    Also, another thing that helped me a lot when learning English was not using words alone but in sentences. When you do it that way you are practicing a lot of things beside vocabulary... Like grammar and when the structures "feel right/wrong".

    As someone who has been learning for over a year (388 consecutive days, not one skipped), I really want to thank you for this video. It's made me think about how I need to start speaking out loud again. I've been finding myself feeling self conscious lately, and so I stopped doing it, but this video was a reminder that it's important to do so.
    Also, I'm very pleased to say that I passed the test without any fails. I mean, I ought to by now if Duolingo says I know 1,506 words, lol.
    このビデオをどもありがとう。もち先生の英語の話がうまいですよ遅いじゃないよ!And thank you for giving me the chance to think of all of that organically!

    I love this video. It’s perfect. You don’t speak too slowly, you speak clearly. You enunciate perfectly. This lesson is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. I will ALWAYS repeat after you Mochi sensei. 😀

    I like repeating you. This is a really nice format for learning Japanese. The only one that wasn't known by me already was kaeru or kaerimasu for "to return home" (ie ni kaeru). If I was on a phone I would type more Japanese but don't have my laptop set up for this yet.

    先生、いつもありがとうございます。:) Thank you so much also for your basic japanese videos. It's really usefully for most of the people seeing verbs and nouns in sentences. It's more easy to memorize and understanding the grammar usage in a context. Greetings from Germany, Andi. またね

    Knowing or looking at the kanji helps with learning the pronunciation. The best way for me to learn is by learning the kanji alongside the verbal word.

  • @Theohybrid
    @Theohybrid 2 роки тому +3

    Very smart. As babies we do imitate and learn by proxy of imitation, context clues, and interaction. Rote memory probably has its place somewhere but some kind of work has to be done for the subtext (underneath the hood of the situation) to stick the words into the mind.

    I wish I knew if it's because I need to learn more grammar or vocabulary.
