I just did my head lights and now going to do the fog lights next! I might get some decent bulbs or coloured LED ones if I’m making the effort also. Thanks for posting
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 I have a red custom lit stereo, so was thinking red also. I spent two years sick so just bored and making projects on the car now!
Double check. Because I know here in Canada red can only be used on tail lights here but we can use other colors. I guess it’s because you may confuse other drivers. It may confuse them thinking they are looking at the back of a car when they are looking at the front. They say it can confuse and cause an accident. I think it’s a bit dramatic but that’s what they do here
so uh.. was replacing mine and there's a black insert inside the slot that apparently can twist out and now I can't get that black insert back in and get my lights back in lol
Turns out the black insert was from the LED bulb and it came off lol. I was able to get one back on and properly install it but one is kind of loose but stays in. @@BillOfAllTrades2016
Not sure how they are doing. Got rid of the car on New Year’s Day. I wasn’t a fan of them though. They caused all kinds of radio interference. I tried ferrite clips but nothing helped. Hope you found the video helpful and hopefully if you get LEDs they won’t cause you as many issues. Please like and subscribe
@@BillOfAllTrades2016 Did it cause interference with the stereo or just the radio stuff? I don’t listen to the radio but worried they will cause static or interference with the stereo now
If you wanna see my video of me replacing my headlights with led lights for piece of mind then check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/QeXoZ7-KRkg/v-deo.html If you are referring to the yellowed lenses I will be restoring them next spring. Do you have any other advice for me😂

Great video. I couldn’t figure out how to get behind the light to change it without taking off all those splash guards underneath the car.
Ya most vibes loose their bumper insterts after 5 years or so. Makes it a lot easier to get to. Glad you found it helpful. Please like and subscribe

Is it legal to put red lights on the front?

New York so I’m not actually sure?

I’m not sure what insert you are referring to. The light is the only thing to twist out.

Ah ok.
How have the LEDs fared on your Vibe?

I'd be replacing those headlights first.
