that doesn't even count the insane orc makeover of the horrible Discovery version that needs to be erased from all memory. Geez even TNG addresses it when they go back in time to the tribbles episode LOL (but just with a cheeky "don't ask")
I love your work! However, you lost me on this one the moment you included the abomination woke trek Discovery show in your Canon timeline. I look forward to your other videos!
No it isn't. Remember, Star Trek had low budgets so they had to make most of their species humanoid, so they might as well try to fit that into the storyline and explain it and stuff.
Ngl I kinda hate that you added the crap from Discovery as lore for the Klingons when the Klingons in the show are a giant retcon to the canon. Kurtzman Trek is not canon to me but I understand others feel differently, it's just kinda depressing really.
If they keep it to TNG/DS9 centric klingons and not the Michael Burnham head shaved crap theres always been so much potential for a klingon series... give us a dishonored bird of prey and crew, something unique, give no character plot armor.... it would be glorious! 😊

The fact that one of the baselines of Klingon culture is that they killed their own gods is probably all you need to know about Klingons as a people.
Probably because those gods didn't create them and were just oppressors
Who was it that killed Jesus

Never come across a straightforward history, thanks. This channel has a lot of charm, all the best

You are on the council but we do not grant you the official rank of Captain. Sisko: what that's outrageous it's unfair
It's also not unusual to give historic personages their highest title when discussing them.

Love the Klingons! Awesome work!
I think the Klingon Empires greatest challenge was their struggle against the Tribbles
I still want a epic saga song about the great Tribble slaughter
The Klingons are one my favorite aliens in science fiction. I love this channel thank you.
This channel is a treasure
Great work, thanks for this video

It's from an episode of TNG.
Your channel will fly this year
Worst moment in Klingon history? That moment they're all stood on the bridge of the "IKS-short-bus" shouting "we are Klingons!" To absolutely no one

Should I watch star treck? I watched like 20 minutes of the very first episode but I got sooo bored
I’m currently writing a Fanfic of a Human born on Qo'noS.
1:37 "begining the greatest love story in Klingon history"
Bro their Adam and Eve killed fricking gods
So how did they invade all those other planets and Breen space BEFORE the Hur'q attacked them, if that's where they got warp technology?
Is the Discovery era Klingons just an aesthetic look or Gould their be an in universe reason for the change?
Who cares? Best to just ignore that shit.

P.s. great vid

No mention of Kruge? Oh well
He was a dishonorable piece of baktag. Let Fek'lhr feast on his flesh forever in Gre'thor!
Who did the Klingons conquer??
Klingon is hold again
And it broke again

Ummm I'm pretty sure Romulans came from Vulcans
they were exiled vulcans
The Progenitors is one of the stupidest and most unnecessary ideas ever in Star Trek.

Discovery is just bad fan fiction.
I'm new to the Star Trek fandom after playing Star Trek Online but I thought the Discovery uniform and Klingons looked neat

I hated the re-imagining of the Klingons, they were turned into horror movie monsters. Not the honorable culture they once were. It was disgusting.

goddamn it man, dont bring STD lore, they are not canon, they are not even star trek, its just a trash fanfic shit , i am super disappointed
Not bad, until you started including stuff from discovery.
