2ばん: I was thrown off by the "この2さつはいいです", at first I understand everything, students could only borrow a limit of 5 books and teachers 10, but that last statement, I understood it as "These 2 books are good" as in I'll only borrow these 2 books...
That part really had me..
いいです means no thank you in this sentence😊
@@mochirealjapanese3430 thanks for the clarification.
I'm here still trying to understand when "いいです" means "Good" vs when it means the opposite. However I think that understanding will only come by time and practice.
I agree with this my answer is two books.
I had the same thought, this one was tricky ! :)
me too.
I cried at the 3rd question when I became aware of my brain understanding the entire dialogue. Sometimes we study so hard and those moments when you're fully present and listening without analyzing too much, things click and its so validating. Thank you so much!
The timing is perfect for these. They're incredibly helpful for practicing for the N5 in a couple weeks. Thanks!
ganbatte ne!!!😊
More jlpt n5 videos please.
More JLPT5 = more Mochi Sensei 😊
okayyy!👍
Yes please

This channel is amazing. Keep up the good work.
I agree with you. Mochi has the best Japanese learning channel on UA-cam. She is a truly wonderful teacher.
arigato🙏✨
Thank you for training

Thankyou so much for your efforts and your patience… this is so helpful.!
Congrats on 100K subs and the silver play button! 🎉 Omedetou gozaimasu! 🍾
Thankyou so much sensei ❤

Thank you!!!!!✨
Thank you so much for this! I was very weak at listening but I could do this really well! I have my JLPT Nat exam day after tomorrow! Wish me luck 🍀
Thanks
Thank you!
my exam is tomorrow I currently have:
21/32 in Grammar and Reading mock exam
23/35 in vocabulary
I havent done the listening mock exam yet I'll do it later today but I got a 4/5 on this practice
I can listen to your voice forever its so calming
really?😊
@@mochirealjapanese3430I agree. You could be a therapist with a voice like yours
ありがとうございます先生
I can get your video due to you very good details and explain very compleas and not fast not slowly.
ありがとうございます😊
ありがとうございます、先生❤
Arigatoo gozaimashita! I really liked this video. It taught me to focus on numerals. It also taught to be more subconscious of the context, because it will change, iiyoo gozaimas! Joosone!
I said it before on your channel and will say it again, this is the best content by far. And I have watched a LOT of videos on youtube. Thank you.
thank you so mochi!😊
This channel is a godsend 😩 I've got good resources for basic vocabulary thanks to genki textbooks and the Satori reader app, but it's pretty difficult to find sources for basic sentences with which to apply them to, thank you!
appreciate your lovely voice. i love it 😍😍.
Really wish I’d know about your channel before I sat the JLPT in July. The listening part I failed spectacularly 🤣🙈 Hopefully I do better this time thanks to your channel 🙏
4/5! I tripped up on question 2 because I didn't understand the context/inference but at least I understood the conversation!
close!!
Question 2 was such a trick! Even in English, it's confusing
congratulations for 100k subscribers ❤🙊
Thank you for your video❤
いえいえ😊
Really helpful
yay!
Really nice explain

Good thing 😮
ありがとうございます先生。とてもよくにわかりました❤
よかったです⭐️
In japan right now tryna practice up on listening thnx mochi sensei!
oooh! please enjoy!
Thanks! I'm finally understanding these conversations. The only confusing one was the second, because even with your translation, it really sounded like he only wanted 2 books of the 7.
I felt it so too 😲
I did all of them yesterday on my class😂
So I got all 5 of them!
Still it was nice to see if I could again get them right!
haha😂
このテストがとても楽しいですありがとうございます

Sensei ... this is very good excise.. domo arigatho gasaimas.. sensei. I am lerning japanese language ... 🎉🎉🎉 😊
glad to hear that😊
4/5✨
Arigatou gojaimasu mochi sense 🥰
I got 4/5. Number 2 was the only one I got wrong.
I got 3-5 right. 1 and 2 were really difficult for me. For me 5 was the easiest one.
good job!
super sensei
The last one was the easiest for me to understand.
was little bit confused in some questions but by guess, i made 5 out of 5 correct. Arigatou gozaimasu sensei.
well done💪
These are great! I had a hard time with the first two for some reason. I think the first one i just didnt understand the vocab for stamps and postcards so it was easy to get lost. And the second one i still dont quite get. He clearly says ok 2 is good. But the answer was 5. Maybe he meant 2 is good to take away? Anyone have any insight on that?
I'm also still confused by this but I think you're right, the phrasing could maybe translate more loosely in context as "don't worry about these 2 books, then". The literal translation seems to rely on inferred meaning. If someone said "these 2 are good" where I'm from, it would definitely mean "I just want these two books" so it got me in a twist hah
yeah, according to English subtitle she put on the video, the answer should be 2
じゃあ この 2さつ は いいです。
いいです or だいじょうぶです means no thank you
in this context😊
@@mochirealjapanese3430thanks ! Very helpful
i still don't quite understand the second one. Thought it means he only takes two books.
I kinda have the same question since, for me "ii desu" would mean "those 2 are OK", or, "I'll take those 2 then". Maybe in that context it means: Those two are OK for you to keep since, at the beginning of the audio, he wanted to take 7 so would not really make sense to go from 7 to only 2 given that he can borrow up to 5.
Could someone clear that "ii desu" up for us?
I have exactly the same doubt
Same for me. I chose 2 as i thought いいです meant he wanted only 2 at the end. I can understand words but sometimes still have difficulties to understand the meaning depending on the context.
この 2さつ は いいです。
Then, no thanks for those 2 books (no need)
いいです means no thank you in this context😊
本当ありがとうございます
Woohoo!!!
Niban. These 2 are fine strongly suggests not giving back 2 but only taking 2.
give for n4 and n3 .... arigatou gozaimasu
Thank you for this video, Mochi Sensei.
I am a bit confused about 2, if he said “these two are fine”, doesn’t that mean he borrowed two books? I don’t get how it’s 5😢
Your new T-shirt looks so good Mochi Sensei ! Do they come in different colors? I don't wear white.
yes you can choose your favorite color!
please check my online store in the description😊
More please
okay!👍
N4 too please ❤
coming soon!
Me in 4.5 month of learning by bringing on anime and adding duolingo can say I didn't so much look for how many I got right but rather how much I can understand and definitely with understanding level I understood about 75% of words and was able to figure out the books part especially counting books being gosatsu from the 3rd live action death note movie when shinigami beppo was asked how many books his answer was rokusatsu so the counting books is easy and definitely duolingo and binging on anime and pop culture does work along with subscribing to you and others
do u watch anime with eng sub or just raw japanese?
@@hasiburhasanshanto9758 it should be obvious but yes just raw Japanese I only watch English when sharing with friends but after I watch the japanese version and every now and then I may experiment with English dib first japanese 2ndand recently been experimenting without subtitles but 95% of time its raw Japanese
I didn't get any correct even though I do listening practice, but they tend to have japanese captions with them...if I keep doing these videos, will I get better?
3rd 4th 5th I understand but the 1st and 2nd I don't understand the words 😅
😮cool😍
👍😊
These videos are super helpful! Could you please play the audio twice before giving the answer though please? one time is just not enough to absorb all the info.
in the real exam you will hear it only once, so I'll just play once but maybe i should put time table so you can play it twice easily!
❤❤ N4 please
soon!❤
Got them all right, but not going to lie I have to listen to the audio many times before answering. This is something I won't have the luxury come JLPT exam.
ganbareee!
Can u plz make a little bit long video ❤❤
i'll try!😊
❤
Her:- This one is a little hard
Me:- Who only got that one correctly after one listening
More jlpt n4 listening video please

question now: the students said 2books is alright, hows the ans is 5?
honestly this sounds alien to me
I could answer only 5the Question correctly
Thanks...ah thats shiro
yup!!
All the products are from you specifically or from the manufacturer‼️⁉️
it's from real jlpt past exam!
On #2 when does he say that he also wants the other 5 books. He wants 7 but the limit is 5 so he only borrows 2 books. Therefore shouldn’t the answer be 2? Idk
sorry if my translation was wrong,
いいです means no thank you in this context!
he had 7 books,
no thank you for 2 books,
the answer is 5 books
Motto motto 😊😊❤onegai senswi

I think I need N3.5. N3 is still too hard...
got it!

Got confused with the books. These 2 books are good means he doesn't take them? My brain is thinking the opposite.
I thought the answer was 2 as well. Haha. But yeah i guess it makes sense. In otherwords, the student is saying im good with the two, almost saying im not taking the two books
subtitle malay plezz😢.. aku tak faham
