Also, another thing that helped me a lot when learning English was not using words alone but in sentences. When you do it that way you are practicing a lot of things beside vocabulary... Like grammar and when the structures "feel right/wrong".
As someone who has been learning for over a year (388 consecutive days, not one skipped), I really want to thank you for this video. It's made me think about how I need to start speaking out loud again. I've been finding myself feeling self conscious lately, and so I stopped doing it, but this video was a reminder that it's important to do so. Also, I'm very pleased to say that I passed the test without any fails. I mean, I ought to by now if Duolingo says I know 1,506 words, lol. このビデオをどもありがとう。もち先生の英語の話がうまいですよ遅いじゃないよ!And thank you for giving me the chance to think of all of that organically!
I love this video. It’s perfect. You don’t speak too slowly, you speak clearly. You enunciate perfectly. This lesson is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. I will ALWAYS repeat after you Mochi sensei. 😀
I like repeating you. This is a really nice format for learning Japanese. The only one that wasn't known by me already was kaeru or kaerimasu for "to return home" (ie ni kaeru). If I was on a phone I would type more Japanese but don't have my laptop set up for this yet.
I really liked this approach, great video! I was going to suggest using each word in a sentence but then the quiz section started and that's what you did : )
先生、いつもありがとうございます。:) Thank you so much also for your basic japanese videos. It's really usefully for most of the people seeing verbs and nouns in sentences. It's more easy to memorize and understanding the grammar usage in a context. Greetings from Germany, Andi. またね
Knowing or looking at the kanji helps with learning the pronunciation. The best way for me to learn is by learning the kanji alongside the verbal word.
Very smart. As babies we do imitate and learn by proxy of imitation, context clues, and interaction. Rote memory probably has its place somewhere but some kind of work has to be done for the subtext (underneath the hood of the situation) to stick the words into the mind.
Thank you so very much, I'm gonna meet some Japanese people who speak no English to learn some Japanese but I don't even know how to say one word right in Japanese so I'm really stressed out so thank you so much for your videos!!!
You speak at a perfect speed for others to learn with. I'm passing these over to a friend who is learning and wants to visit Japan soon. Thank you for doing such wonderful and informative videos.
The cadence and sweet tone of your voice are perfect both for studying, and to put on in the background at bedtime. Arigato gozaimasu for all the kawaii and informative videos!
Sensei, I' m srilankan person, How to understand any person say words so speed. But sensei's teaching speed very clear understand me, Thank so much important video Arigatho sensei❤️🇱🇰🇯🇵
I love this dynamic!! It helped me a lot to refresh some material. You're so cool and helpful! I'm sure it's not just me who feels like this. もち先生のどうがは好きです! 本当に有難いです
as far as i am concerned のる means ride not get in. get in would be 入る. i know however that it is indeed 車に乗る. but apparently you could 乗るalso translate it with "get on" or "board"
I don't know about the rest, but in my case I can't speak Japanese after a whole year of studying because I can't compose phrases in real time, and not because I can or cannot say 「りんごを食べる」 I wish I knew if it's because I need to learn more grammar or vocabulary.
All are correct❤ I have a big problem...Sometimes I can't translate japanese to English...Please reply me mochi sensei how I improve my translating skill. From Sri Lanka
You're so cute! Find a way to look at the camera while speaking, and your videos will get sooo much warmer! ^_^ Thanks for this drills and all other videos!
Teacher, I am a student from Sri Lanka, my name is Lakshita, I am seventeen years old, I have been learning Japanese for three months by myself, I have learned Hiragana alphabet from the three Japanese alphabets. Difficult to learn.
"ni" marks the place where you go, "e" marks the direction. So basically in cases like this, you can use both, because result is the same. You wanna go to xxx
No, you don't speak very slowly, it's perfect. I'm Brazilian and I'm start studying through your videos. I love them

I very much appreciate the fact that you speak slowly and clearly, it makes it that much easier to learn. Thank you 🙏🏾
